A large Goldscheider terracotta group, modelled as the naked figure of a young woman calmly resting against a recumbent Lion that contentedly nuzzles against her shoulder as they both rest on an architectural base modelled at the corners with fierce lion masks, 51cm. high, impressed factory marks and a metal retail label from Bordeaux.
