A German Mantel Clock, of architectural form, the eight day movement by Junghans, striking on a gong and chiming on rods, the gilt metal dial with silvered chapter ring with Arabic numerals. The walnut case with urn surmount and finials, mounted with ribbon and floral swags, caryatids flanking the dial, raised on claw feet. Measures 52 cm high, 36 cm wide and 21 cm deep.
