An assembled collection of Hilditch porcelain, predominantly florally painted19th centuryincluding three eggs cups, a pair of which are painted to the interior with a cottage beside trees, 6.5cm high; a documentary birth mug for Louisa Parker Rhodes, born 18th September 1856 (According to census records, her father was a china and glass dealer in Bradford, West Yorkshire); a low-bellied cream jug on raised feet, a teapot and cover, on four raised feet, painted with alternating panels of flowers against yellow grounds and gilt and cobalt panels, painted pattern number 279, 17cm high; a twin-handled sucrier and cover, decorated with landscape vignettes, a saucer and plate, similarly decorated with grey grounds; a nicely decorated dark-ground trio of teacup, saucer and sideplate, painted with flowers and birds, a cobalt and floral striped coffee cup and saucer, a grey ground teacup and saucer decorated with panels of flowers with gilt, a milk jug with matching coffee cup and saucer, decorated with raised gilt against dark cobalt grounds, pattern 2281, a quantity of other florally painted teawares and two copies of 'Hilditch Porcelain - A Collector's Guide' by Margaret Hewat & June M. A few minor areas of damage, e.g a tankard has a faint y shaped hairline to the base and the large jug has a crack near the handle. A couple of pieces have some yellow staining/discolouration.

A mid-20th century star sapphire and diamond 18ct gold ring, the central oval cabochon blue sapphire weighing 9.39ct (13.4mm x 10.9mm x 5.9mm), continuing to scrolling shoulders set with brilliant cut diamonds, plain polished 18ct yellow gold shank, ring size M 1/2, weight 10.7gms, with accompanying report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, report no. 22472, stating that the carat weight is 9.39 carats, that the stone is a natural star sapphire, shows no evidence of heat treatment, and the origin opinion is Sri Lanka. CR; The central stone is in good order, no cracks, chips or losses. Some minor scratching and wear commensurate with age and use. A few internal fractures running just below the surface are visible to sides of the stone, visible under 10x. There is a very minor rattle from the ring when moved, indicating that the stone is very slightly loose in it's setting, however the claws are in good order and the stone is secure - some tightening may be required. All diamonds are present and in very good order, no cracks, chips or losses. Settings in good order, some scratching and wear commensurate with age and use, but no splitting, major damage or repair. Shank in good order, moderate scratching and wear commensurate with age and use, but no major thinning, splitting, resizing or repair.
