A late 19c/early 20c Chinese burr wood folio box, the hinge cover inlaid with bats and central and architectural motif, 11 x 6, together with a perpetual date calendar, shield shaped black lacquered and inlaid with mother o'pearl figures and coastal scenes. This calendar was for a number of years at the College Ning Po, and was corrected daily by the house servant 10.5h.
