Beschreibung: Breiter, mehrfach eingezogener Standring. In die zylindrische Wandung insgesamt 18 Silbermünzen eingelassen, unter anderem Danzig. Des weiteren je eine 'Auswurfmünze' anlässlich der Krönung Friedrich I. im Jahre 1701 in Königsberg, in der Mitte des scharnierten, mehrfach eingezogenen Deckels bzw. im Boden eingelassen. Der Ohrhenkel mit gegabelter Daumenrast, Perlzier und Schild. Vorne auf der Wandung unterhalb des Lippenrandes Besitzergravur mit Datum: "C.Federowitz Ao 1771 / 4 Juny". Auf der Oberseite des Deckels Umschrift: "Regina Sahmin Wittil Gebohr. Kaeyserin (?) 1706 15. Febri" / "Anna Dorothea : Fischerin : geb : Offin : Ao 1744 d. 13 Martii". Gewicht: 630g. Maße: Höhe 16cm. Marke: BZ Königsberg (Czihak Ostpreussen Nr.2), Jahresbuchstabe R für 1705, Tremolierstrich, MZ Christian Bistram (ab 1701, gest. 1738, ebd. Nr.292). Marke: Preussischer Steuerstempel. Bei dem vorliegenden Humpen handelt es sich der Größe und den Inschriften nach zu urteilen wohl um einen Damenhumpen. Info: Charles-Guillaume Diehl (1840 Steinbach / Hessen to 1885) was a German cabinet maker, carpenter and wood turner who continued the woodworking tradition of his family. Like many other German cabinet makers, Diehl set up his own workshop in Paris on Rue Michel-le-Comte in 1840. At times he employed up to 600 people. A gem set gold kovsh,of circular dish form with a flat scalloped handle and raised foot. An oval cabochon chrysoprase, claw set to the handle in a plain collet, with raised scrolling flower head and vine decoration, with diamonds, rubies, sapphires and a quartz, rub set in plain collets. A planished textured interior to the bowl, with a 15 rouble coin at the base, with a sapphire and diamond set bezel. Samorodok decoration to the exterior of the bowl and foot with scattered rose cut diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds with the coin reverse visible at the base. Spurious maker's mark and standard mark, ignore. Tested as approximately 18ct gold. 91 x 61 x 25mm approximately, 90.32g.Provenance: The property of a West Country gentleman.Condition report: Small repairs to the bowl, visible to the inside and outside.Coin tarnished.49127 scratched inventory numberMarks to the gemstones.The hallmarks are spurious.
