An Edwardian Diamond Necklace, a drop comprising an old cut diamond to a knife edge bar, with a larger old cut diamond terminal, in white claw settings, on a fine white trace link chain, total estimated diamond weight 3.00 carat approximately, chain length 41.7cm, drop length 3.6cm The necklace is in good condition. It fastens with a bolt ring catch. The catch is stamped `9CT`, and in our opinion it would test as gold and platinum fronted gold. The smaller diamond measures 4.12mm x 4.18mm x 2.68mm = 0.32ct, colour J/K, clarity I1/I2, the larger diamond measures 9.24mm x 9.06mm x 4.68mm = 2.74ct, colour L/M, clarity SI1/SI2. See Banfield (Edwin) Barometer Makers and Retailers, pg.187. 16.01.13, Case with some small dents to the top side of the pediment and to the edges, stringing to the borders have been slightly touched up with paint in places, some small scratches to the case, thermometer dial with some small dent marks, main dial with small scratches in parts and slightly discoloured, mercury tube is complete and has been plugged.

The locket panel has deteriorated - it is not clear what this once contained. There is a stone missing from the border, and the enamel is quite worn. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps. It bears some minor surface scuffs to the shank, but these could easily be polished out. It is hallmarked with an unclear sponsor`s mark `M?GLD`, Sheffield, 1994. The emerald measures; 6.13mm x 5.37mm x 3.34mm = 0.69 carat approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 6.0 grams. Ruiz fuera nombrado director de la "Esmeralda", Estrada se convirtió en discípulo de Frida Kahlo, de hecho fue uno de los llamados "Fridos" que pintaron el mural "Pulquería Posada del Sol" con ella. 1840 PENNY BLACK - 1840 Sept 21st, envelope used locally in London franked, Pl. 6 TA, wide margined example tied by a fine strike of the experimental black MC with neat `T.P/S.O. Islington` in black and M/S `Sept. 21st 1840` alongside, reverse h/stamped in red also for the 21st. Exceptionally fine & rare early use of the black experimental MC. BPA Cert. 1991. (1)
