A CASED REPRODUCTION 11-BORE FLINTLOCK 'WAR OF INDEPENDENCE 200TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY BROWN BESS' MUSKET, no visible serial number, produced in 1975, with polished round 46in. barrel, the breech end engraved with the Prince of Wales fleur-de-lys over a banner marked 'ICH DIEN' and another '1775-1975', traces of gilt wash to engraved detail, borderline engraved lock, walnut hand-rail full-stock, the right side of butt inlet with a silver Georgian coin (rubbed), silver-plated brass furniture and iron ramrod, fitted with a buff leather sling and together with a full length walnut case lined in crushed velvet and complete with a large powder horn engraved with a fleur-de-lys over 'G.R' and the motto 'TO LOYALTY A TOAST' and a reproduction bayonet of the correct type (no scabbard). A RARE .177 HAENAL MODEL 'V JUNIOR' UNDER-LEVER AIR-RIFLE, serial no. 629, almost certainly a date code for June 1929, with blued 16in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, elevating buck-horn rear-sight, the top of barrel marked 'CAL 4.5mm (.177)', tap-action breech, plain air-chamber marked 'HAENAL MOD V JUNIOR D.r.g.m.' coin-milled end-cap, beech half-stock with semi pistol-grip and grooved fore-end and push-button release under-lever, the whole retaining the majority of a professional refinish. A CASED PAIR OF 32-BORE FLINTLOCK BRASS-BODIED POCKET PISTOLS SIGNED BECKWITH, no visible serial numbers, circa 1800, with blued turn-off 1 5/8in. round barrels engraved with bands at muzzles and breech, rounded brass boxlock actions engraved with borders and shield trophies signed 'W.A. BECKWITH' on the left and 'LONDON' on the right, Birmingham proofs, engraved pan tables with rainproof pans and central ring-necked cocks, top-tang safes also locking the frizzens, concealed automatic triggers, smooth bag-shaped grips, in a period walnut case lined and compartmented in red velvet (some fading), the inside of the padded lid with reproduction trade label and containing a number of period but possibly unassociated accessories including a diminutive flask, a loading rod, turnscrew and scissors mould, the outside of lid with plain coin-edged circular escutcheon.
