Birmingham proved barrels (one frozen), borderline engraved muzzles and coin-milled bands at breech, squared border and acanthus leaf engraved actions, the sides of breech marked 'NOCK' on the left and 'LONDON' on the right, central hammers with dolphin head engraving, sliding safes to the top-tangs, finely chequered bag-shaped butts with white metal oval escutcheons at wrists and concealed automatic triggers.
