A CHINESE CASH COIN SWORD, BIXIEJIAN, QING DYNASTY. Various Qing bronze coins joined by string to form a sword. Traditionally used in homes primarily in Southern China to ward off evil spirits. Together with a silk embroidered fan case decorated with various birds. Sword 44cm length. (2) Slight staining in areas to the silk case.

The first enamel watch is stamped '935' on a third-party generic strap, and the second yellow metal lady's watch is stamped '375' on an elasticated yellow metal strap. A coin-style St Christophe ring is stamped '375' and a wedding band in yellow metal is also stamped '375', the third stone set ring is base metal. The butterfly brooch is hallmarked 9ct gold and set with seed pearls, the second misshaped bar style brooch tests as 9ct gold. The chain in yellow metal is stamped '375' and finally the bangle is stamped 1/5th 9ct (gold filled). total weight of all items 97.4g (8)
