1972 Morris 8 CWT Pick-UpMake: Morris Model: 8 CWT Pick-upYear: 1972Mileage: 66008VIN: MAU5326007Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: CAR944KTransmission: manualRegistered in January 1972 - thus making this one of the last Minors of any type to be sold, as UK production had ceased during 1971 - this 998cc Morris pick-up has the more substantial rear springs of the 8cwt model (as opposed to the 6cwt variant). History is limited; there's the V5C registration document, showing just one former registered keeper. There's also a period brochure, British Leyland 'passport' service booklet stamped up to 36,000 miles, handful of 1980s tax discs and MoT certificates from 1977 to 1983 (showing the mileage rising from 40,480 to 63,864). The current odometer reading is 66,008. Three old miscellaneous invoices from the 1980s and 1990s are included too. It's unclear as to whether the vehicle has been restored at any point, although if it has been, it was probably some years ago as signs of age and wear are now noticeable inside and out. The brakes are currently inoperative, so will need to be looked at. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 28TH OCTOBER BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

There's a selection of other invoices from 1987 to 2008, including an engine rebuild in 1987. A solitary 2005 tax disc is in the file as well, as is the owner's handbook. However, by far the best item in the file is the small notebook that includes all work carried out from 1973 to 2002. By following this through, it seems to indicate that 40,075 miles indicated on the odometer is likely to be 240,075 miles - although this is after both an engine and body rebuild, of course.

2001 Rover Maestro 1.3 (Ledbury)Make: RoverModel: Maestro Year: 2001Mileage: 53688VIN: TETB10S130530Z002Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: X356AVJTransmission: manualIn 1994, Rover established Rodacar, a joint venture with a Bulgarian company to produce Maestros in that country using CKD kits sent from the UK. Production began in July 1995 and 2200 cars were assembled before the factory closed in April 1996. However, two British dealers, Parkway Services in Ledbury and Apple 2000 in Bury St Edmunds, acquired the stocks of unsold Maestros, both in CKD kit form and already-built up, and subsequently sold them in the UK, converting most of them to right-hand drive. This 2001 car is one of the Parkway Services CKD cars, albeit with its V5C recording it as a TET (Trans European Trading - a company very closely associated with Parkway Services). These Bulgarian machines are generally better-known as Ledbury Maestros. Seven former registered keepers are noted on the current V5C (which is accompanied by several past V5Cs), and the car's odometer records a mileage of 53,688. The MoT is valid until June 2022, and there are previous certificates from 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2015, 2014 2012, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007. There's also a print-out of previous MoTs from 2022 back to 2007 (when the mileage was 32,041 miles). One of the several bills in the paperwork file is for a repair to the roof, bonnet and bumper in 2012 at a cost of nearly £500. This Maestro is in very good order throughout, and a fascinating example of one of the very last examples of the breed to be put together. However, advancing years have made it difficult to enter and exit, so it has been replaced by a more practical but less exciting Mazda 3. The car has covered just over 42,000 miles from new. The paperwork folder includes a selection of invoices and MoTs (from 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007 and 2006) which help confirm the low mileage. Recent work includes a replacement rear brake caliper in June 2021 (£258.32). The car's MoT is valid until June 2022. The service book is stamped up to June 2021 at 42,173 miles, and the owner's manual is included. The V5C records two registered former owners from new and comes with a spare key and book pack. 1982 Porsche 924 Turbo One owner from newMake: Porsche Model: 924 TurboYear: 1982Mileage: 10178VIN: WP0ZZZ93ZCN100813Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: LDZ3353Transmission: manualThe Porsche 924 was introduced in 1976 as an 'entry level' model for the marque. However, with its 2.0-litre Volkswagen-derived engine, it was soon recognised that a bit more performance was required and so, in 1978, a turbocharged version was introduced. This 1982 Turbo was first used in Germany by a British army captain, and so wasn't registered in the UK until 1984 when he brought it back home with him. The car is finished in Mauritius Blue with a 'BH' black, grey and white pinstripe half-leather interior. It comes with an extensive service history, which documents a speedometer change at 73,858 miles by Dick Lovett Porsche in 1999. The vendor believes that there is enough history to support the mileage of approximately 84,000 as being correct, given the current speedometer reading of 10,178 miles. The history file includes the current and previous V5C documents, service books, a huge amount of bills and invoices dating back to the car's delivery days - there's enough to delight any keen car historian for many hours - and 16 MoT certificates, with a gap between 2007 and 2020 when the car was in storage. It has recently been recommissioned and just been issued with a fresh MoT, which is valid until September 2022. The car is in very good condition inside and out, with a missing weatherstrip at the bottom of the driver's door window being one of the few exterior faults. It has been off the road since 2016, with its last MoT expiring in August of that year. The car has had three former keepers according to the V5C, and the odometer reading - which is warranted by the history - is 134,537 miles. The paperwork includes the current V5C and the original document folder with owner's handbook, in-car entertainment guide and service book. This is stamped up to 60,474 miles in 2006. The online MoT history then confirms the mileage beyond that. There are test certificates from 2003 onwards and a selection of invoices. The most recent one, from April of this year, is for new pedal pads and an accelerator pedal. There are also tax discs from 2004 to 2014. 1994 Vauxhall Omega 2.0 16v GLSMake: Vauxhall Model: Omega Year: 1994Mileage: 80929VIN: W0L000025R1102920Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: L96SVFTransmission: manualIn 1994, Vauxhall fell into line with its German counterpart by naming its Carlton successor the Omega - a name that had been used by Opel since 1986. Although thoroughly modern in its curvaceous styling, it retained a traditional rear-wheel drive chassis, as befitted an executive car of the era. This maroon 80,620-mile 2.0 16v GLS was registered in May 1994, making it an especially early example, as production only started in April 1994. There isn't much paperwork beyond the V5C document and the current MoT certificate (which expires on 10 December 2021), although there is a Haynes workshop manual as well. A check back over the online MoT history shows that the January 2006 MoT was at 30,592 miles, so what is a comparatively low mileage for a 27-year-old car is largely backed up by the MoT details. The car presents very well, but does have a smattering of stonechips over the bonnet and front wings, as well as in a few areas further back. Initially only available with a 1.9-litre four-cylinder engine, more potent six-cylinder versions soon followed. This 2171cc 168bhp six-pot example was registered in August 2002 and has had just one registered lady owner throughout its life, during which it has covered 67,358 miles. This total is confirmed by the full service history, with stamps at 9020, 14,685, 27058, 36660, 50958, 60571 and 67223 miles, the latter service having been carried out in May of this year. The current MoT runs until the end of January 2022. The car's spec includes heated black leather sports seats, power roof and electric windows. Overall, this BMW is in very good order; there's some minor lacquer peel on the rear bumper and a few age-related exterior blemishes, but the hood is in nice condition, as is the interior. 1997 Volvo 940 Celebration EstateMake: Volvo Model: 940 Celebration Year: 1997Mileage: 81565VIN: YV1945811W1229537Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: R790PNNTransmission: manualThe 940 Celebration was a last-of-the-line model built to mark the passing of Volvo's traditional rear-wheel drive big four-cylinder estates, as the marque switched to front-wheel drive. Only available in estate form and with a host of extra equipment, it cost a hefty £18,425 on the road. Powered by the 2.3-litre light pressure turbo engine, the spec featured metallic paint, colour co-ordinated bumpers, sports grille, roof rails and 15-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there was half-leather upholstery, wood trim, air conditioning, front and rear electric windows, leather steering wheel, RDS radio cassette player, headlamp wash/wipers, ABS brakes, electrically-heated front seats and adjustable door mirrors. This example, in Blackberry Metallic with black cloth/grey leather interior, was registered in November 1997. Its odometer shows 81,565 miles (which is largely confirmed by the available history), and it has had three former keepers. Its MoT has only recently expired, in October of this year. Aside from the current V5C, the paperwork includes the original Volvo booklet wallet, with owner's manual, service book (stamped up 76,102 miles in 2014) and dealer network guide. The selection of invoices date from the middle of the first decade of the 21st century, as do the pair of MoT certificates. The Volvo's interior is in very good order; with little wear to the seats, nice wood, and no lifting of the vinyl covering on the door cappings (which often affects 900-series cars). Ripspeed tread plates are fitted in the door apertures, The exterior displays stone chips on the bonnet, and there are also areas of wear and flatness in the paint. Corrosion is evident on the nearside door mirror base and offside front wheel arch, which is holed. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 7TH OCTOBER BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

It was sold at ACA's August 2021 auction, and its new owner subsequently had it fully serviced and the clutch replaced. However, due to an 'impulse purchase and it not fitting in with personal requirements', he has taken the decision to put it up for auction with us again. The car was been constantly maintained by its previous owner who, being an aeronautical engineer, was probably little challenged by machines that didn't have a habit of flying off into the ether. It is in excellent condition inside and out. The history folder contains a full set of MoTs from 1993, with the current ticket expiring in March 2022. They confirm the recorded mileage of 84,400 as genuine. The original colour combinations offered were grey/white, grey/red and grey/yellow, but when these sold out very quickly, a second series of Dolly models were produced in September in white/red, white/green and beige/maroon. The demand continued and so Citroën made the Dolly a permanent 2CV model. When that happened, the Dolly switched emphasis somewhat; instead of being based on the more luxurious Club, the production Dolly was based on the basic 2CV Spécial instead. In the UK, the Dolly soon became the best-selling 2CV model. The vendor has owned this green and white one, registered in April 1987, since 2014 and tells us that it has been garaged most of its life, with 'little or no rust'. After having been 'sympathetically recommissioned' with new exhaust, shock absorbers, tyres, coil, it was MoT'd until May 2017 and thereafter had little use, being kept in a dry garage. The car has recently been serviced, with a new brake master cylinder fitted - which means, says the vendor, that it now 'runs, drives and stops as it should'. The odometer reading is 84,500 miles, and six owners are recorded by the V5C, which is present. Also included in the history folder are MoT certificates, assorted invoices and the driver's handbook. This Tuscan Blue example, registered in September 1972, was restored five years ago but then never used. The vendor tells us that lots of money was spent, during what was a body-off rebuild. All the panels were dipped and painted, while the suspension was treated to Bilstein shocks, a new steering box and Polyurethane bushes throughout. The Rover V8 engine was rebuilt, an Allisport alloy radiator fitted, a new clutch put in, and the brakes renewed, with Goodridge brake lines throughout. A new fuel tank was installed, along with a Facet fuel pump. All tyres were renewed. While the vehicle has been sat in a dry garage for three years, it will need some recommissioning to be returned to the road. A new rear bumper is also required. The indicated mileage is 31,575. Having been registered in January 1992, this XJ600 was one of the final ones to appear. The current odometer reading is 23,213; while this isn't warranted, a check of the online MoT history reveals that the total in February 2008 was 15,212 miles, so in the last 13 years, this bike has covered just 8000 miles.
