An early 20th century diamond three stone ring, the central old cut diamond with smaller old cut diamond to each side, set in scrolling white metal mount leading to plain polished shank, ring size M 1/2, 3gms, total diamond weight estimated 1.34ct Condition report:  Diamonds are bright and lively. Well matched in colour and eye clean. Minor inclusions are seen under x10 loupe to all three diamonds. Ring would benefit from a clean. Repair to under bezel with visible join and lead solder leading to shoulder and mount. Claws are low and may require attention.

Alcott (Louisa M), LITTLE WOMEN, illustrated by M. E. Gray, limited edition signed by the artist and numbered 73 of 100, full vellum, gilt embossed title and decoration to spine, applied lithographic illustration to front cover, illustrated endpapers, tipped-in tissue-guarded lithographic frontispiece, eleven tipped-in tissue-guarded plates throughout (plate at p82 detached), Hodder & Stoughton Ltd, London (early 20th century) (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:Binding shows small stains and ingrained dirt to boards and spine, bumps to all front corners, rubbing to gilt highlights and the odd small dent to board edges and top and bottom of spine.  Bottom edges show minor shelf wear.  Block shows staining and foxing to edges.  Front endpapers shows a 1cm diameter mirrored stain, some foxing and further flecked marks.  Stain transfers through all free endpapers.  One free endpaper shows a small tear to the base.  Pages show the odd small mark, some foxing to edges and the odd small crease to corners.  Tissue guards show foxing and some creasing, and some show small losses and tears.  The plate opposite p82 is detached and shows some scratches to the the plate surface and scuffs and marking to the mounting page.  The other plates appear to be in generally good condition, showing minor surface wear but no obvious damage or creasing.  The binding is slightly open in places.

There is a minor gap between milgrain setting edge and point of pear cut diamond. (seen with loupe)Milgrain setting edge is worn. Inclusion seen at 5 o'clock, doesn't appear to be surface reaching. Emerald shows rubbing, minor nibbles and nick to table facets. Minor inclusions seen to emerald. Emerald is bright and lively.Repair seen to tip of setting edge of emerald pear cut. One rose cut diamond is missing to centre of head. Setting edge is low in some areas commensurate with age and wear. Ring would benefit from a clean. Areas of repair to under bezel. Shank shows evidence of possibly being later, examples include visible joins to shoulders.Diamond measurements: 8.4mm L x 6.7mm W x 3.2mm DEmerald measurements: 8.3mm L x 6.5mm W x 3.7mm D

An Art Deco style sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the central oval cut sapphire within octagonal surround of round cut diamonds, with baguette and round cut diamond shoulders, head set in white metal leading to yellow metal shank, stamped '18ct' ring size M, total sapphire weight estimated 2.50ct, total diamond weight estimated 1ct Condition report:  The claws are present to the sapphire. Diamonds are appear bright and lively when viewed with the naked eye. Under bezel shows areas of wear, commensurate with age and use. Possible areas of repair as well. Shank shows no visible signs of repair, thinning or resizing. Sapphire is bright and lively under naked eye, and shows colour zoning and inclusions when viewed under a loupe. Crystal inclusion seen to 11 o'clock Sapphire measurements: 9.7mm L x 7.8mm W x 3.9mm D

Hudson, gilt embossed illustrated blue cloth boards, illustrated endpapers, tissue guarded tipped in lithographic frontispiece, tissue guarded tipped in lithographic plates throughout (plate from p20 missing), illustrated chapter headings, Hodder & Stoughton for Boots Pure Drug Co, London 1932 (2) (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:PETER & WENDY - Binding shows shelf wear, small stains, bumps to all corners, lines of white residue and brown residue to boards and fading to spine. Foxing to endpapers, pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Foxing to half title, title and contents pages, age related darkening to all page edges. Mirrored stain to pp46/47 with foxing to page fold. Further foxing to some page folds. Creases to some tissues guards. Blue scuff to p95. Tipped in plates in generally good condition showing no obvious tears or creases.

Berthaud, 'An Anthology of British Teapots', (Micawber Publications, 1985), page 248), decorated with floral spray reserves, surrounded by gilt vine and foliate decoration, 14.5cm high, with a similarly decorated sucriere, 13cm high, a bowl, 16.5cm diameter, two saucers, 14cm diameter, and two plates, 23.5cm diameter, along with a Cauldon porcelain part tea service, comprising: twelve teacups and saucers, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, twelve cake plates, two serving plates, each piece decorated with gilt foliate swags to a cobalt ground, gilt banding, each with printed maker's mark to base, and a Duchess China part coffee service, comprising: six coffee cans and saucers, coffee pot and cover, and a jar, each piece decorated with floral and foliate swags to a yellow ground, gilt decoration and highlights throughout, each with printed maker's mark to base, and a porcelain trinket box, and a white metal mounted scent bottle (Qty) (at fault)

A Mappin & Webb platinum five stone diamond ring, the five round cut diamonds claw set within a platinum plain polished shank, stamped 'M&W, London possibly 1983, ring size P, 8gms, total diamond weight estimated 1.50ct Condition report:  Diamonds appear bright and lively. All matched in colour to the naked eye. Minor inclusions seen to the majority of the diamonds under x10 loupe, however the diamonds are eye clean. Ring would benefit from a clean.There are nicks, scratches and signed of wear to the shank and mount, commensurate with being worn. Thinning seen to the shank.

With a short hinged 10.5cm barrel, the body pivoting on the rear of the grip, the top of the body marked 'Haenel Air Pistol, Brit Pat No 277265, the barrel marked CAL 4.5 m/m (.177). The wooden mounted grip with twin 'Haenel' mounts, numbered 6022 to the base of the grip. 27cm. *CR Light surface marks, spring stiff or not engaging, foresight lacking.

With two white metal medals, the first marking the death of George IV with front view of Windsor Castle to the Reverse (Eimer 1219) and a medal by Spink and Son celebrating Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. 3 medals. *CR First with slightly uneven surface, second lacking silvered finish, third good.
