A 1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 5.3 Litre 2+2 Coupe Registration No: RLJ 638M Chassis No: 1S52020BW Engine No: 7S 12965 SA Finished in Signal Red, a desirable manual transmission model with sunroof, this car was first registered on 25th September 1973. By 1981 the car was in the ownership of a Mr Alaman of Maidenhead. In February 1982 the car had covered 42,917 miles and was subject to a respray, engine and gearbox overhaul at a cost of £3,356. By July 1986 the car was in the ownership of a Mr Hinton of Poole. In his ownership the car was maintained by Jaguar Specialists, Marina Garage Ltd of Bournemouth. Commencing in February 1988 the car was subject to a bare metal respray and extensive mechanical overhaul, completed in March 1989 at a cost exceeding £14,000, the mileage at this time is recorded as 51,095.
