A Victorian silver novelty vesta case, in the form of a whistle, initialled, Sampson Mordan, London 1879, approx. 0.8 ozt See illustration Condition report Report by GHThis is a single vesta case which was photographed from two different angles.Hinging lid very slightly loose. S M makers stamp on the main body of the whistle a little rubbed. Otherwise no obvious issues or damage.
A ruby, sapphire and diamond interchangeable ring, approx. ring size M See inside back cover colour illustration Condition report Report by NGApprox 4.4 g (all in)The sapphire band is marked PLAT14D(?) in the engraved decoration.One end of diamond D band is broken at the hinge, has been repaired also looks as though a stone has perhaps been lost.The ruby half of the hoop is misshapen, this means that the base of the rubies is visible under the band, making the stones look as though they have been replaced.Both the D diamond hoops are bent, coloured stones approx. 1 x 1 mm.Wear and rubbing to coloured stones.
