Extremely rare NZ 1975 20 cent coin mis-struck with border of Hong Kong $2 coin One of about 15 of its kind. The NZ 20c piece had been minted in the shape of a Hong Kong $2 coin by mistake in 1975, making it one of the rarest New Zealand coins in existence. The coin was struck when the Royal Mint was making 5 million 20c coins for NZ before it went on to strike 60 million Hong Kong’s new $2 coins. Face of NZ 20c coin but shape of Hong Kong $2 coin. Together with a normal 1975 20c coin and a $2 Hong Kong Coin.
Henry III silver penny, Short Cross Issue, Class 7c, with degraded portrait, obverse reads:- hENRICVSR EX, reverse reads:- +ILGER ON LVNDE, London Mint, moneyer Ilger, this coin is interesting in that Spink gives IIger to Classes 6c-7b, the obverse seems 7c but the reverse is of very neat style and could be 7b but we have no `A` or `M` in the legend, full, round, reverse struck slightly off centre, a little flatness on lower obverse legend, nice portrait, dark even tone NVF
