BEATLES SIGNED RECORD PLAYER FROM DUNDEE 1963. Fantastic piece of Beatles history here in the form of a 4 speed 'suitcase' style Fidelity portable record player bearing handwritten signatures in blue ink to inner lid from George Harrison, (two signatures), John Lennon, Paul McCartney (two signatures) and Ringo Starr (two signatures). The item was signed following their performance at Caird Hall, Dundee on October 7th 1963. When the TV provided was not working the group requested something to listen to records on during their time backstage. The vendors older cousin (whose husband was friends with the the promoter Andy Lothian Jr) quickly nipped to the vendors house (as they lived locally) and borrowed her record player. At the request of her cousin they all signed the inside of the record player and also gave her a souvenir coin and one of Paul's guitar strings. The vendor took all 3 to school that same week but unfortunately the string and coin went "missing". The vendor has included a scanned copy of a newspaper article, which mentions the group using a record player backstage during the evening and has also included a signed letter of provenance.
