THREE ARCHAIC JADE CARVINGSShang Dynasty/Warring States PeriodComprising a conical bead, Western Zhou dynasty, carved around the tapering sides with whorls. 4.5cm (1 3/4in) long; a rectangular plaque, Warring States period, with a central ridge from top to bottom and carved on either side with C-scrolls, the stone of creamy-orange tone. 8.2cm (3 1/4in) long; and another rectangular plaque, Warring States period, similarly carved on either side with C scrolls, the stone of pale green tone. 6cm (2 3/8in) long.
