A silver Old English pattern stuffing spoon, London 1805, a silver Old English pattern serving spoon with prongs, London 1799, a silver table spoon, Exeter 1810, a toddy ladle, the bowl mounted with a small Spanish coin and with a twisted whalebone handle and a pair of plated fish servers, with scroll pierced and engraved decoration, combined weight of the first three items 225 gms.

19th century Burmese enamelled coin brooch in brooch frame with pellet border, 37mm diameter CONDITION REPORT Enamel in very good condition, minor scratches but no chips. The reverse of the coin would appear to be gilded and evidence of a previous brooch fitting that has been soldered to the actual coin and subsequently removed prior to being set in the current brooch fitting which is detachable. The brooch fitting is hallmarked for Birmingham 1894. The silver pellets around the edge are damaged / squashed

Collection of six Georgian and later silver caddy spoons, including shell bowl with thread pattern handle (London 1806), maker's mark rubbed, shell bowl with plain handle (London 1807), Elizabeth Morley, shell and heart terminal with engraved initial (London 1817), Thomas Wallis & Jonathan Hayne, bright cut decoration and fluted bowl (London 1826), Joseph Taylor, rural scene with child and rabbit terminal, possibly Dutch (Import marks for Sheffield 1900) and a contemporary silver right hand (Sheffield 1975), maker - F. M., together with a silver sifter spoon with pierced bowl and coin handle (Import marks for Chester 1901). All at approximately 5ozs, sifter spoon 10.5cm overall length (8)

BMC 719 note (citing Baldwins Auction, 1931 and Paris); RIC 382 variant (TR P but obverse legend IMP CAES NERVA...) and RIC 386 variant (this obverse legend but reverse TR POT); cf. Group comprising: short cross series (cut farthing); long cross series (3; including Edward I, Newcastle); William III (2; shilling and sixpence); George III (2; shillings); George IV (sixpence); Victoria (2; shilling and sixpence); George V (3; florin (1918) and sixpences (2)); with 'crooked sixpence' love tokens (3), USA, half dollar, 1898 (with attached pendant suspension loop), Nuremburg jeton, square coin weights (3) and Roman, siliqua (clipped, Honorius?"). Found Lincolnshire, UK. 88 grams total. [23, No Reserve] Fair to fine; the florin much better.
Early 18th century AD. Struck at Gotha(?"). Obv: profile bust of Vesapasian with VESPASIANVS ROM IMP AVG legend. Rev: Jewish captive by palm tree with IVDAEA CAPTA legend; SC in exergue. Mitchiner JMT 1, 2231-2232 (same dies; flaws at R of ROM and P of CAPTA); see Neumann 32533-32535. This small series of anonymous 'Roman' jetons includes examples for Augustus, Vitellius and Domitian, in addition to this of Vespasian; they are all based loosely on original Roman coin issues. 5.14 grams. [No Reserve] Very fine.

Rev: SECVRITAS P R legend around, SC in exergue, emperor standing right before altar, extending his hand toward three soldiers carrying standards. Copying the Paduan coin Lawrence Cavino 23; Montigny 23; Cohen I, p. 254, Note 1; Klawans 2. Type invented by Cavino, this is a cast copy of a later date and omitting the distinctive dots at the end of the word POT and beneath the bust. 23.67 grams. [No Reserve] Very fine.

Group comprising: antoniniani (4; Postumus (3) and another); bronzes (2; family of Constantine); short cross series (Richard I, cut halfpenny); long cross series (3; pennies (2) and halfpenny); Elizabeth I (2; sixpence (1580) and a fragment); with a uniface circular coin weight for a gold angel (73.4 grains").
