The Triumph TR6 was produced between 1969 and 1976 and, by the time production ended in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. In total 94,619 TR6s were manufactured of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the TR5, but the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. The TR6 featured a four-speed manual transmission and an optional equipment overdrive unit was a desirable feature because it gave drivers close-gearing for spirited driving whilst remaining an excellent touring car for open motorways. It also featured independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15" wheels and tyres, pile carpet on the floors and boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instrumentation. Braking was provided by disc brakes at the front and rear drum brakes.Originally registered on 22nd September 1971 this Triumph TR6 presents very well in Mallard Green with a black interior. Forming part of a private collection, this TR6 has clearly been very well looked after as the paintwork is in very good order and so is the interior. Still bearing the original Lucas fuel injection system, this 150bhp Triumph is described as driving with no known faults. Supplied with a V5C registration document, together with a collection of invoices, this is a perfect starting place for any classic car enthusiast. The 996 is the internal designation for the Porsche 911 model manufactured and sold between 1998 and 2005. On its debut, the 996 featured the most significant changes to the Carrera model since its 1963 introduction, namely the water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled unit. Progressively stringent noise regulations, environmental concerns, a higher expectation for refinement and a high-performance, four-valve per cylinder engine made the switch necessary. Other changes included a sleeker body with a more steeply raked windshield and a redesigned interior. The performance characteristics remained superb with reliability at its core. The 996 was another step forward for Porsche, making cars that not only excited their fan base but appealed to those who wanted a comfortable and practical everyday sports car that could sprint to 60mph in a shade over five seconds. This Porsche 996 was delivered new in 1998 from the franchised dealer Stratstone of Wilmslow and features the desirable manual transmission. The specification also includes a Sport Package, Sports suspension, Locking differential and Traction control. This iconic German sports car presents well in the classic colour combination of silver coachwork with a contrasting black leather interior and benefits from a factory fitted sunroof, sports seats and is fitted the attractive 18” Sports Techno wheels. The file for this well-maintained example includes a V5c registration document, a valid MoT test certificate, a well stamped service book, the original owner’s manual and various bills and receipts. When prices rise for 996’s (and they will) you could be one of the lucky ones that can say they bought a 911 for under £20,000. The Z3 was the first modern mass-market roadster produced by BMW as well as the first new BMW model to be assembled in the United States. It was introduced as a 1996 model year vehicle, shortly after being featured in the James Bond movie 'Golden Eye'. While the film was number one at the box office, sales of the car peaked and it was sold out by the time the car was launched. The Z3 was designed by Joji Nagashima of the BMW design team and developed from the E36 platform of the 3-Series. The resulting platform is often referred to as the E36/7(roadster) or E36/8(coupé). When launched, only the 1.9 litre straight four engine was offered, but its 138bhp was not up to expectations. A 2.2 litre engine producing 168bhp was made available for the more enthusiastic driver and in 1997 a powerful six cylinder 2.8-litre engine producing 190bhp was an option, or a 3.0-litre straight six with 228bhp.The car we have here presents well in Topaz Blue with a very retro two tone blue and black interior. The car was serviced by Robert Stern BMW up until 2007 at just shy of 48,000 miles, then visited Rybrook BMW in 2009 at 55,000 miles. Since then, the car has been serviced a handful of times by smaller independent garages, most recently at 81,803 miles. These cars are getting even better with age, a true BMW analogue sports car, which we’re very unlikely to see produced by them ever again. The car is supplied to auction with its leather wallets containing owner’s manual, service book, and brochure. Also included are various service bills, a V5C registration document and MoT test certificate valid until April 2025. Consigned by Fraser Smith
The Ford Escort RS Cosworth was released in 1992 just as the Sierra Sapphire 4X4 Cosworth production was ending. The radical styling that included flared arches and the unmissable whale tail rear spoiler, displayed only a small part of the potential however, that potential was fulfilled by the fitment of the Ford power unit that lay under the bonnet boosted by a turbo charger. Production commenced in February 1992 with the first 2,500 being homologation specials. The Cosworth was entered into the World Rally Championship the following year, enjoying outstanding success in the hands of works drivers François Delecour and Miki Biasion. Although the RS Cosworth resembled the Escort road car, it was in fact based on a shortened Sierra 4x4 floor pan and used the latter's running gear. This meant that, unlike the mainstream Mk. V Escort, the RS Cosworth mounted its engine fore-and-aft rather than transversely, it also used the Sierra 4x4's five-speed manual transmission which featured permanent four-wheel drive that split the power 34/66 front/rear. In road trim, the RS Cosworth produced 227bhp and with that horsepower in a nimble, compact car, performance was outstanding. The end came too early for many enthusiasts with production ceasing in January 1996. Only 7,145 cars were produced over a four-year period. This stunning Pacific Blue late big turbo RS Cosworth is presented in Pacific Blue with full black Lux leather trim. K726 PLE was sold to its first owner on 25th September 1992 and remained with him until last year when permanently relocating to the USA he sold it to his good friend. The car having spent a number of years in storage as the owner spent more and more time in the US was a little cosmetically untidy and needed a little TLC so the new owner had the intention of recommissioning it himself but not having the time or funds to do the car justice he negotiated with the owner of the business tasked with the work ‘our vendor’ to step in and purchase the project and thus the more detailed cosmetic restoration began in earnest. We are told the car started fine and ran well but naturally needed all fluids removing and replacing and the car serviced, bearing in mind the incredible low mileage the interior was in fantastic condition and thus required nothing more than a leather feed and clean. The plan was to recommission and ‘tidy’ the car leaving or retaining originality but as many projects do this began to expand. The decision was taken to remove the engine and fully rebuild it and then detail it but while the engine was out he decided to paint the entire engine bay, then because of a few age related marks the decision was taken to expand this to fully repainting the entire car.At this point the simple ‘commissioning’ had got fully out of hand and this our vendor changed tack and decided to spend the best part of the year ensuring the car was in a condition befitting of a low mileage low owner collector car…. So up next while the car was in the air awaiting its engine rebuild the decision was made to completely refurbish the underside with every nut and bolt removed, cleaned or replaced and zinc plated. The budget at this point had been thrown out the window and although not wanting to add up the man hours its estimated it would cost circa £60,000 to replicate the work luckily for our vendor this work was absolved within the restoration business that he owns indeed a restoration business with two world records under its belt and he and his team can feel proud of the result. What we now have is a genuine, very low mileage standard example with history up to the point of storage and details from the restoration over the last year, a fabulous example therefore of an iconic 90’s fast Ford. In essence a one owner car for almost all of its life and with under 18,000 miles from new viewing is highly recommended... as is buying! Starting in 1978, the new 3.0 litre 911 SC was the second generation basic 911 model. It was in effect a Carrera 3 (known as a 911S in the United States) detuned to provide 180 bhp. The ‘SC’ designation was reintroduced by Porsche for the first time since the 356 SC as distinguished from the race-engine 356 Carrera. No Carrera versions were produced and the 930 Turbo remained at the top of the range. Porsche's engineers felt that the weight of the extra luxury, safety and emissions equipment on these cars was blunting performance compared to the earlier, lighter cars with the same power output, so in non-US cars, power was increased to 185 hp for 1980, then finally to 201 hp. However, cars sold in the US market retained their lower-compression 180 hp engines throughout. This enabled them to be run on lower-octane fuel but made them less desirable, indeed SC’s sold in the UK could be also specified with a desirable Sport Group Package which added stiffer suspension, the rear spoiler, front rubber lip and black Fuchs wheels. This example of this iconic marque is presented in its original colour of black with cream leather interior and has had only seven previous owners. It comes with a full Porsche service history ( dealer and specialist), current V5 Log book, MoT test certificate valid until March 9th 2025 and its service manual, Owners handbook, drivers manual, maintenance book and its fully Porsche stamped up service book in its original wallet. It also comes with old MoT test certificates and tax discs. The car has been pampered in a dehumidified garage its entire life in storage which is reflected in the paperwork but has been used regularly recently by the present owner. Sitting on its original Fuchs wheels, this Targa Sport is presented in good useable condition and the removable targa top has recently been refurbished. Its current private registration number is being retained by the present owner and a age related registration will be assigned. The Plymouth Road Runner is a muscle car which was produced by Plymouth from 1968 through to 1980. It was a high-performance version of the Plymouth Belvedere and Satellite and was known for its speed and aggressive styling. The Roadrunner was introduced in 1968 as a response to the popular Dodge Charger and was designed to be a more affordable alternative. It was powered by a variety of engines, including a 383 cubic-inch V8 and a 440 cubic-inch V8, which produced up to 390bhp. The Roadrunner was also famous for its distinctive beak-like grille and aggressive body stripes, which gave it a unique and menacing appearance. With its powerful engine and sporty styling, the Plymouth Roadrunner quickly became a popular choice among muscle car enthusiasts and has since become a classic American icon, which is very rarely seen in the UK.This example is specified with the 383 cubic-inch V8 mated to a four-speed manual gearbox and looks excellent in its period burnt orange colour. The car spent a large portion of its life in Texas, where it underwent a restoration in 2003, which has held up particularly well. The paint and chrome both retain an excellent shine and the interior is in very sharp condition too. This Roadrunner was imported into the UK in 2010 by the previous owner, who kept the car until our vendor purchased in it in 2023 and we are told it is a blast to drive, with an amazing soundtrack from the 3” pipes and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. This really is a very rare sight on UK roads and makes a nice change from the more commonly seen muscle cars here. This example is supplied to auction with a V5C registration document and a file with many receipts for work over the years, including a new radiator in 2023. In 2001, three years after the launch of the Rover 75, and less than a year after the demerger of MG Rover from BMW, the MG ZT and MG ZT-T were launched. During the cars' development, the models were codenamed X10 and X11, for the saloon and estate versions, respectively. The basic shape and styling of the MG ZT remained the same as for the Rover 75 but with changes to the front bumper, now with an integrated grille, and detail alterations including colour coding of the chromed waistline, a new boot lid plinth, and different alloy wheels and tyres sizes. During the first few months of 2004, MG Rover facelifted the design of the ZT and ZT-T to a less retro look, at the same time as the Rover 75 received a facelift. This didn't feature much in the way of mechanical differences to the ZT, most changes were merely aesthetic. The main changes to the car included the replacement of the twin headlamps, with a new, clear single headlamp unit. Between 2003 and 2006 the top of the ZT range, and the rarest, was rear wheel drive and powered by the Ford 4601cc V8 engine giving 300bhp, 0-60mph in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 155mph.Originally registered on 16th January 2006 this Rover ZT-T presents well in black with a black interior. These are great cars to drive with endless power available, a relatively unassuming vehicle from the outside, with the only visible feature being the large bore exhausts. However, start the engine and suddenly you become aware of the Ford Mustang 4.6 litre V8 under the bonnet. This is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox making this a true drivers car and one to really enjoy on the open road. Performance is put at 260bhp and 407NM of torque. Manufactured in relatively small numbers, it is thought less than 200 were produced, meaning this could well prove to be a shrewd purchase. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 7th November 2024. A stylish estate car, best described as ‘a wolf in sheeps’ clothing’. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1993, the Ian Callum styled DB7 began production in 1994 at a new factory in Bloxham, Oxfordshire. In 1999, the new DB7 Vantage with a V12 engine was revealed. In 2002, a new variant was launched, named DB7 GT or DB7 GTA when equipped with an automatic transmission. It was essentially an improved version of the Vantage, its V12 engine producing 435bhp. Aesthetically, compared to the Vantage it has a mesh front grille, vents in the bonnet, a boot spoiler, optional carbon fibre trim and new wheels. It also has 14" front and 13" rear vented disc brakes by Brembo. The original Tremac T56 six-speed manual gearbox was uprated with a short-shift lever, additionally a new 228mm diameter twin-plate AP Racing clutch was fitted instead of the 293mm single-plate original which resulted in a 22% lighter pedal effort, along with a shorter final drive to improve acceleration. Production of the GT was extremely limited with only 85 vehicles manufactured for the UK market. Limited numbers and Ian Callum’s sleek and purposeful design combined to produce a sporting tourer that has bucked the DB7 collecting curve and good examples are now highly desirable. This particular example is a hugely desirable GT, fitted with the manual gearbox, and is surely one of the very best examples out there. The car presents in immaculate order, its black coachwork is gleaming and the black interior is virtually unmarked. The car recently won its class at the Aston Martin Owner’s Club concours event at Sandringham House, which is about enough reassurance of the condition as anyone could possibly ask for. This is an extremely rare car, with only 85 examples built for the UK market, this example is one for the collector, having covered just 23,600 miles. The car has a comprehensive service history and is coming from an owner who is very meticulous and ensures his cars are always kept in top condition. The car is supplied to auction with a V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until March 2025 and a comprehensive history file. The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth is a performance-oriented version of the Sierra family car produced by Ford Europe in the mid-1980s. The car was developed by Ford's motorsport division, which aimed to create a high-performance vehicle that could compete in rallies and racing. The Sierra RS Cosworth was equipped with a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine that produced 204 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque, making it one of the fastest cars of its time. The car was also fitted with a four-wheel-drive system and a limited-slip differential, which helped to improve its handling and traction on both road and track. The exterior of the Sierra RS Cosworth was designed with aerodynamics in mind, featuring a distinctive front grille, a large rear spoiler, and wider wheel arches to accommodate its wider track. Inside, the car was fitted with Recaro bucket seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, as well as a range of gauges and dials to monitor the car's performance. The Sierra RS Cosworth proved to be a successful rally car, winning several championships and races throughout the 1980s and 1990’s.This excellent and very original 1986 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth is finished in the classic Ford colour scheme of white with grey cloth interior, both of which are in very good condition, with the wheels recently being refurbished. This lovely example is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires on 16th November 2024, owner’s handbook, audio operating manual, service book and a considerable amount of invoices showing maintenance over the years and past MoT test certificates. Today, it remains a popular choice amongst car enthusiasts and collectors, thanks to its striking design, impressive performance and rich motorsport heritage. The Land Rover Defender was developed in the 1980’s from the original Land Rover series that was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in April 1948. This four-wheel drive vehicle was the British equivalent of the American Willys Jeep. Built using a steel ladder chassis and aluminium bodywork the Defender gained a worldwide reputation for ruggedness and versatility. This handsome example retains the ever-popular looks of the best 4x4 by far but those looks hide some serious engineering upgrades. Marque specialists Overfinch fitted, at some significant cost, a 5.7 litre Chevrolet engine which is matched to an automatic gearbox. This is quite some change from the smaller engine and manual gearbox it replaced. A Kenwood stereo system which features Apple play is fitted and helps bring this Land Rover up to date. The car presents well in Violet grey coachwork and a Limestone roof which is complemented by painted alloy wheels and is fitted with an undersill protector and upgraded grille and lights. In January 2023 this impressive Land Rover benefitted from £8,000 of service work by respected specialists Nene Overland. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until March 2025. This rare Defender is realistically estimated and ready to be enjoyed by a new custodian. The "Heritage" edition first released in 1998 intended to hark back to the early days of Land Rover in the 1940s. Available in 90 or 110 variants, the Heritage was only available in the two original colours offered by the company: the dark bronze green and the light pastel Atlantic green. A metal mesh-effect front grille, body-coloured alloy wheels and wing mirrors and silver-painted door and windscreen hinges were all employed to make the Heritage look similar to the original Series I of 1948. Inside, special instruments were used, with black-on-beige displays. The powertrain was the standard Td5 diesel engine and five-speed manual transmission. In 1998, the Defender was fitted with an all-new 2.5-litre, five-cylinder in-line turbodiesel engine, badged the Td5. The Tdi could not meet upcoming Euro III emissions regulations so the Td5 replaced the Tdi the engine used electronic control systems and produced 122 hp, 11 hp more than the Tdi, with improved refinement. For the 2002 model year, further refinements were made to the Td5 engine to help it achieve ever-more stringent emission regulations, the later uprated 2002 TD5 engine a rarity in the later Heritage editions. We believe just 270 Heritage Editions were built for the Defender’s 50th anniversary. This one of a kind Heritage Anniversary Edition (HUE 166) is presented in Grasmere green paintwork with body colour wheel arches, Alaska White roof and HUE 166 graphics. Inside, there are more updated references to the original Land Rovers including OEM Almond cloth seats with HUE tags, a Grasmere Green facia with the iconic 4x4 advice plaque, and special chrome gear sticks. We are led to believe by the vendor’s research that this was the only TD5 Heritage Edition model in 90 body style and the later TD5 post 2002 engine. Specified with Heritage logo mudflaps and floor mats, bright aluminium finish clock and air vent bezels, interior door handles and door locks, leather gear knob and handbrake lever. Modifications to the car include an Alive stage two ECU upgrade plus EGR delete with stronger gear box and torque converter with Ashford transmission (Engine710 developed). The turbo unit and gasket have new injectors and the new 18" colour coded wheels sit on replaced suspension all round and are complimented by a Slickshift replaced clutch and flywheel. The locks have all been changed and now operate off one key and an alarm and a new Pioneer 7200 DAB Double DIN radio was fitted. The car was treated to Dynamat upgraded sound deadening. Removable Motolita Steering wheel and a plethora of interior upgrades in chrome to make the cabin not only traditional but with a modern twist. The car has a comprehensive service history and MoT certificate valid until March 2025. A rare and subtly upgraded limited edition of the iconic defender that will surely be a great investment for years to come. The original Mini is considered a British icon of the 1960s and its space saving front wheel layout allowing 80% of the cars floorplan to be used for passengers and luggage, influenced a generation of car makers. In 1999, the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century behind the Ford model T. Initially Minis were marketed under the Austin and Morris names until Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969. The Mini was again marketed under the Austin name in the 1980s and was offered in a number of limited editions that usually included a special combination of trim and badging. This example is presented in metallic British Racing Green with cream leather interior with a walnut dash and door cappings. It comes with a Webasto electric sunroof, two original keys, very good history file including some photos of various works carried out previously, its book pack with service book and owner’s manual, drivers manual and radio operation manual. This Mini also comes with lots of history/paperwork with a pictorial history of all restoration work carried out. These little ‘pocket rockets’ are great fun to drive, being powered by its lively 1275 engine and with its comfortable leather seats and sunroof, makes this a practical classic which is economical to run and enjoyable to drive. We are delighted to offer this amazing electric 911 with manual transmission, which has been built by leading marque specialists Rindt Vehicle Design. This rare example presents in period correct Rubystone Red with a contrasting leather trim and gold wheel rims. This work was undertaken by the experienced and talented in-house team at Rindt. Power is supplied by two Netgain twin Hyper 9D brushless electric motors. These are linked by a drive belt and we are informed, produces 250 bhp and delivers 346lb -ft torque. The weight of the batteries is cleverly distributed across the strengthened body of this 911 making handling a joy, especially as it is linked to the multi adjustable suspension. Even the conventional dials have been repurposed with the fuel gauge now showing battery power and the oil temperature gauge is now battery temperature. In a recent test drive, Classic Porsche magazine described this car as the EV with the most character of the ones they had driven. They also said that it accelerated ‘like a bullet out of a gun’ and that ‘It is clear that Rindt’s work to retain this Rubystone example’s inherent factory spirit has paid dividends with vastly improved handling, power and traction’. The absence of engine noise is made up for with the scream of drive belts and sets this example streets ahead of other silent EV’s. Viewing is highly recommended for any interested parties to see the quality of the work on this extremely rare car. Consigned by Dominic Lake
Purchased new through Datsun Broadwater Limited on 1st August 1976 by its one and only vendor, a Mr M Willis of Burgess Hill, West Sussex this wonderfully original right hand drive UK supplied, Datsun 260Z is offered to the market for the first time since new! Following the owners purchase the Datsun was driven back to Sussex where it has resided ever since. Dry stored in the vendors small private collection, the Datsun was enjoyed as intended until circa 1990 where it was used less regularly and in 2022 the decision was made to recommission the 260Z ready for further road use. The works of which were undertaken by Datsun specialists, Fourways Engineering, Kent. The comprehensive recommissioning included renewal of the brakes, a major service, rebuild carburettors, remove and machine the cylinder head, replace inlet valves and valve guides, replace various bushes and bearings, and prepare for an MoT, the final cost totalling £10,381.35. Since then, the Datsun has been treated to further maintenance by Fourways including a service in 2022 at a cost of £368, and further work in January 2024 costing £532.Offered in its original colour combination of silver paintwork over a black interior, the Datsun remains extremely original having covered a mere 37,231 miles from new. The paintwork is generally very good with few minor blemishes and the interior and engine bay are in very good order. The underside is too in very good condition having received a ‘Full Zeibart’ from new, as the original sales invoice confirms. The history file that accompanies the car includes the original warranty and service booklet, the original owner’s manual, original Datsun 260Z sales brochures and the original sales invoice from Datsun Broadwater Limited. Also included is the original Datsun toolkit which appears to be unused. Additionally, the history file contains a sizeable MoT record and the current registration document. Interested parties should note that the registration document has previously been changed into the vendors partners name and back on two occasions which is documented on the HPI report, however, we can confirm that this is a one owner example from the exhaustive paperwork and having been kept in the same garage from new! The frightening price and complexity of Ferrari classic 12-cylinder sportscars has often proved a barrier to the dream of Prancing Horse ownership. The advent of the Dino followed by the stunning Fiorvanti designed 308 changed all this. Not only did it begin to generate a loyal Ferrari client base, but it also proved to be a steppingstone to larger, more expensive models. The high revving, double overhead camshaft, V8 unit immediately behind the driver enrobed by stunning coachwork has proved an intoxicating recipe upon its launch and is highly desired still. This 1979 registered Ferrari was originally registered in the US. and was registered with the DVLA in 2015.Finished in silver with red interior, the paintwork needs refreshing although the car is perfectly useable as it is. The Lotus Carlton was a Vauxhall Carlton upgraded by Lotus Cars to be a 177mph sports saloon with acceleration equal to contemporary supercars. When released, it was the fastest four-door saloon car in the world. The external differences were minimal with the addition of a rear spoiler, air intakes on the bonnet, Lotus badges on the front wings and bootlid, a bodykit and considerably wider wheel arches. The car was only sold in one colour, a shade of British Racing Green called Imperial Green, a very dark green that in anything but direct light appears black.Lotus re-worked the 2969cc, 24V straight-six used in the Carlton GSi and bored it out to 3615cc. In addition, twin Garrett T25 turbochargers were attached resulting in 377bhp and torque at 419lb/ft. Power was transmitted through a six-speed ZF manual gearbox and power was driven to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. The brakes were supplied by AP with 330mm ventilated discs all round and racing callipers.First registered on the 18th March 1992 this truly stunning example of the ultra-collectable 90’s super salon is presented in unmarked Imperial Green with contrasting luxury black full leather. Our vendor always dreamt that his dad would turn up from work in a Lotus Carlton when he was younger but having not experienced it as a child, when the opportunity to purchase his own in 2013 arose he jumped at the chance. The car he purchased in 2013 was a indeed a very good example, just four previous owners with documentation back to when new and in 1996 at 49,478 miles had benefitted from a brand new replacement engine under warranty, which is documented as the last Lotus crate engine in existence, therefore the last-ever factory Lotus re-worked 2969cc, 24V straight-six engine is fitted to this very car.Although happy with his pride and joy, in 2022 he decided to contact his local trusted Bodyshop to tidy up a few aspects, this brought what eventually became an unplanned, comprehensive and frankly breathtaking cosmetic restoration. The car was treated to any necessary work to sills and underside before all nuts and bots were replaced and treated before being fully photographed and then undersealed. Then the body, initially planned to rectify any areas in need, our vendor decided to strike a deal with The Bodycentre, Norwich and they could showcase this car for their work… and boy did that pay dividends, where some body shops would take the route of least resistance The Bodycentre took the philosophy that this was their opportunity to demonstrate the highest level of workmanship, indeed three days alone were taken on one wheel arch to ensure the work was exactly as it would have been from new before replicating it on others. It was handy that another original Lotus Carlton was already in the bodyshop, so no stranger to the cars they could make sure all necessary details were seen to. The fit and finish of the panels and even the body kit is exemplary, the finish being part of the reason our vendor is selling ‘it’s just too good that now I’m worried about driving it and getting even a stone chip’.The car is no trailer queen… yet, recent mechanical works include full brake rebuild front and rear with refurbished calipers, new discs, new pads and new hoses all round, fully powder coated and rebushed suspension, new OE wheel bearings all round, new ball joints and new steering control arms and the car performs impeccably and remains garaged between short trips. The interior wasn’t left out of the works, the headlining and A pillars all retrimmed to sustain the ‘fresh’ feel and as original by an original Lotus factory trimmer, which compliments the original stereo and leather trim which feels like it has done ½ the 76,941 miles on the odometer, even the optional over mats feel fresh and are a nod to the sheer opulence of this car when it was new. On that note, the car is completely standard and incredibly original with all work completed as such, the original unused spare is in the boot alongside the unused medical kit and of course the car is complemented by a comprehensive from day-one history file including full book pack and various dealer booklets and magazines of the day. Never intended to be such a comprehensive restoration project, with the plan to simply tidy the car up, our vendor has for want of a better word ‘shot himself in the foot’ striving for perfection he has created one of the best if not the best example on the market, as new yet drivable, boasting the last Lotus re-worked straight-six and with provenance that cannot be replicated, viewing is imperative to appreciate the opportunity to collectors and enthusiasts alike. The 996 was another step forward for Porsche, making cars that not only excited their fan base but appealed to those who wanted a comfortable and practical everyday sports car that could sprint to 60mph in a shade over five seconds.Originally presented in Ocean Blue over the Natural Dark Grey interior, however, this car was an exhibit at the recent 2024 Art Trail Event and was painted by a well-known Artist, printmaker and sculptor, named Penfold (aka Tim Gresham) who has collaborated with brands including Disney, Nike and other famous brands (this can be seen featured on Instagram Type-7). The car was painted following the blue Porsche being taken back to prima leaving a blank canvass for the artist. It was sprayed with cans externally over 3 days and was finished with a full lacquer paint back in the paintshop oven. Penfolds work is based on the fashionable Miami Wynwood District use of 1970’s colours which make this Porsche 996 manual gearbox, a one-off car. It is perfect for those who have an interest in art, use of pastel colours and uniqueness. Featuring the six-cylinder 3.4L engine which produces 296bhp and can achieve a 4.8 second 0-60 time, which are still impressive numbers to this day. It has the sought-after six-speed manual gearbox and has the benefit of permanent four-wheel drive. This example is a very good handling car and has plenty of traction thanks to its four-wheel drive system. It sits on its gloss black 17’’ Carrera 4 wheels which have recently been refurbished and all four tyres are new. Other fitted extras include air-conditioning, sunroof and factory fitted rear parking sensor. This 911 has been treated to a Dansk exhaust system which sounds lovely and there's a switch on the centre dash which can be used to switch between normal and the loud setting. Included is a large folder of invoices for servicing and many replacement parts, MoTs, original bill of sale and a spare key. The bulk of servicing was carried out by the suppling dealer Porsche, Glenvarigill Company Ltd from 1999 to 2009. Since 2009, the car has recorded just 8,000 miles and was last serviced by CRM Motors in Lanark in 2019 at 48,290 miles and we are also informed that there are no known IMS bearing issues. A striking example which will certainly turn heads and great to have something so unique and with no reserve which makes it all the more desirable. Like the Triumph 2000 it was developed from, the Triumph Stag it was styled by Italian maestro Giovanni Michelotti and featured the monocoque construction, independent suspension, disc/drum brakes, power-assisted rack and the pinion steering and driveline of that saloon. All Stags were four-seater convertible coupés but for structural rigidity and to meet new American rollover standards at the time, the Stag required a B-pillar 'roll bar' hoop connected to the windscreen frame by a T-bar. The power plant though, was an all-new OHC, V8 of 3000cc capacity fed by a pair of Stromberg carburettors and the newcomer received a warm reception at the time of launch in 1970, although longevity of the engine proved to be a problem. Most Stags were fitted with a Borg Warner automatic gearbox together with electric windows, power steering and power-assisted brakes fitted as standard. Very desirable, the Stag is well supported through various clubs and specialist suppliers. This excellent 1972 Triumph Stag, with a manual gearbox and overdrive, was the subject of a body restoration and repaint in 2019. Purchased by the current owner in 2022, who set about to make this Stag the best he could. The car was sent to a classic car specialist who located and restored a hardtop for the car, they then stripped out the interior and replaced the seat covers and cleaned and painted anything that required it in the interior. The mechanics of the car were gone through to make sure that it runs and drives as it should. The cost of all this work came to over £12,000. Finished in white with a white hardtop and black interior, this loverly Triumph Stag is supplied with a V5 registration document and a file containing invoices for the recent work carried out, photographs from the previous restorations and old MoT test certificates. Following the launch of the 911/996, Porsche launched the GT3, the first 996 variant intended for the racetrack. Its 3.6 litre engine was derived from the GT1 and delivered 360bhp at 7,200rpm, offering 60 additional horsepower over the base 3.4 litre motor in the standard Carrera. It was also fitted with adjustable suspension and a unique body kit, including a dual-plane rear wing. The interior featured sports seats, whilst some of the interior trim was removed to keep weight down. Porsche also built a track only version of the GT3, dubbed the GT3 Club Sport. Only a handful of differences can be noted in comparison to the GT3, including the fitment of a full roll cage and a Nomex covered driver’s seat with side airbags omitted. Whilst not generally intended for daily driving, this edition was track-ready in every aspect and able to compete in a number of racing series worldwide.First registered on 30th June 2003, the fantastic Gen.II 996 GT3 on offer here is a UK market C16 car that was specified with the desirable Club Sport package. Including more track focused elements such as fixed back bucket seats, roll cage, fire extinguisher and the removal of the side airbags. Considered the most desirable specification, the car presents beautifully in the classic Porsche colour of Arctic Silver. The 3596cc six-cylinder engine sounds delightful and mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, this Porsche certainly travels with alacrity. Owned by a Porsche enthusiast, this very low mileage example comes with a significant amount of invoices including from Porsche Brooklands, as well as highly regarded specialists such as Ninemeister, Millbrooke and BS Motorsport. The vendor reports the car to run and drive extremely well and will be sorry to see it go having been its custodian for the past 11 years. Sadly, working abroad has meant he has had little opportunity to use this wonderful car. The Bentley Mulsanne is named after the Mulsanne Straight of the Le Mans racing circuit, Bentley cars having won six victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the past. The Maserati 3200 GT was styled by Italdesign whose founder and head, Giorgetto Giugiaro, previously designed, amongst others, the Ghibli, Bora and Merak and so certainly had the pedigree behind him. Sold mainly in Europe, the 3200GT shared the twin-turbo 3.2 litre, V8 featured in the Quattroporte and Shamal, revised and tuned to 365BHP. The taillights consisted of LEDs arranged in the shape of a boomerang. The outer layer of the 'boomerang' provided the brake light, with the inner layer providing the directional indicator. In the spring of 1960, a Giardiniera (gardener) estate had been added to the 500 range. Built on a four-inch longer wheelbase than the other model produced, the Giardiniera featured a single side-hinged rear door and carried its engine horizontally beneath the rear load platform, thus increasing available luggage space. Testing a Giardiniera in 1961, Autocar magazine was mightily impressed by FIAT’s new baby: ‘The Italians match their affinity with micro-motoring to a happy flair for making little cars really well, and within the limitations of its body dimensions and engine power the Giardiniera is a real masterpiece.’ The miniature estate was found capable of carrying four adults and 2.5cwt of luggage (alternatively, one adult and 4cwt) while returning an impressive 46.8mpg over 1,000 miles. From the spring of 1968 Giardiniera production was transferred to Autobianchi and finally ceased in 1977.This lovely, restored example was first registered in January 1970 in Italy and is finished in its original colour of white with black vinyl trim. It should be noted that it has had the IMS bearing attended to therefore giving the new owner peace of mind. Nevertheless, it went on to be a great success until 2007 with the boomerang rear lights being the more desirable. This example was originally supplied by JCT600 Maserati of Leeds in September 2000 and is presented in the classic colour combination of metallic silver with a black leather interior and was specified from new with the optional automatic gearbox. The car has covered a remarkably low mileage of just 44,766 and the overall condition of the car is particularly impressive. The car’s service history is comprehensive up to 44,480 miles, in 2018, with the car covering under 500 miles since. The car is supplied to auction with its owner’s manual and service book containing a record of 16 services, from a mixture of main agents and independent garages. Also included with the car is a V5C registration document and MoT test certificate valid until April 2025. The fuse has also been removed for the indicators as the hazard light switch need to be replaced and the hazards were constantly on. JUST 44K MILES
Following the legendary NA1 and NA2 Honda NSX’s, built between 1990 and 2005, would be no mean feat, but the third generation NSX was something quite revolutionary. The idea of a petrol hybrid attainable supercar was quite unheard of when the NSX launched in 2016, with the NSX being uniquely powered by a 3.5-litre twin turbocharged V6 engine and three electric motors, with two powering the front axle and a third nestled between the engine and gearbox. This combination would be good for 573bhp and propel the NSX from 0-62mph in just 2.9 seconds and all of the way on to a top speed of 191mph. Just 150 cars were allocated to the UK, making the third generation NSX an extremely rare site on our roads. This example was specified in silver with a black interior and polished wheels, which is a very classy specification and shows off the lines of the NSX perfectly. With just one previous registered keeper and less than 500 miles from new, this is a collector quality example. The car comes complete with its owner’s books and service manual, showing regular main dealer servicing and the car has been freshly serviced by Honda prior to the sale. Supplied to auction with a V5C registration certificate and MoT test certificate valid until June 2025. The Lancia Fulvia was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1963 with production running all the way through to 1976. Fulvia’s are notable for their role in motor racing history, including winning the International Rally Championship in 1972. On testing it in 1967, Road and Track summed up the Fulvia as ‘a precision motorcar, an engineering tour de force’. The Fulvia Berlina was designed by Antonio Fessia to replace the Lancia Appia with which it shared almost no components. The Appia was a rear wheel drive car, however, the Fulvia moved to front wheel drive like the Flavia. The general engineering design of the Fulvia was identical to that of the Flavia with the major exception of the engine, the Flavia having a four cylinder horizontally opposed engine and the Fulvia a 'narrow angle' vee configuration as featured on most production Lancia’s. The Fulvia used a longitudinal engine mounted in front of its transaxle. An independent suspension in front, used wishbones and a single leaf spring, while a solid axle with a panhard rod and leaf springs were used in the rear. Four-wheel Dunlop disc brakes were fitted to first series Fulvia’s. With the introduction of the second series in 1970, the brakes were uprated with larger Girling calipers all round and a brake servo.First registered on 1st March 1976, this wonderfully original Fulvia has enjoyed a pampered life in recent years. The vendor purchased the car from Historics in 2021, previously being owned by multiple classic car collectors. Presented in its original colour of Lancia Blue, the car benefitted from a respray around 18 years ago. The paint has aged well and presents in good order. The cream interior is also clean and shows little signs of wear. Ziebart rust proofed from new the Fulvia benefits from an electric fuel pump and stainless steel exhaust. During the vendors ownership the Lancia has been looked after and maintained by Lancia Specialists, Omicron Engineering with a total of circa £4,600 spent including recent brake caliper overhaul and MoT until June 2025. Supplied with a V5C registration document, large history file and a workshop manual. The BMW M3 is one of the most iconic sports cars of all time. The vehicle first entered production in 1986 and quickly became known for its high performance and excellent driving dynamics. The E46 generation of M3s was produced from 2000 to 2006 and was the third generation of the M3. The E46 generation was powered by the legendary S54 3.2 litre inline six-cylinder engine, which produced 343bhp and could boast a redline of 8000rpm. This power was sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, or the optional SMG semi automatic. The E46 M3 was also equipped with several performance features, including a limited-slip differential, larger brakes and improved suspension. The E46 M3 was praised for its handling and power, and it is still considered to be one of the best M3s ever made. This example is presented in Carbon Black with an Imola Red interior and was originally supplied by Jacksons BMW Jersey in 2005, who serviced the car up until 2010, by which point it had covered less than 13,000 miles. Being a Jersey car, this example has covered very low mileage, compared to most other M3’s on the market, having covered less than 49,000 miles in its 19-year lifetime. The UK Taxes have been paid for the car, so all that’s left to do, is to apply for a V5C registration document for the new owner. The most recent service undertaken was in July 2023, the engine and diff oil were changed, a new rear spring was fitted, rear lower control arm bushes were replaced, and a new steering angle sensor was fitted. The history file contains all original manuals and the service book showing the important running in service was carried out by Jacksons in September 2005 and a further four services by them. The car has then regularly been serviced by independent garages and specialists and presents in excellent condition today. The Triumph TR3 was built between 1955 and 1957 and was powered by a 1991cc engine which initially produced 95bhp increasing to 100bhp at 5000rpm. The four-speed manual transmission could be supplemented by an overdrive unit on the top three ratios electrically operated and controlled by a switch on the dashboard. In 1956, the front brakes changed from drum to disc becoming the first British series production car to be so fitted. Because of these disc brakes, the TR3 and subsequent TR3A's became known for their superior braking ability making it an autocross favourite. In 1957, the TR3 was replaced by an updated version, the TR3A, which included new wide front grille, exterior door handles, lockable boot handle and came with a full toolkit as standard, although the TR3A's still retained the 1991cc engine.Completed on 3rd September 1958, this TR3A was built in left-hand specification and destined for Canada. Ordered in Signal red with black interior along with the optional extras of a heater and 590 tyres better suited for the colder climate. Believed to have been imported around 1990, the owner had intended to restore the car himself but sadly died in the late 1990’s. Having been in storage for almost 20 years, the car was bought by Mr. Malcolm Harrison on 16th June 2017 who set about restoring the car to its original colour from the ground up to the lovely vehicle we see here. The accompanying photos show the body removed from the chassis with the various repairs carried out. The body was given a bare metal respray as well and the car having a full “Polybush” kit fitted along with Aeroquip brake hoses, rebuilt brakes, rebuilt differential and a full rewire. Under the vendor’s ownership Minilite type wheels have been fitted and the engine fettled and fine tuned further. He reports the car to run and drive very well with the overdrive gearbox engaging and disengaging seamlessly.Supplied with a UK V5C registration document, BMI Heritage Certificate and a file of receipts. The first generation of the BMW 3 Series (E21), was produced from 1975 to 1983. It marked a pivotal moment for BMW, setting the foundation for what would become one of the brand's most successful and enduring model lines. Introduced as a successor to the BMW 2002, the E21 offered a blend of sporty performance and everyday usability, catering to a growing market for compact luxury saloons. The E21 featured a range of inline-four and inline-six engines, which provided a balance of efficiency and power. Its design, characterized by the iconic kidney grille and a sleek, minimalist profile, was the work of Paul Bracq and Manfred Rennen. The E21 also pioneered the use of the driver's-focused cockpit layout, a hallmark of BMW interiors. Throughout its production run, the E21 earned acclaim for its handling dynamics and build quality, solidifying BMW's reputation for producing driver-oriented cars and setting the stage for the successive generations of the 3 Series.Originally registered on 10th May 1982 this BMW presents very well in Savanna Beige with Nylonbraun cloth interior. Owned by a private collector, he put the car into Munich Legends in February 2023 and spent £5,509 ensuring this six-cylinder BMW is kept to a very high standard. Work included replacing front and rear shock absorbers, rebuilding of the brake calipers, converting the rear brakes to disc brakes and four new tyres. Without doubt these are great cars, the 1990cc engine providing ample power and the manual gearbox makes this a real fun car to drive. The fastidious vendor has clearly ensured the car is maintained to a high standard and the bodywork, together with the interior trim is in commensurate condition to the rest of the car. The Alvis 3.0 Litre TD21 was a British sports saloon or coupé manufactured in Coventry between the end of 1958 and October 1963. The body was made by Park Ward who were better able to supply them to the quantity, quality, and price required. The cars were slightly taller, and a drophead coupé was added to the range. The 2993 cc engine was again uprated, now producing 115 bhp mainly by an improved cylinder head and increasing the compression ratio from 8.0:1 to 8.5:1. A new four-speed gearbox from the Austin Healey appeared and Borg Warner three-speed automatic transmission was offered. Overdrive was available on the manual transmission from late 1960 to 1962. Wire spoked wheels became an option. From 1959 the all-drum brake set up was changed to discs at the front retaining drums at the rear.Delivered new on the 19th July 1961, this "Gentleman's Express" slotted in neatly between the sporty Astons and the more genteel Bentleys. “NBF 771” was subject to a full body-off restoration in 2012. This included restoring and sealing the chassis, a new coat of paint in a very sophisticated shade of Bronze, and a re-trim in the Connolly tan leather. In 2015 the car was treated to a new Tremec T5 manual five-speed gearbox, propshaft, and sundry items at a cost of £4,814.40. The current vendor bought the car eight years ago and other than having seat belts fitted, the car has been used very sparingly having covered less than 500 miles during his ownership. Despite not being required the vendor has had the car MoT’d every year proving how well this car has been cared for, the current certificate being valid until end of May 2025. A welcome addition to any stable and ready to be enjoyed by its next owner this lovely car comes with a large history file and current V5C. The MR2 derived from a 1976 Toyota design project with the goal of a car which would be enjoyable to drive, yet still provide good fuel economy – not necessarily a sports car. Design work began in 1979 when Akio Yoshida from Toyota's testing department started to evaluate alternatives for engine placement and drive method, finalizing a mid-transverse engine placement. Toyota called the 1981 prototype SA-X. From its original design, the car evolved into a sports car, and further prototypes were tested both in Japan and in the US. Significant testing was performed on race circuits including Willow Springs, where former Formula One driver Dan Gurney tested the car.The third-generation MR2 was marketed as the Toyota MR-S in Japan, Toyota MR2 Spyder in the US and Australia, and the Toyota MR2 Roadster in Europe, except for France and Belgium, where it was marketed as the Toyota MR Roadster. This superb little Japanese sports car is presented in red with black leather interior. It comes with full black Toyota branded sport leather trim, black carpets, remote central locking, power steering, electric windows, manual hood, air conditioning and a CD player. This was a UK car but has spent sometime in Guernsey hence its very low mileage of just over 20,000 miles, which is also reflected in its general condition. Its lively 1800 engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. These are fun, sporty and practical which suits our UK roads perfectly but just as at home on longer tours.
