A collection of assorted Chinese silver, including: two pairs of napkin-rings, one pair by Tuck Chang and Co., Shanghai, each with a hammered finish and with a vacant cartouche, the other pair by Hung Chong and Co., Shanghai, each plain circular, engraved with differing initials; a silver dish, circular and with hammered finish, applied with a cast Yuanbao finial, engraved underneath with an inscription dated 1947; three various dishes, each set with a Chinese coin including a 1911 Hsuan Tung dollar with dragons and clouds, a 1908 Pei Yang example and Yuan Shih-kai Dollar; a filagree dish, engraved underneath with Chinese characters and a set of eight silver-mounted chop-sticks, each pair connected with a chain, the wood shafts spiral-fluted; Together With: a teacup and saucer, each stamped 'T100G' and a British 1930 one dollar trade coin, weighable silver 19oz 10dwt, 607gr (qty)Condition report: Napkin rings - both pairs are free from being misshapen. No splits or repairs. Circular hammered dish - the rim very slightly misshapen. Three dishes (coin inset) - all three with dints and misshapen rims. Filigree dish - one small split to the rim. Chopsticks - one chain broken. Teacup and saucer - heavily dented and with misshapen rim. Trade coin - with discoloration. Light wear and surface scratching throughout. The only items which are not marked are the chopsticks and the three coin dishes.
