A 1998 Porsche Boxster, registration number R315 JPF, blue. This early Boxster has a manual gearbox, a red leather interior and sits on alloy wheels. Having been in storage the owner is currently getting a fresh MOT which should be with the car by the time it arrives for the auction and it may require some further re-commissioning work before taking to the road again. V5, handbooks, some service history, MOT TBA See illustration
A 1996 Toyota Celica convertible, registration number N658 BRD, red. This rare convertible was imported in 1999 and has had a lady keeper since 2010. The car features a manual black cloth hood, a 2 litre twin cam engine, a five speed gearbox, electric windows and multi spoke alloy wheels. V5C, MOT to August 2019 See illustration
A 1990 Volvo 240 GL, registration number G223 EEF, blue. This rare manual 240 GL saloon is now a desirable modern classic. So few saloons survive compared to the estate version it is hard to say how many are still on the road. This car was found by a Dorset Volvo enthusiast and collector in Hartlepool where it was being stored by the owner of a coach company amongst the coaches in the coach station. This may go some way to explain the general good condition especially the interior which is clean and showing very little wear. Having been in store as part of a private collection this rare survivor will require some recommissioning before taking to the road. V5C, no MOT See illustration
A 1994 Rover Mini Cooper 1.3 automatic, registration number M351 CRV, chassis number SAXXNNAXKBD084996, British Racing green/white. This Mini Cooper was originally exported to Japan, in right hand drive. The car which is finished in traditional British Racing green with white racing stripes and black half leather interior, returned to these shores in 2009. This rare automatic example has been well maintained by the current and previous owners and has previously benefited from a major service including a gearbox rebuild by the Mini Centre Ltd, London and a brake overhaul in 2013. Since purchasing the car from a previous Charterhouse auction (April 2016) approximately £3500 has been spent on maintenance including another gearbox overhaul. The car has some service history including previous owners' receipts and maintenance receipts in the current ownership, and an original Japanese owner's manual. Since acquiring the Mini our vendor has only used the car a few hundred miles annually and is now reluctantly selling due to a lack of use. V5C, MOT to May 2019 See illustration
A 1995 Rover 100 Kensington, registration number M356 MHO, red. This smartly presented limited edition Kensington was originally supplied by FJ Chalke, Mere, Wiltshire. It has 31 stamps in the service book and would make a perfect starter classic or economical first car. V5C, MOT to October 2019 See illustrationThis manual car had 37356 miles recorded at its last MOT inspection in October.
A 1955 BSA C10L project, registration number LRP 46, frame number BC10LS 3440, engine number BC10L 4249, grey/blue. This C10L was purchased by our vendor in 1980 from St Michael's Motors (Stamford) Ltd as a project. He subsequently fitted a new wiring loom, but unfortunately no further works were carried out. The BSA has been in dry storage for nearly 40 years and now requires restoration and would make an excellent candidate for preservation. The accompanying history file contains the last MOT, which expired in April 1979, the bill of sale from St Michael's Motors, instruction manual, service sheets, DVLA correspondence and a gasket set. RF60, MOT and tax exempt See illustration
A 1924 Triumph SD, registration number BF 8770, frame number 337021, engine number 979830GH, green/black. The revised 4hp sidevalve Triumph was introduced in 1914 and saw sterling service in the Great War with some 30,000 machines being despatched to the Allied forces. In 1920 the Triumph became known as SD standing for spring drive, it would later form the basis of the four valve Ricado model. This SD remained unused for over 40 years before being purchased by our vendor. There followed a painstaking restoration which took two years to complete (photographs on file of pre and post restoration). The works carried out were extensive which included a fully rebuilt engine, stove enamel frame, overhauled forks, new wheel rims, spokes, tyres and inner tubes, new saddle, handle bars, chain, exhaust and silencers, fully repainted fuel tank, and numerous other items associated with a restored motorcycle. The SD is a matching numbers bike which was assembled at the factory in March 1924 and was subsequently registered at Essex County Council on 19th July 1924. Unfortunately because of the length of time the SD was off the road and the loss of the original logbook the Triumph had to be re-registered with an age related number. The Triumph will be offered for auction with an operating manual, spares list (both photocopies) and sundry paperwork. It is only being offered for sale due to the vendor now reaching the age of 85 and he is now unable to ride the machine. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustrations
