Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called Apostle. On the wings are the coats of arms: the Kingdoms of Kazan, Poland, Tauride Chersonesos, Astrakhan, Siberian, Georgian and the coat of arms of the united principalities of Kiev, Novgorod and Vladimir - 4 for each wing.
