An 18ct Gold Prize Medal, awarded by The Pharmaceutical Society, engraved by Royal Mints Chief Engraver (1795-1851) William Wyon. The reverse of the coin shows Galen, approx 45 x 45 mm, approx 60 gms, this prize was awarded in 1884 together with another silver medallion Materia Medica 3rd Prize 1883-1884, approx 29 gms.Note: These medals was awarded as a prize by the Pharmaceutical Society, later called the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. The society was formed in 1841 to bring all the chemist and druggist together to form a professional body.

The UK Quad poster for Stanley Kubrick's tour-de-force "Spartacus" (1960). The film received six Oscar® nominations and won four (Dalton Trumbo's screenplay was overlooked). The Quad poster design was based on the US One-Sheet Advance with Reynold Brown providing the "coin" illustration.
