Trial 25 Pence 1981, cupro nickel wt.5.7g, Obv: ROYAL MINT TRIAL over royal orb, incuse floral motifs below. / Rev: EXPERIMENTAL COIN 1981, ROYAL MINT, arms of the mint. BU. Note that the similar planchets at 5g were used for the 20 pence pieces issued from 1982 onwards, but this trial piece was originally intended as a 25 pence. For another example sold recently see DNW Sale 14 March 2012, lot 551.
Eadmund silver penny, Small Cross/Moneyer`s name in two lines Type, Spink 1105, obverse reads:- +EADMVND REX, reverse reads:-BIRNEARD MO, three cross pattee between and trefoil of pellets above and below, J.J.North p.104 where this moneyer is rendered `Biorneard`, extremely rare and it is thought only one other is recorded, looks to have been struck from lightly rusted dies with a little weakness near top, probably a hoard coin as is full, round, well centred and near as struck with no edge chips GVF
Edward III gold quarter noble, Fourth Coinage 1351-1377, Pre-Treaty Period [1352-1361], with two pellets with top lis, reverse, Spink 1498, edge damage and loss, otherwise NVF, with an Edward I silver penny of Canterbury with short crack, scuffed NF, a French jeton, rough surfaces NF and a Spanish copper of Philip IIII an interesting piece as is well off centre and exhibits another coin edge, ie must have been struck in sheet form, F [4]

Private company printed cash certificate from Jiangxi Province, “Wu Ling Hsien” filled in by brush work, Company name “Tsui Kee”; On reverse, brushwork name of the cashed company. Dark blue with cockerels on the sides supporting globes on light blue underprint, back with Chinese character brush strokes. Choice VF condition.
