A 1950s Bernex 9ct gold manual wind wristwatch with signed champagne dial, silver Arabic numbers, black hands and seconds subsidiary dial, 15 jewel Bernex no.3 movement, cased marked .375, case diameter 28mm, no strap. Condition: currently running and in working order although not sold with any guarantees, watch only no strap, lugs also marked 9.375, 18mm between lugs, minor dents to lugs surface scratches to case, dial very clean, crown functioning well.

A collection of original post-WWII Second World War personal letters and items relating to a 4043068 AC2 Ray J. Keenan of the RAF. Comprising: his WWII Pattern Airborne Troops / Paratrooper uniform steel combat helmet. Green painted shell, the inner impressed for 1955. Original rubber liner present, and elasticated canvas chin strap. Complete example, generally in good original condition. Along with his Manual of Drill & Ceremony, and various letters home to his parents after joining up in 1950 - some charming contents including the price of meals, and a generally comprehensive view of life in the RAF at the time. An interesting collection.
