A fine pair of Regency period old Sheffield plate candelabras circa 1810 standing on circular foot, with beaded rim, tapering shafts, applied silver bands and decorative shell designs and scroll work all intricately woven in with foliate patterns and gadrooning, with removable twisted branches and sconces with original flame snuffers to central light. Both bases have monogramed letters" J M " and a family crest in the design of a tree, both candelabras are applied with solid silver bands to the gadrooned rims and banding at all joints on the shafts. No repair, damage or restoration, not re-plated, superb condition. H = 55cm x W = 40cm
