A Victorian burr walnut bracket clock with eight day twin fusee movement striking on a bell, the circular silvered dial engraved with strapwork and scrolls surrounded by black Roman numerals and inscribed 'Boxell Brighton', the Egyptianesque architectural arched case with applied ribbon moulding, above carved mask and anthemion motifs, flanked by hieroglyphic fret panels, on an inverted breakfront plinth base, height approx 52cm (faults).
A late 19th/early 20th Century Black Forest carved softwood cuckoo wall clock, with eight day movement chiming on a gong, the circular dial with carved hands and applied Roman numerals, the architectural case surmounted by a bird perched on an oak leaf branch above carved scrolling oak leaf branches (faults).

A late 19th/early 20th Century French gilt lacquered and champlevé enamelled Clock Garniture, the plinth-shaped case surmounted by an architectural pediment, set with a mask frieze, to an overhanging cornice to four freestanding columns, and further foliate decorated frieze panel to four bladed feet, with all over turquoise, white and red enamel decoration to a beaded bezel enclosing a 3 ½" Arabic gilt dial, signed E Polland of Paris, with blued steel fleur-de-lys hands, to a circular brass movement with anchor escapement and strike on a blued steel coiled gong, height 15 ½"; together with a pair of campana urn-shaped Side Pieces, each with further champlevé enamelled rims and pedestals, with scrolling foliate handles, to plinth bases and raised on further bladed feet (3)
A late 19th Century cast Brass Mounted Walnut Mantel Clock, Lenzkirch 113028, the case with overhanging cornice surmounted by an architectural pediment, with urn and globe finials and mounts, to lions mask and ring side handles and caryatid corner mounts to a glazed door, and raised on a plinth base with scrolling bracket feet, to a 7" arched brass dial with applied Roman and Arabic chapter ring, to a matted centre and blued steel hands, and signed square plated movement, with anchor escapement and strike on two blued steel coiled gongs, height 23"
George Hippolyte Aurousseau : An important set of five large framed and glazed watercolour paintings of architectural features from the Temple of Luxor, also a rhyton, a vase and a drinking cup, each signed 'G. H. Arousseau' and dated between August 1886 and January 87, the largest 36cm x 26cm.

This would originally have formed part of the Gothic Revival work of Wyatt on the Houses of Parliament around 1805 and was probably removed following the disastrous fire of 1834 and the subsequent rebuilding by Sir Charles Barry. It is known that prominent political figures of the day including Sir Robert Peel were given statues and architectural fixtures. . Provenance: removed from a private residence in Guildford, Surrey. The family remember this as having been in situ for very many years.
