A fine Devon automaton longcase clock, the eight day striking movement with a silvered dial, the open lunette depicting Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden with paterae foliage engraved arc, the centre engraved with a view of Plymouth Ho with shipping inscribed John Buttall, Plymouth, the calendar arc with strawberry pointer, Rococo foliage to the corners, the mahogany case with arched hood, foliage carved and dentil architectural detachable pediment with brass finials and brass Corinthian capitals to reeded pillars, the trunk with an arched flame figured door and festoons of foliage to the angled corners, the veneered base on a plinth. 7 ft. 9 in. overall height.

An English tapestry fragment, probably Soho, mid 18th century woven with a central bunch of flowers and foliage on a red ground, contained within an elaborate surrounding architectural stirrup, with surrounding foliage and brightly feathered birds on a dark blue ground, possibly previously seat furniture upholstery, now on a wooden support h.58 cm., w.122 cm.
A Charles II large oak chest in the Laudian style, 17th century possibly re-modelled, with four panel cover, interior floor lacking h.69cm., w.148cm., d.61cm. The Laudian Style is charaterised by strong architectural detailing. It exhibits the influences of Roman-Italianate decoration and the architecture of Inigo Jones and his contemporaries. The label 'Laudian' is derived from decorative work commissioned by Wiliam Laud, Bishop of London and later Archbishop of Canterbury, for Lambeth Palace and St John's College, Oxford.

A fine ebony and marquetry secretaire cabinet by Hunsinger, Paris, circa 1880, with a pair of architectural doors and a secretaire drawer, signed Hunsinger a Paris on the lock h.166cm.; w.85cm.; d.49cm. Charles Hunsinger (1823-1893), specialised in furniture made with ebony and ivory marquetry. He became established at 244 rue du Fauborg-Saint-Antoine in 1863 and transferred his workshop to 56, rue de la Roquette in 1867, together with 13, rue Sedaine in 1874. In 1872, he formed a business with Charles-Adolphe-Federic Wagner. They took part in the Paris Exhibitions of 1865, 1867, 1868 and 1889 and won a gold medal at Brussels in 1881.
