This is classic Wurlitzer model 1015 in an older restoration. The Model 1015 was so successful after World War II and its release in 1946, it saved the company from bankruptcy. This example has some replaced plastics and veneer, however it is a good solid box and works and plays well. Coin gear is present and has keys. These iconic jukeboxes are getting harder to find. Height: 149 cm. Width: 84 cm. Depth: 63,5 cm. Condition: Very Good. Location: The Netherlands, Tilburg.
Hexaphone Style 101 phonograph was Regina’s first iteration of an upright, free standing “jukebox” - a coin operated phonograph which stored six cylinders and permitted the patron to select the tune of his choice. Later versions were the Styles 102, 103 and 104. The main technical difference is that this model plays 2-minute cylinders, and the later versions played the 4-minute ones. This particular Hexaphone is in working order and complete but needs some service to play nicely. Oak case with internal horn. One of the original gears has been replaced with a plastic one and a part from one of the legs is missing. Made from 1909-1912 serially numbered from 1010001 to 1011423 (about 1400 total made). Serial No.: 1010748. Height: 162,5 cm. Width: 68 cm. Depth: 47 cm. Condition: Good. Location: Switzerland, Degersheim.
This rare jukebox has a pink 1957 Ford Thunderbird style fiberglass body with a white top that fits flush against a wall. It currently has 6 of the 80 Slots for 45 rpm vinyl records full and the same number of the label Slots on either side of the mechanism and thus offers up to 160 selections. It uses a German mechanism, Model ES-2 NSM to select the records. There are lights behind the chrome trimmed tail lights and a standard size license plate holder. There is a sealed manila envelope attached to the inside with the tubular wrench the factory supplied. Two keys are in their factory location, screwed to the rail on the back of the unit. Serial No. 2031. When this particular Songbird Jukebox was manufactured in December 1988, by Carson City Parlour of Shakopee, Minnesota, it was made without a coin mechanism and is being consigned by the original owner. He had it on display in his retail store, not being used, for 10 years and then in climate controlled storage for the last 20 years! These are becoming more and more scarce as international collectors have become attracted and you simply will not find another unused example. Height: 131 cm. Width: 175 cm. Depth: 84 cm. Condition: Excellent. Location: Switzerland, Degersheim.
