End ring adjoining swivel clasp is unsoldered and opposite end ring shows signs of lead solder. Half Sovereign coin has been de-faced as it is drilled through.

Falklands War, a trench art ashtray, converted from a 1977 shell case, inset with a 1980 10p Falklands Islands coin, diameter 12.7cm.Provenance; our vendor was a Saturation diver on the MSV Stena Seaspread, part of the Fleet Action Repair Team. This ashtray was made on board. He dived on the wreck of the HMS Coventry to retrieve classified materials before the ship was blown up.
