Reverse: Short cross voided with a bird in each angle, +ARNGRIM ON EOFR. Moneyer Arngrim at the York mint. Ref: North 827. This coin has been broken and the two parts re-joined.

A hunter pocket watch by Longines and an Albert chain, the circular gilt dial with stylised Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, to a keyless wind movement, the case inscribed 'GRAND PRIX PARIS 1900', stamped '56 14K ' with Swiss squirrel mark, numbered 1658441, the dial, movement and case signed, accompanied by an 18ct gold curb-link Albert chain, with swivel clasps and George III spade half-guinea with fixed scrolled pendant fitting, the chain with later added rose precious metal curb links, watch case diameter 4.95cm, chain length 46.5cm (2)Condition report: Watch: patchy discolouration and scuffs to dial, small losses to numerals (noticeably at 10 o'clock). General wear, scuffs and scratches to case, knife marks to edges. Patchy rubbing to marks. Some gapping to case back when closed. The winder is currently functioning and the movement runs when wound, but is untested for working order, which cannot be guaranteed. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight, including movement, approx. 67gm. Chain: at least 14 links have been later added towards one end of the chain and these links have a rose coloured hue and are untested for metal standard. Most of the remaining links carry 18ct gold marks and the swivel clasps are similarly marked. The chain has general surface wear throughout and the clasps are currently functioning. The coin suspension is worn, with a soldered pendant fitting, and has a deep scratch to the reverse. Diameter approx. 20.5mm. Combined gross weight of chain and coin approx. 38.8gm.

A late 17th century silver tumbler cup, of plain rounded form, the base inset with a William III coin, unmarked, 6.8cm diameter, 3oz.Condition report: Repaired/soldered crack to the rim, with further small splits/cracks. No trace of marks left, apart from one partial impression near to the rim. Coin to base is worn to the underside, date is 16??.
