Saudi Arabia, silver Riyal dated AH 1354 (AD 1935) (KM 18). Extremely fine.. This coin was recovered from the bullion cargo on board the wreck of the SS John Barry, a US Liberty ship torpedoed off Oman on 28th August 1944. The coin is sold with brochures detailing circumstances of the ship`s loss and the cargo`s recovery.
