The “Bomber Nose” got its nickname from the enlarged plastic dome over the record player, similar to the nose of Boeing B-17 “Flying Fortress” bomber, which allowed for the working mechanism to be seen much clearer. Multi-coloured lights rotate within the pilasters, red-yellow interior dome lighting, rotating song selector, shiny chrome details.
