A French Art Deco marble and spelter clock garniture, the square silvered dial signed Bayard, the eight day movement stamped Lever, made in France, the grey, pink and black marble architectural case surmounted by a spelter Lurcher type hound, together with a matching pair of pedestals, height 23 cm.
J. Wilson, Gateshead, a Victorian mahogany long case clock, circa 1860, the eight day movement striking on a bell, the 13" painted dial with date and seconds dials, church scene above, the domed hood to an architectural case, key, pendulum, two weights, 230 cm. Little is known of Jeremiah Wilson of Gateshead, he is listed as a clock maker and another very similar clock was found on the internet.
Arts and Crafts Interest: A hand coloured architectural drawing entitled 'St.Giles Cathedral Edinburgh proposed chest to stand beside the Argyll monument, signed Esme Gordon (Alexander Esme Gordon) of Gordon and Dey Architects, highlighted in watercolour, the design dated 1953, unframed and folded, 26.5cm x 71cm.
An early 20th century oak cased mantel clock with architectural pediment, the silvered chapter ring set with Arabic numerals above stepped plinth, with applied Edward VII silver hallmarked plaque with presentation inscription 'Presented to Geo. H. Axon by members of All Saint's Old Scholars Reunion 28th Jny 1914', height 38cm, also an Art Deco onyx timepiece of small proportions (2). CONDITION REPORT: Both appear to be in working order, minor surface wear and dirt commensurate with age throughout to both items, onyx example has major cracks running horizontally and diagonally to front.
A 19th century Chinese Canton Export ivory card case of rectangular form elaborately carved with numerous figures in architectural landscape to both sides, 11.5 x 7.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Area of repair to base, few visible areas of minor losses (trees) - please refer to photos, surface dirt and wear (rubbing), lid fits well but is loose.
A circa 1900 Bohemian clear and amber tinted glass goblet of faceted bell shaped form, etched with architectural roundel to each side, on knopped octagonal stem to shaped circular base, height 20cm. CONDITION REPORT: Chip to inside edge of the upper rim, wear to base commensurate with age, surface dirt to the stem and odd areas of wear to the bowl.

Bag of assorted silver photograph frames to include two pairs, including architectural design and serpentine design. (4)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: One has lost easel stand, another has one broken off. All frames are loose. One is very badly dented with holes and losses, others appear ok with general wear.

EDWARD BAWDEN (1903-1989) - a print cylinder with printed striped paper covering by Bawden containing an unrelated unframed architectural print in the modernist style (ARR) CONDITION REPORTS The lid has rusting and corrosion all over, the tube itself has several marks/damages to the paper especially at the top end and a whitish blue to the lower end, possibly damp marks. The base is also rusting and showing signs of corrosion. The print enclosed is discoloured and has water marks and other marks especially evident to the right hand corner as well as areas of foxing throughout. General wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for more details. Cylinder 79.5 cm long x 9 cm diameter. Unknown whether the cylinder is home-made of mass-produced - if home-made then well-made, if mass-produced - unsure of original usage. No labels or clues as to manufacturer. The paper cover has a couple of small scuffs (see images) and some discolouration to the base (opposite end of screw top) suggesting damp at some stage, though paper still in tact. Metalwork to lid, rim and base - rusty and with areas of wear. Provenance: from a local Private Collector of Arts and Crafts items though worth mentioning that our Partner and Senior Valuer and Auctioneer conducted the Probate Valuation for the Estate of Edward Bawden in Saffron Walden end of 1989/early 1990 and remembers seeing similar pieces at the house.
