TO BE SOLD AT 12.00 O'CLOCK MIDDAY. 1973 Volkswagen 181/182 'Trekker', reg. no. TLW 261M, 1585ccs, 4 cylinder, manual transmission. This buggy type two wheel drive convertible is of a type originally developed for the German Army. It shared components with the MK I VW Beetle, with the floorplan from the Type I Karmann Ghia, and was a development from the World War II military 'Kubelwagen'. It was produced and marketed around the World under different names. This particular example has been in one ownership since 1975 with only one previous registered keeper. Used in London for many years, the vendor is now local and selling the car due to impending house move and lack of use. The car is not running, having been laid up for a long period but appears near complete, in solid, restorable condition. It is sold without reserve, with no warranty or guarantee of any kind. Includes various keys, V5 and V5c(w) documents and instruction manual. CONDITION REPORT: Doors, Screen and hood there appears near complete but not guaranteed in any way. MOT not known.
