STAR WARS: DROIDS (1985) - Anthony Daniels Collection: Vintage Kenner C-3PO Droids Figure - A vintage Kenner C-3PO Droids figure from the promotion of the animated TV series Star Wars: Droids. Released in 1985, the action figure was one of 12 figures released, which also included R2-D2 and Boba Fett. The item is unopened but the top of the bubble has become loose, allowing access to the coin. The bubble has yellowed and the card backing remains unpunched. The card backing has a circular indentation near the top where the coin has pressed into it and it also has some minor staining. Dimensions: 9" x 6" x 1" (22.75 cm x 15.25 cm x 2.5 cm)This lot comes from the personal collection of actor Anthony Daniels. Daniels plays loyal protocol droid C-3PO in the Star Wars saga. MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS: THE MOVIE (1995) - Red Ranger Touring Costume with Steve Cardenas-Autographed Glove - A Red Ranger touring costume with a Steve Cardenas-autographed glove from the promotion of Bryan Spicer's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. This costume was specifically made for use at the film's promotional events. It consists of a red fiberglass helmet marked "JYU Red Movie" with a padded interior, tinted visor, nose vents, and a removable back held by pins and fastening strips; a white spandex hood with elastic straps; red foam chest and upper back armor with large white diamond-shaped embellishments; a resin chest coin with a gold-color finish and an ape emblem; white leather gloves with red embellishments; red foam and spandex lower torso armor; a zip-up red spandex undersuit with a white collar and red foam arm and leg armor; a white leather belt; a morpher belt buckle finished in red and silver-color with a gold-color ape coin; and white leather boots with red embellishments. The costume is primarily held together by glue and fastening strips, and the interior of the left glove is signed in black ink by Steve Cardenas (who played Rocky DeSantos, the Red Ranger). The helmet, chest coin, and morpher belt buckle (including its coin) are replicas added to complete the costume. This costume has undergone extensive sympathetic restoration, including replacing its deteriorating paint with red PVC fabric to revitalize its distinctive coloration. Each features a distinct pattern on one side and a character image on the other, including gargoyles, dragons, and clowns, among others.
