A DOUBLE SHAFT POND AND A KRUGER PENNY. A gold South African Pond with twin wagon shafts, dated 1892, with Designers initial O S below the bust. The Voortrekkers were displeased with this coin for the reason that their Wagons were only single shafts. Also that the initials OS (Otto Schultz) It was the South Afrikaans word for Ox or Oxen. This coin was quickly withdrawn from circulation, by the Republic. Also an 1898 Kruger Penny, this time with single wagon shaft reverse. (2) See Illustration
AN OFFICERS CRIMEA WAR PAIR. Single bar Crimea medal to Lt C W Willis 33rd foot, engraved naming in upright capitals, Chas Whately Willis Lt 33rd regt 1855-56. Turkish Crimea, English type, unnamed as issued. Purchased from Liverpool Coin & Medal Co 1981. Lt Willis was present for the attack on the Redan in June 1855, he was also present at the second attempt to capture it in September 1855. He later served in Mauritius in 1857. With the Grenadier Company he served in India in the Mutiny suppressing the Mutineers. He served at Sholopar, Deesa, and Baneah. The Regiment never applied for a Mutiny Medal, though he served in the Field Force that besieged and occupied Dwarka.

A CASED GOLD 100 RINGGIT COIN. Minted in 1971 to celebrate the Father of Malaysia's 13th year of leadership. The 100 Ringget coin was issued by the Bank Negara Malaysia, contained in its original case. It is thought that over 75% of the issued 100,000 have probably been melted down. 18.6 gms.
