λ A George IV mahogany table coin collector's cabinet, with a stylised urn finial above a pair of arched panelled doors, flanked by faceted and lappet carved columns, the interior with forty-two burr veneered and graduated drawers, the majority with coin apertures and with ivory knob handles, 39.4cm high, 38.3cm wide, 32.6cm deep.
A collection of mixed antique metal wares etc to include a large, heavy 19th century brass trivet in the form of a George III tray-top occasional tripod table, 34 cm high, 23 cm diameter, a weighted brass doorstop, 45 cm high, a Victorian hinged document clip in the form of a duck's mask with inset glass eyes, 15 cm long, two wall-hanging classically modelled cast brass busts, an antique novelty 'Jolly' figural kinetic coin bank, etc.
The following 35 lots are from the Museum of the Home in Pembroke, a long established now closed museum of domestic bygones and antiques (further lots to follow in future sales).A collection of nine items concerning money including; metal coin tidy, antique Victorian cut steel beaded Miser stocking purse, a small leather sovereign purse, a black beaded purse with bakelite catch, a child's knitted purse, a black woven string purse with pendant chain, a coloured silk drawstring purse in 17th/18th Century style, a white metal mesh pendant purse and a coloured floral design beadwork purse.
