A mixed group of silver-coloured metal bifacial plaques comprising: a coin-like disc with reserved text to one face, leaf design to the reverse; a slotted panel with figural image to each broad face; one similar with birds, text and bat to one face, rider to the reverse. 47 grams, 60-65mm (2 1/2"). Acquired on the London art market before 1995. [3, No Reserve]. Fine condition.
Dated 1817 AD. Small head issue. Obv: profile bust with date below and GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA legend; fitted with brooch pin. Rev: crowned arms within garter with BRITANNIARUM REX FID DEF legend; skilfully enamelled in five colours, the exposed metal engraved and gilded. For coin: S. 3789; ESC 6th 2090 (old 616); BSC 51. 12.59 grams, 32mm (1 1/4"). [No Reserve]. Very fine work, attractive and wearable, very minor marks to enamelling.

Dated 1781 AD. Paris mint, struck over a contemporary France coin. Obvs: crown over three lis with LOUIS XVI R DE FR ET DE NAV legend; one with undertype showing. Revs: with 3 / SOUS in two lines over date and 'A' mintmark with ISLES DE FR ET DE BOURBON legend; one with undertype showing. KM# 2. 1.75 grams. [2, No Reserve]. Very fine and fair. Scarce.

D.G. DVX.SAB.PRIN.PEDE.REX.CYP.1673' (based on a coin of Carlo Emmanuel II); a cast discoid plaque depicting the judgement of Solomon with seated king, entreating females, armed man holding an infant by one leg, courtiers in the field. 697 grams total, 10-14.5cm (4 - 15 3/4").
