A good rare early pattern Third Reich double decal Luftwaffe Paratrooper’s helmet, the scratch finished camouflage painted skull with almost obliterated Luftwaffe eagle and tricolour shield decals, the inner rim stamped “CKL 71”, with early style bolt heads and stout wire cage for attaching foliage, the leather lining with liner size stamp and manufacturer’s code “RB-NpO-6250/0201”, with leather chinstraps to which is attached an old typed postal label, dated 21. Joseph CHINARD PORTRAIT PRESUME JULIETTE RECAMIER Buste en terre cuite patinée Signé au dos : Chinard de Lyon H : 67 cm dont 14cm pour le piédouche en marbre vert. Petits accidents et manques à la patine Il existe, outre les médaillons, plusieurs portraits en buste de Juliette Récamier par Chinard. Le plus célèbre est celui dont les exemplaires en marbre et en plâtre sont conservés au musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon (Inv. B 871 et A 2961 ). Ce portrait a donné lieu à différentes variantes et à de nombreux tirages posthumes de qualités très variables. Notre portrait est, quant à lui, une épreuve en terre cuite d`une belle qualité dont nous ne connaissons qu`un autre exemplaire conservé au musée Cognacq-Jay (inv. J 202 ) et provenant de la collection du Comte Penha-Longa. Dans la vente de la collection de ce dernier à la galerie Georges Petit en 1911 le buste est présenté comme un portrait de Juliette Récamier. Il est difficile d`être affirmatif quant à l`identification du modèle, n`ayant pas de preuve documentaire il faudrait se baser sur l`aléatoire ressemblance entre la jeune Juliette et ce buste très idéalisé aux yeux traités à l`antique.Plusieurs variantes apparaissent entre notre terre cuite et celle du musée Cognacq-jay, dans le drapé, l`inclinaison de la tête, les mèches de cheveux ou encore le piédouche. BREGUET (Chronographe Type 20 - 1ème Génération réf. 5101-54), vers 1955 Mythique chronographe de pilote des ateliers Breguet 1ère génération qui équipait en dotation les pilotes Français de l’Armée de l’Air (une des rares versions de chronographe commandée officiellement par l’Armée de l’Air Francaise). Boîtier en acier à fond vissé avec encoches fait par les ateliers des armées pour une ouverture du fond plus facile. Le marquage Breguet Type 20, ainsi que les numéros de référence de la série sont effacés (seul reste visible le numéro de la montre n° 7546). Lunette crantée en acier et couronne surdimensionnée de remplacement 2ème génération (à l’origine avec une couronne poire). Cadran noir laqué à 2 compteurs cerclés (secondes à 9h et minutes à 3h), échelle de graduation des secondes autour du cadran. Chiffres arabes et aiguilles squelette luminescents. Grande trotteuse lance pour le chronographe avec fonction retour en vol fly back. Bracelet de cuir rapporté. L’absence de signature sur le cadran correspond à la 1ère période de livraison aux armées de 1954 à 1955. Mouvement : Calibre mécanique à remontage manuel VALJOUX / 222 - 14’’ ligne 17 rubis - flyback, modifié par Breguet au spirale Swiss. Diam. 38 mm. État : Bon état.
