Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, ca. 664-30 BC.This ushabti of its characteristic mummiform style stands atop a petite and flat base. The hands are elegantly folded across the chest, firmly grasping agricultural tools. The meticulously crafted head showcases intricate details, including a wig. Notably, the reverse side remains unadorned, exhibiting a flat and unworked surface. Ushabtis, derived from the ancient Egyptian term "swabty" signifying "answerer," were miniature figurines with profound funerary significance. Customarily positioned within tombs, often in large quantities, these ushabtis played an integral role in the burial practices and belief systems of ancient Egypt. Their purpose was to serve their deceased owners in the realm of the afterlife, with the prevailing belief that they would spring to life and undertake various manual labor and tasks on behalf of the departed. 2010 Audi R8 Spyder Quattro V10 Transmission: manualMileage:46200In 2006, Audi offered a new concept; a well-engineered, relatively practical, mid-engine, high performance sports coupé. Customers must have liked the idea, as the R8 is still in production 17-years later. With a choice of coupés and convertibles, V8 and V10 engines and manual and automatic gearboxes, the car, which was based on the platform of the Lamborghini Gallardo, has sold well across the globe. This example was registered new on 29th July 2010 and has covered circa 46,200 miles from new. Presented in metallic silver coachwork over a black leather interior the condition throughout is very good and looks superb with the top down. Offered with an extensive service history from new, the R8 is presented in a very high specification. Included is the desirable 6-speed manual with aluminium gear selector gate, Spyder electric folding Mohair hood and 19 inch, 10-spoke, Y-design alloy wheels and a Brooke racing exhaust. Needless to say, this superb looking example sounds fantastic when on song and runs and drives very well indeed. Offered with a very attractive estimate this is an opportunity not to be missed.

1973 Volkswagen Manx Beach Buggy Evocation Transmission: manualMileage:Bruce Meyers is quoted as saying, "I'm an artist and I wanted to bring a sense of movement and gesture to the Manx. Dune buggies have a message, fun. They're playful to drive and should look like it. Nothing did at the time."Sure enough, using a basic Volkswagen chassis and engine, this radical design concept proved an instant hit both in the US and then, later, in Europe. This wonderful example of a Manx Evocation looks superb in striking orange coachwork over a recently re-trimmed black interior, it is a (useful) four-seater with comfortable bucket seats to the front. Running and driving very well with a recent MoT test certificate, this Manx evocation looks outstanding and sits proudly on a set of replica polished Porsche Fuchs wheels.Fitted with a 1300cc engine bored out 1650cc offering spirited driving between the dunes and a good turn of power. This buggy has been serviced recently and is offered with a number of old MoT test certificates and a current V5C registration document. These are generating much interest at the moment so get ahead of the crowd.Guide Price £11,000 - £16,000

1963 Heinkel Trojan Transmission: automaticMileage:28534The cars were built in Croydon UK by Trojan to the design of the Heinkel Kabine and using the reliable Heinkel four-stroke 198 cc engine. The car was advertised as having a top speed of 56mph and achieving 95mph but probably not both at the same time! The design was inspired by the original Italian Isetta but is much lighter and the steering wheel is in a fixed position. This rare four-wheel version was built in 1963 and registered in April of that year (60 years ago) for export to Holland and was repatriated in 2015 by the previous owner on the grounds of 'significant historical interest'. It is registered with the DVLA as an Historic Vehicle so MoT and Tax (payment) exempt. The car was confirmed as genuine and original by the Heinkel Trojan Archive Trust in May 2016. Certificate provided. The body had an earlier restoration and the paintwork is still in good condition with a couple of small dents which are difficult to see in most lighting conditions. The plexiglass (acrylic) windows were replaced in May 2023 and as this is a pre-1964 model the quarterlights (and windscreen) are real glass.Continuous restoration and maintenance from 2015 of the mechanical side include replacement clutch, braking system including new wheel cylinders and copper pipework, wheel bearings, king pins, axle-crank bearings, rebuilt front shock-absorbers, engine mounts, five tyres, silencer and battery (2022).The interior was completely refurbished in 2022 using the original fittings and looks great in tartan, the wiring is in good condition and the exterior chrome-work is good but there is some minor pitting. The excellent Heinkel Trojan Club in the UK supplies reasonably priced new and used parts to keep the car on the road. You will also find a friendly welcome at the HTC and regional microcar events.Documentation includes Heinkel Trojan Trust Certificate, V5C registration document, original owner's manual, illustrated Trojan Parts List, Workshop Manual, Heinkel Trojan Club's Members Handbook (130p), back issues of HTC Review and numerous receipts. Also included are the registration mark 'TRO 376', a fitted Pro-Tec rain cover, the stainless-steel rear luggage rack fitted without drilling additional holes, an original style scissor-jack and a spare wheel under the adjustable front seat. The car successfully completed the Classic London to Brighton (and back...150 miles) in 2017 and has taken part in a number of national and local events. It won the 'Second most desired Heinkel Trojan' at the National MicroCar Rally in 2019 - before the interior was refurbished. The heater pipe is currently sealed at the bulkhead due to past experience with exhaust derived heaters but the mechanism around the head is all in place for possible reconnection. A fun and striking car which brings smiles to all that glance over it.Interested parties should be aware that the Trojan runs and drives but the cable needs looking at for smoother gear selection.

2004 Aston Martin Vanquish to S-Specification Transmission: automaticMileage:19700The Vanquish is widely accepted as being one of the most important cars developed by Aston Martin and heavily influenced the direction of the company's line-up of sports cars in recent times. So much so, in fact, that the Newport Pagnell factory underwent an extensive refurbishment to accommodate it, gaining a new assembly line, paint shop, rolling road and water test facility. The genius that is Ian Callum, who developed the DB7, then turned his attention on the new Vanquish using a bonded aluminium tub as the core as well as carbon fibre struts welded to the backbone. All new engine management systems were used with drive-by-wire throttle control and a six-speed manual gearbox with an electro-hydraulic change mechanism matched to a hugely powerful six litre, V12 powerplant. It was an instant success and was the obvious choice for the nation's favourite secret agent. Sadly, it was the last Aston Martin to be built at Newport Pagnell with all future cars moving to Gaydon and using more production line-based build systems. The near-perfect and bespoke example offered here today was ordered at the Park Lane showrooms of Aston Martin by a gentleman from Surrey and registered in March 2004. It was fully equipped with all the latest extras including Connolly leather and Wilton carpeting throughout costing the princely sum of £165,000. The car presents with a full service history with, notably, a new and uprated 'S' clutch fitted in 2013. The mileage at that time was 15,683 however, the vehicle had very little use since that time as it changed hands to the present owner in March 2014 with the mileage showing just 15,753. During the current ownership it has been looked after regardless of cost and always serviced by accredited Aston Martin specialists and with the full-service history maintained. The current mileage is still only 19,700 so, amazingly, this has been kept and maintained regardless of cost, and benefits from a full-service history with just two recorded owners. Additionally, we are led to believe that the first owner always kept the car garaged as part of his private collection as indeed has the current owner. A new set of tyres were fitted in April 2020 with such a low mileage, this represents a well-deserved place in the annals of Aston Martin history as not only one of the last cars ever to leave its spiritual home but uprated to S-Specification and kept in truly remarkable condition throughout.

1994 Ferrari 456 GT Transmission: manualMileage:60209Introduced at Garage Francorchamps, Belgium in 1992, the 456 was Ferrari's attempt to produce a motor car that was somewhat different from their usual offerings. The idea was to generate the space and comfort of a Gran Turismo (GT) whilst being the most powerful 2+2 in the world. The 456 GT incorporated features familiar to generations of Ferrari cognoscenti with the front mounted four-cam V12, rear transaxle, tubular steel space frame chassis, and all-independent suspension remaining, whilst an electronically controlled adaptive suspension and a six-speed gearbox made its first appearance (an automatic gearbox was also an option). Power was supplied via the nearly 450 horsepower V12 that produced a massive 398 ft lb of torque at 4500rpm. Variable ratio power steering, three-way adjustable suspension dampening, self-levelling rear ride height and a speed-activated rear spoiler ensure the handling is up to the performance. The interior was well appointed with features you expect from a luxury motor car. Aerodynamically efficient with a subtly beautiful curvaceous body, the 456 remained stable up to its maximum speed of around 190mph, a figure that made it the world's fastest production four-seater passenger car. This superb example of this iconic front engine V12 Ferrari is presented in the best colour combination of dark metallic blue with a crème leather interior. It comes with the desirable manual gearbox and a very good service history, with it being serviced at yearly intervals over the last few years by the well-known Ferrari specialist, Rardley Motors Ltd in Grayshott, Surrey. The history file is very concise with many old MoT test certificates, records showing the car's past ownership and many invoices chronicling the various owners' expenditure on the Ferrari making certain it has been kept in fine condition mechanically and cosmetically. We believe its paintwork is original and is in good general condition with the interior also in good general condition with the only sign of wear and tear being on the driver's side bolster. A fabulous example which also comes with its own soft car cover and still exudes panache and style even after nearly 30 years.

1960 Triumph TR3A Transmission: manualMileage:55883The Triumph TR3 was built between 1955 and 1962 and was usually supplied as an open two-seater, although an occasional rear seat and bolt-on steel hardtop were available as extras. It was powered by a 1991cc engine which initially produced 95bhp increasing to 100bhp at 5000rpm. The four-speed manual transmission could be supplemented by an overdrive unit on the top three ratios electrically operated and controlled by a switch on the dash. In 1956, the front brakes changed from drum to disc becoming the first British series production car to do so. Because of these disc brakes, the TR3 became known for its superior braking ability, making it an autocross favourite.Presented in red with a desirable white hardtop, this magnificent example of the iconic British sportscar boats just four owners in its entire life. Offered with a large history file which contains information going back to 1985 when the second owner, a Mr. Howard purchased the car requiring full restoration. The engine was rebuilt with the crankshaft re-ground and new liners and pistons fitted, along with unleaded valve seats with new valves and new springs. An electronic ignition was fitted, and the gearbox completely overhauled with a new clutch for good measure. The front suspension was updated and braided hoses fitted alongside new side screens rebuilt with a matching hood and tonneau. The third owner fitted a front anti-roll bar, and all the suspension bushes were polybushed alongside narrow V-belt pullies (less friction) and alternator. The car then took part in numerous rallies such as the TR Register Pyrenees tour in 1995 and the Millennium Tour in 2000.In 2012, the car was completely stripped and painted by Bristol Classic & Sports Cars in Clevedon. Contained within the history file are approximately seven A4 size sheets of paper with 35 photographs per sheet recording the recommissioning in 2015, we believe this included twin choke Weber carburettors, servo brakes and electronic fuel pump before tuning on a rolling road. You will be pleased to know that the car comes with old logbooks, tax discs and the factory hardtop which was also restored in 2015.Looked after and cherished without regard to cost, this TR3A with overdrive performs amicably in rallies but would be equally at home on the road and the bills and invoices over the years add up to thousands and thousands. Supplied with a new tonneau cover along with the hardtop, this is a UK car with matching numbers and comes with a BMIH Trust Certificate.Interested parties should note that the hard top for this Lot requires new glass.

1948 Morris Minor MM Lowlight Split Screen Transmission: manualMileage:15538Sir Alec Issigonis' concept was to combine the luxury and convenience of a good motor car at a price affordable by the working classes. The Minor was a roomy vehicle with superior cornering and handling characteristics. The Minor prototype had been known as the Morris Mosquito. More than 1.3 million of the lightweight, rear-wheel drive cars were eventually produced, mainly in Cowley, Oxfordshire, becoming Britain's first car to sell a million units and was exported around the world. Production continued in Birmingham until 1972 with the last Morris Minor (commercial) assembled at Stoke, Nelson, New Zealand in 1974. The front torsion bar suspension was shared with the larger Morris Oxford as was the almost-unibody construction. Although the Minor was originally designed to accept a flat four engine with four distinctive gaps in the engine bay to accommodate it, late in the development stage it was replaced by a 918cc side-valve inline-four engine, pretty much unchanged from the outgoing Morris 8 and producing 27.5hp and 39lbf ft of torque. This little engine pushed the Minor to just 64mph but delivered 40 miles per imperial gallon. This example is one of the very earliest cars in existence, being just the seventh car to roll off the production line in 1948. It is understood to be the oldest example in private ownership, with chassis number 501 belonging to the National Motor Museum. The car was purchased by our vendor's late uncle in 1965, being in the family ever since. The car is presented in exceptional condition throughout, the Platinum Grey paintwork gleams and would proudly sit next to far more expensive cars at any show. The car has some very rare features, such as the single round rear lights, a part which is said to have taken twenty years to source during the ground up restoration process, when a new old stock pair were found at an autojumble. The car also has side semaphore indicators and chrome door tops, opposed the stainless steel tops found on later cars. This example really does need to be seen to be fully appreciated, it is understood to be the oldest running useable example; there are no records of chassis numbers 502-506, so this car is likely to be the oldest surviving example which is publicly available. It's very unlikely that the National Motor Museum will sell chassis 501 anytime soon. This car would be a fantastic addition to any collection and is an opportunity which should not be missed.

1949 Bedford O.B. Duple Coach Transmission: manualMileage:4266Rationalising its manufacturing, General Motors moved production of Chevrolet commercial vehicles to its Vauxhall car plant at Luton, from whence a redesigned range of 'Bedford' branded commercials emerged in 1931. In 1939, Bedford introduced the 'K' series which, in common with passenger cars of the time, was more curvaceously styled and featured a rounded radiator grille. The 'K' series catered for 30-40cwt payloads, while further up the scale Bedford offered the 'M' and 'O' series for loads of up to three tons and five tons respectively. Introduced at the same time, the 'OB' was the coach version of the 'O' lorry chassis. Relatively few 'OB' chassis were built prior to WWII, but the model would prove to be an outstanding success with 12,766 produced up to 1951, making it one of the most popular buses of its type ever. This Duple-bodied Bedford O.B. Coach was supplied new in 1949 to Townsend Coaches of Crowthorne, Berkshire, from there it went to East Anglia, then to the West Midlands before ending up in the Reading based John Mould collection. While part of the collection this coach was restored having a new interior fitted and being repainted in maroon. The coach was then purchased by the current owner in 2003 from an auction of some of the vehicles from the John Mould collection. Shortly after the purchase he had it repainted in its current livery of cream and red to complement the restored red and black floral fabric seats. This coach can be driven on a normal driving licence with up to eight, none paying passengers or it is fully licenced to be used commercially. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a Class six MoT test certificate which expires in January 2024, a PSV certificate of initial fitness and a history of the eight weekly PCV inspections. This Bedford O.B. presents well, will be driven to the auction and is an opportunity to join the classic bus owner's community with a business potential.

1968 Aston Martin DB6 Transmission: manualMileage:7545The Aston Martin DB6 was launched at the London Motor Show in 1965, following on from the highly successful DB5, immortalised by the 1964 James Bond film 'Goldfinger'. The front of the DB6 was visually similar to the DB5 but closer inspection revealed quite a different car. The wheelbase was lengthened allowing additional passenger space in the rear along with a raised roof line. The profile of the rear quarter lights echoed those of the DB4 GT Zagato, a styling theme that continued through to the DBS and V8 models until production finished in 1990.Offered new by dealer D H Bloomer of Grimsby, this superb looking DB6 was registered new on 16th August 1968 to a Mr. Drink esq of Boston, Lincolnshire. Offered in Olive paintwork over a beige Connolly hide interior, the Aston was originally specified with options including power steering, a heated rear screen and chrome wire wheels.Restoration work was undertaken by Aston Service Dorset and Derek Watson Restoration in 1995. The DB6 was later sold in 1998 where it was dry stored and used occasionally until 2021 when our vendor acquired the car. During our vendors tenure, the car has been fully maintained by renowned marque specialists, Desmond J Smail Ltd of Olney and Aston Engineering of Derby.A very well-presented example, the paintwork retains a deep shine and is in very good order, as is the interior and engine bay showing a light patina as one would expect. Reported to run and drive very well indeed, this Aston comes complete with a sizeable history file including, many invoices for maintenance work, its current V5C registration document and previous MoT test certificates. This example having previously been the subject of restoration and having been maintained to a high standard throughout its life is a superb candidate for any enthusiast or collector looking for a very well presented and imminently usable DB6.

1975 Ford Escort RS1800 Rally Car Transmission: manualMileage:The squarer-styled Escort Mk. II appeared in January 1975 with the first production models having rolled off the production lines on 2nd December 1974. Unlike the first Escort (which was developed by Ford of Britain), the second generation was developed jointly between the UK and Ford of Germany. Codenamed 'Brenda' during its development, it had the same mechanical configuration as its predecessor; the estate and van versions even used the same panel-work as the Mk. I but with the Mk. II front end and interior. The car used a revised underbody which had, in fact, been introduced as a running change during the last six months of the life of the Mk. I. The car was a success with just four body styles competing in a variation of market niches where rival manufacturers had multiple models. The 'L' and 'GL' models were mainly purchased by the private sector; the 'Sport', 'RS Mexico' and 'RS2000' in the performance market; the 'Ghia' for an untapped small car luxury sector and 'base' models for the fleet market. The Escort continued to prove hugely popular with buyers in Britain during the second half of the 1970s, but production slowed and after an incredibly popular model run, ended in Britain in August 1980 with other countries following soon after.Built around one of the spare shells provided to Ford South Africa for their works rally team, it is reported that this RS1800 was bought by the well-known and respected Italian driver, Piazza Musso when the South African Ford team closed. Along with the unused shell and another, he also acquired direct from Ford South Africa many spares including; gearboxes, axles and suspension. UK based and well-regarded Escort rally specialists, Phil and Mick Squires were asked to travel to South Africa to complete the builds and compete in the sister car. By the end of the event, a deal had been struck to buy the car offered here. Mr. Squire even remembers having the factory 'Team Span' stripe stickers included in the deal, which are fitted to the car to this day. Before the car was sold, its 2.1 litre engine was removed as it would not have been legal to run in UK competition. Upon its arrival to the UK, the car was sold as a rolling chassis to the vendor who prepared the car to BTRDA specification, originally in the 1600cc class and latterly the 1800cc class. The car enjoyed good success between 2003 and 2009 winning several rallies in its respective classes before being converted to period specification to compete in the Historic Rally series, before later that year being put into long term storage.Full specification of the car can be seen in its history file, but highlights include; 2.0 litre three stud BDX competition engine with 48 Weber carburettors, AP racing twin plate clutch, Tony Law manifold and exhaust system, Terry Samuels built gearbox, works wiring loom, safety devices roll cage, four link box turrets, large differential housing with Atlas limited slip differential, GP4 adjustable pedal box, Bilstein shock absorbers, GP4 adjustable front struts with roller bearing top mounts, 'Monte Carlo' brake calipers and dry sump oil feed system. Supplied with a V5 registration document and fitted with a new starter motor, this piece of rallying history is ready to hunt down victories once more.

1978 Matra Simca Bagheera XTransmission: manualMileage:60120The Matra Bagheera was built by the automotive division of the French engineering group Matra in co-operation with Simca. Marketed as the Matra-Simca Bagheera until its final year of production, when its designation was changed to the Talbot-Matra Bagheera following Chrysler Europe's demise and subsequent takeover by PSA. Chrysler-Simca's planners also wanted a car with more than just two seats. Guédon agreed, but he was also not satisfied with the 2+2 arrangement used in the M530, feeling that the rear seats were too small to be really useful. The solution came to him on a lengthy trip he took in a Ford Taunus station wagon with two colleagues. The back of the car was so full that the travellers sat three across in the front of the car. The Bagheera was unveiled to the press at an event held at Lake Annecy on April 14th 1973. The public release of the car took place at the 1973 24 Heures du Mans. At the same time Simca had arranged to have 500 yellow Bagheeras available at their dealers across France. Towards the end of 1973, production levels had reached 65 cars per day.First registered on 3rd December 1982, this original and rare right hand drive conversion, carried out by Walchry Motors of Walton-on-Thames (official Peugeot Talbot dealers), is one of only 57 cars that were built by Walchry, and this example is believed to be one of only four remaining. Subject to a complete restoration and rebuild from 2014-2020, the car was completely stripped, the chassis fully plated, welded and coated. The composite bodywork has been repainted to a very high standard and mechanical components have been restored or replaced as necessary. The interior has been retrimmed to an equally high standard in black leather, with a black suede headlining. This has left the structure of the car as better than new and fully protected against the elements with full chassis rust proofing. The restoration has been finished off with bespoke Minilite-style alloy wheels. The history file boasts detailed photos of the restoration and upon purchase an extensive spares package is also available including the original alloy wheels and many body panels with collection near London. the odometer is in kms reading 98,363 which equates to just 60,120 miles. The standard electric windows have been enhanced with the addition of remote central locking and immobiliser. The engine has been upgraded to a more modern and reliable Peugeot EW12 2.2 unit, effectively a modern version of the 2.2 engine fitted to the Bagheera's successor, the Murena. Whilst in need of some mechanical fettling to the running and gear change to finish, the car now has a modern level of performance to suit the considerable style offered by this rare and beautiful three-seater. Registered as historic with the DVLA, so MoT and tax exempt, this three-seater is rarer than the Mclaren F1 so very collectable, rare and certainly a conversation starter.Guide Price £12,000-£17,000Spares parts available as follows which can be collected from London post sale;Front and rear bumpersBoth doorsRear glass, both sides,Rear light lensesUndertraysFuel tankRare original wheelsOriginal steering wheelVarious other bits, mostly exterior items

I Transmission: manualMileage:73372The Aston Martin DB6 was launched at the London Motor Show in 1965, following on from the highly successful DB5, immortalised by the 1964 James Bond film 'Goldfinger'. The front of the DB6 was visually similar to the DB5 but closer inspection revealed quite a different car. The wheelbase was lengthened allowing additional passenger space in the rear along with a raised roof line. The profile of the rear quarter lights echoed those of the DB4 GT Zagato, a styling theme that continued through to the DBS and V8 models until production finished in 1990. Both front and rear bumpers were split into two pieces and the rear of the car was restyled with a Kamm tail which helped reduce aerodynamic drag and gave the car more stability at speed. The engine remained the same as the DB5 unit, a 3995cc twin overhead cam straight-six, the Vantage version offering a claimed 325bhp.This example is an original Vantage, boasting triple Weber 45DCOE carburettors and is beautifully presented in the timeless colour combination of Silver Birch with Dark Navy leather interior. Fitted with power steering and a Webasto roof, which our vendor says it actually a very welcome feature on hot summers days. First registered on 4th May 1966, then sold to a Mr & Mrs Kemp in 1969, who would keep the car until 1976 before selling it to another Mrs Kemp, who went on to keep the car until 2010. Our vendor purchased the car in 2011 and has cherished it ever since. The history file is extensive, with a record of works going all the way back to 1970. The car was largely unrestored when our vendor purchased it from the Aston Workshop, but he chose to have it repainted to freshen it up, and had the interior restored to, both now present beautifully. There are a few age-related marks on the edges of panels, but the general appearance of the car is excellent. The bumpers, wheel spinners and interior components were all re-chromed in 2013, they present well and retain a good shine. Our vendor has attended to many mechanical parts during his ownership, the engine received new valve guides, new valves (6x Vantage 2.1 inlet valves & 6x standard exhaust valves), head re-build, new cam followers, new calipers all round, carburettor rebuild, new bushes, new timing chain and tensioner, new water pump, the list goes on. If you are looking to add a DB6 to your collection, a Vantage is surely the one to have. It's nice to find an example which is virtually unrestored, the car has just been maintained and freshened up over the years, this example is ready to be enjoyed right away and our vendor reports it is always a joy to drive.Interested parties should note that this vehicle is sold without a V5C registration document. The vendor will provide a covering letter to enable the new keeper to apply for a V5C registration document by means of a V62 form.

1991 Volkswagen Golf GTi Mk. This example has more recently been fitted with a full stainless steel Miltek exhaust, Koni coilover suspension, 16" steel wheels and an Alpine stereo. Accompanying the vehicle is a specification sheet, which is also transcribed below. The brilliant black paintwork is in good condition overall, with only minor blemishes and the interior and black leather is good, showing modest wear for its age and mileage. The vendor notes that the air conditioning needs re-gassing and the central locking system is faulty but otherwise there are no known faults. Recently treated to a fresh MoT test certificate, this GTi is offered with a history file including various booklets, the service book featuring many stamps, previous MoT test certificates, and a handful of receipts for parts from Volkswagen specialist, The Phirm and The Heritage Parts Centre covering the last few years. 1967 AEC Routemaster Bus Transmission: manualMileage:The AEC Routemaster was designed by London Transport and built by the Associated Equipment Company. The prototype was completed in 1954 and the model was in production until the last one was delivered in 1968. A pioneering design, the Routemaster outlasted several of its intended replacement models going on to become one of London's most famous symbols. In 2006 the Routemaster was voted one of Britain's top 10 design icons in a list that included Concorde, The Spitfire and the London tube map. One heritage route is still operated by Routemasters in central London. Most Routemasters were built for London Transport, although small numbers were built for British European Airways and the Northern General Transport Company. A total of 2,876 Routemasters were built, of which 1,280 are thought to be still in existence.Originally registered on 14th September 1967, SMK 666F was in service with London Transport for several years and must have seen some sights during its working life. This particular Routemaster was purchased in January 2018 and in December 2018 a full restoration project was started by a company called D Class involving a complete strip and rebuild of the entire interior of the bus to the owner's personal touch. The lower deck features a softball area with the floor and surrounding areas in soft rubber padding and a TV installed. The upper deck is designed for the adults and features a bar, a fridge, an ice maker, and lounge area for people to sit, drink, and socialise. Reported to drive well, these iconic buses will always be a part of London history and are easily maintained through a well-established and enthusiastic Owner's Club.

1929 MG PA to Q-Type Specification Transmission: manualMileage:2755The MG Q-Type is a racing car produced by MG in 1934. The chassis was based on the one used on the MG K3 but was narrower and used N-Type axles. The engine used the cylinder block from the P-Type but with a special crankshaft to bring the capacity down to 746cc by reducing the stroke. A high-pressure Zoller supercharger was fitted giving a boost to 2.5 atmospheres and allowing the engine to produce 113bhp at 7200rpm. A sprint version was also made with output increased to 146bhp which at nearly 200bhp per litre this figure was higher than any other racing engine in the world at that time and equated to over 200bhp per 1,000cc! To add stability at the inevitable high speeds, it was decided to increase the wheelbase and track on the basis that the extra power would more than compensate for the additional weight. The wheelbase was made the same as on the K3, and N-Type axles of 3' 9 track, with special 12 brake drums, were used.Regarded as the ultimate traditional overhead cam-engined MG Midget, it is thought only eight were made (Michael Sedgwick states nine) as the car was expensive at £550"“£650, and the rigid-axle chassis had difficulty in dealing with the power of the engine. In general layout the car followed the 1934 MG K3 very closely and inside elevation it is not easy to tell the two models apart. All eight Q-Types were originally fitted with very attractive open two-seat sports racing coachwork with a sloping, pointed tail and outside exhaust. The final track testing of the Q-Type was undertaken by Bill Everitt and on Whit Monday, 1934, he broke the Class H Brooklands Mountain lap record at 69.97mph, first time out. He then competed at a Donington Park race meeting, achieving a first place and two seconds. At Brooklands on August 1st, he broke the Standing Kilometer and Standing Mile records at 69.75 and 79.88mph respectively - this was a direct measure of the improvement of the Q-Type since these records were taken from E.R. Hall who had set them the previous year in an MG J4. In October 1934, Everitt raised the Mountain Lap record to 75.58mph in the Q-Type and the Standing Kilometer and Mile records to the remarkable figures of 75.42 and 85.59mph.The Q-Type bodied MG PA on offer today is presented in French Racing Blue and we ascertain from the large history file it was subject to a full photographic restoration in 2007. In stunning order and boasting the Volumex supercharger, during our vendors tenure the car has undergone significant expenditure to create what is a fabulous recreation of the Q-Type racer showing a body work akin to the days racing at Brooklands. This included the blower, the bespoke external handbrake, quick fill fuel caps , turned metal dash with dual chronograph clocks, Brooklands aero screens, aluminium foot plates and aluminium and rubber mats in the footwell. The bonnet straps and coachwork are as new likewise the trim sitting on wire wheels with bespoke tonneau and a fabulous fantail exhaust.Eligible we would believe for hill climbs and sprints, this would be a great drivers car and certainly one of the best looking examples in the paddock. Our vendor has moved abroad so can no longer enjoy thus viewing is strongly advised for a car that will be finding a new home. This is an exceedingly rare opportunity to purchase a stunning homage to one of the eight Q-Types and in fine condition. It is an extremely exciting road car as well as a competitive pre-war racing car.

1994 Land Rover Defender 90 County Transmission: manualMileage:99196The Land Rover Series I was launched in 1948 and, incredibly, production only finished in January 2016 after a continuous run of 67 years through various evolutions before becoming the Defender, though the design stayed largely un-changed. Outwardly, there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. A full-length bonnet, revised grille, plus the fitting of wheel arch extensions to cover wider-track axles are the most noticeable changes. Internally, coil springs offered a more comfortable ride and a permanent four-wheel drive system derived from the Range Rover featuring a two-speed transfer gearbox with a lockable centre differential. A modernised interior and a new series of progressively more powerful and modern engine characterised things under the skin. This Defender has lived a relatively sedate life, it was with its original keeper, a Mrs Doyle until 2012, before being bought by our vendors neighbour, Mr Litton, in 2012. Our vendors neighbour decided to treat himself to a brand new Defender when he retired, but decided he wanted a second vehicle to keep the mileage down on his shiny new purchase. Mr Litton fitted the option of a hand controlled brake pedal to the vehicle and when our vendor purchased the vehicle from him earlier this year, he decided to leave it fitted as it wasn't in the way and it may help someone else at a later date. The vendor reports that the speedometer stopped working and had to be replaced some years ago, so the true mileage is understood to be in the region of 120,000. This rugged go-anywhere Defender is being offered without reserve, so why not have a go at buying one of the most accomplished off-roaders?

1958 Austin Healey 100/6 Transmission: manualMileage:2693The Austin Healey 100 was built between 1953 and 1956 by the British Motor Corporation. It was developed by Donald Healey to be produced in-house by Healey's small car company in Warwick and based on Austin A90 Atlantic mechanicals. Healey built a single 'Healey Hundred' for the 1952 London Motor Show and the design impressed Leonard Lord, Managing Director of Austin, so much that a deal was struck with Healey to build it in quantity at Austin's Longbridge factory. The car was renamed the Austin Healey 100. The '100' name comes from Donald Healey who selected the name from the car's ability to reach 100mph as opposed to the Austin Healey 3000 which is named for its 3000cc engine. The final '100' models, 1956's 'BN4' (2+2 seats) and 1958's 'BN6' (two seats) were six-cylinder 100/6 cars. To make room for the occasional seats the wheelbase was increased by two inches. The bonnet had a built-in air scoop and the windscreen no longer folded down.Subject to a full mechanical and bodywork restoration this stunning example was manufactured in 1958. Presented beautifully in green coachwork with a newly trimmed interior in contrasting blood red Nappa leather with new wool carpets and new tonneau cover. Boasting a manual gearbox, this desirable four-seater is UK registered, and the original engine has been uprated and bored out to 3.0 litre, this coupled to a new wiring loom, rebuilt carburettors and a lightened and balanced flywheel, new engine mounts and clutch. The cooling has been uprated with a new aluminium radiator, new fan and new water pump. The fittings are all zinc or stainless steel in the engine bay and the car now also benefits from electronic ignition and disc brakes. A look underneath also gives an indication of the extent of the restoration for what is a great looking car. The most desirable model with the most desirable engine, this example will deliver many more years of driving pleasure with its classic good looks and strong performance this example looks fabulous.

1975 Alfa Romeo Spider Transmission: manualMileage:4626The Alfa Romeo Spider was produced from 1966 to 1993 and is widely regarded as a design classic. It remained in production for almost three decades with only minor aesthetic and mechanical changes. The final Alfa Romeo Spider and the last rear wheel drive vehicle produced before the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione debuted in May 2012 was produced in April 1993. The first presentation of the car, as a prototype, was at the Turin Motor Show in 1961; however, the continuing success of existing models and the economic challenges facing Italy at the time meant that the first pre-launch Spiders only began to emerge from the Pininfarina production line at the end of 1965. The 1300 and 2000 cars were modified in 1974 and 1975 respectively to include two small seats behind the front seats, becoming a 2+2.This right hand drive Alfa Romeo Spider was originally registered in South Africa and has recently been imported into the UK. It is fitted with a 2.0 litre engine which also has a turbo fitted to it. The bodywork is in good condition as is the biscuit-coloured interior. Supplied with a NOVA certificate and a current MoT test certificate valid until 19th June 2024, this handsome Alfa Romeo offers 'wind in the hair' motoring for a modest outlay.

1995 Ford Escort RS Cosworth Transmission: manualMileage:21752The Ford Escort RS Cosworth was released in 1992 just as the Sierra Sapphire 4x4 Cosworth production was ending. The radical styling that included flared arches and the unmissable whale tail rear spoiler, displayed only a small part of the potential however, that potential was fulfilled by the fitment of the Ford power unit that lay under the bonnet boosted by a turbo charger. Production commenced in February 1992 with the first 2,500 being homologation specials. The Cosworth was entered into the World Rally Championship the following year, enjoying outstanding success in the hands of works drivers François Delecour and Miki Biasion. Although the RS Cosworth resembled the Escort road car, it was in fact based on a shortened Sierra 4x4 floor pan and used the latter's running gear. This meant that, unlike the mainstream Mk. V Escort, the RS Cosworth mounted its engine fore-and-aft rather than transversely, it also used the Sierra 4x4's five-speed manual transmission which featured permanent four-wheel drive that split the power 34/66 front/rear. In road trim, the RS Cosworth produced 227bhp and with that horsepower in a nimble, compact car, performance was outstanding. The end came too early for many enthusiasts with production ceasing in January 1996. Only 7,145 cars were produced over a four-year period. This example is presented in Ash Black with one of the rarest interior trims, red hex Recaro. The overall condition of the car is excellent, our vendor purchased the car from a local gentleman who owned it alongside a daily driven 200,000 mile Sierra Cosworth, the Escort Cosworth was the one he chose to keep tucked away with the mileage kept to a minimum. The odometer failed in 2012 at 25,184 miles, a replacement was fitted showing 17,666 miles, meaning the true mileage of the car is now just 29,270 miles. The car remains in almost completely unmodified form, the only change being a stainless steel exhaust, which provides a very subtle note and is by no means too 'shouty'. The cambelt was replaced in 2021 and a service was carried out at the same time, only around 500 miles have been covered since. The MoT test certificate is valid until March 2024, two advisories were noted which were,  some slight corrosion on underside components and a perished CV boot -  both have since been attended to.The Escort Cosworth has one of the most legendary silhouettes of all time with its instantly recognisable whale tail rear spoiler. They were a rare sight on the roads when new, further amplified now more than 30 years after the cars initial release, only 241 cars are now registered on UK roads. This is a particularly well-kept example in a desirable colour combination and boasting less than 30,000 miles from new and has proven to be one of the most desirable fast Ford's in recent years.

1954 MG TF Transmission: manualMileage:10250Originally launched at the 1953 Motor Show, the MG TF was greeted with mixed reactions from enthusiasts and journalists alike. To the Abingdon engineers, led by Cecil Cousins, it was a model that was sufficiently different from its predecessors and yet continued the traditional T-Series classic lines and the end result was very pleasing to the eye. Interior wise and in keeping with the external modifications, the cockpit layout was quite radically different to that of its predecessor and formed a comfortable and pleasant place to be. Individually adjustable seats were provided in place of the normal bench type seating and the facia panel was completely new with a welcome return to octagonal instrumentation. Often referred to as 'the last of the square riggers' the MG TF gained this title due to its very strong resemblance to the pre-war MG Midgets. This delightful MG was previously owned by an Austrian businessman who used the car to drive around his factory. The car was repatriated to the UK in 1991 and it received a light restoration around this time, presumably it was also converted to right hand drive at this time. The current owner and vendor purchased the car in 1991 and has thoroughly enjoyed owning this pretty TF. Finished in white with red interior and supplied with a V5C registration document together with a history folder. MG TF's are widely regarded as the best of the 'T' range and this delightful example cannot fail to remind you what classic motoring is all about.

1989 Mercedes-Benz 420 SL Transmission: automaticMileage:109000These fabulous and popular models were launched at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1985, the 420 SL convertible retained its predecessor's long-running Type 107 bodyshell virtually unchanged. The V8 engined newcomer supplanted the outgoing 380 SL model and was produced alongside the outwardly similar 300 SL 'six'. Its power unit was an enlarged and improved version of the existing 3.8 litre overhead cam Type M116 V8. The running gear followed Mercedes-Benz's established pattern, comprising of independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes, while a new five-speed manual gearbox was offered alongside the existing four-speed automatic transmission. A mere 2,148 examples of this luxuriously equipped limited edition model were made between 1985 and 1989.Originally registered on 7th January 1989, this beautiful Mercedes-Benz is presented with a restored bodywork combination finished in metallic grey with a contrasting cream leather interior and new black hood. Clearly a very well cared for example, the cream coachwork presents beautifully as does the chromework. The history file shows an extensive servicing history, many with Mercedes-Benz dealers and specialists prior to our vendor purchasing the car in 2019. After an extensive search for a V8 in this colourway our vendor purchased the car and continued the maintenance by replacing the bulkhead with items from the SL Shop, having the car fully repainted and recently having the gearbox serviced alongside its usual scheduled service, this is coupled to an MoT test certificate valid until June 2024 with no advisories, all handbooks and this six owner example also boasts the factory hardtop. With straight panels and good panel gaps, this R107 is above the level of similar examples offered for sale at comparable prices. Supplied with a V5C registration document, this is a stunning colour combination example of the desirable V8 powered 420 with hard and soft tops for all year-round classic motoring.* Interested parties should note that the private registration plate shown is to be retained by the vendor and a new, age-related registration issued instead which is understood to be F311 FKR Interested parties should note that upon delivery this car developed a small misfire, our mechanic has checked the car and diagnosed that it has developed an injector problem issue on one cylinder and needs replacing. We are informed that this is an inexpensive and simple fix but one we cannot complete at the auction venue, the car has just had a full service including new plugs and the vendor has offered to have the injector fixed for any successful bidder.

1966 Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster (4.2 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:23859The Jaguar E-Type was manufactured between 1961 and 1975 and its combination of good looks, high performance and competitive pricing established the marque as an icon of 1960's motoring.  A great success for Jaguar, more than 70,000 E-Types were sold during its lifespan. The Series I was introduced, initially for export only, in March 1961 with the domestic market launch coming four months later in July 1961. The cars at this time used the triple SU carburetted, 3.8 litre six-cylinder XK engine from the XK150's. The first 300 cars built had flat floors and external bonnet latches and are considered rare and more valuable. After that, the floors were dished to provide more leg room and the twin hood latches moved to inside the car with the 3.8 litre engine increased to 4.2 litres in October 1964.This left hand drive E-Type 4.2 Series I roadster was imported from the US in 2013, where the owner used the car as his daily driver and took care of everything mechanically. The engine started on the button during our visit to the vendor here in the UK and sounded excellent. However, this E-Type would benefit from some investment to the coachwork as, although the body appears to have little or no corrosion, the paintwork does require some attention. The other option is to leave the exterior as it is and adopt the 'rat' look which is fashionable these days. Supplied with a V5C registration document, this Jaguar E-type roadster could well prove to be an interesting project.

1985 Porsche 911 / 930 Turbo Transmission: manualMileage:71800In the early 1970's, Porsche had designs on racing a turbocharged version of the 911 and the Porsche 911 Turbo or 930 was born. It was the fastest production car available on the market. Adding this level of power to the already powerful car created a vehicle that was not for the faint hearted. In skilled hands, however, a 930 will show a clean pair of heels to most of its rivals. It was based around the Carrera RS 3.0, the engine from which was modified, courtesy of turbo technology. Initially, power output was 260bhp but from 1978, it was increased to 300bhp by raising the engine capacity to 3.3 litres as is the case in this instance.First registered on 8th August 1985, this fabulous black on black unmodified genuine C16 UK supplied 930 Turbo is not only stunning but ready to use and enjoy having had thousands lavished on it by our vendor, notably to the bodywork and engine. In addition to the extensive engine work the turbo was rebuilt, a new clutch and gearbox synchros. A recent oil service by Uber GT is coupled to a full engine rebuild by Northway Porsche at 70,000 miles before running in and all of the necessary and recommended work thereafter has been carried out by the renowned Porsche specialists.Evidence of this work is all found within the impressive history file with detailed invoices and comprehensively stamped service booklet. The bodywork is superb with a deep gloss as you would hope with this iconic car and importantly there are no signs of any corrosion, the black leather interior looks original and in keeping with the age of the car with good bolsters and a fine finish. Our vendor informs us that the car drives superbly and the engine pulls as strong as he would hope providing, as it should, a very visceral and engaging experience. The fuel system has had the necessary work to ensure that this 930 drives as you would expect, work includes reconditioned fuel distributor, pressure regulator, along with new coil pack and ignition amplifier. Michelin PS4 tyres were fitted within the last 1,000 miles and it is used regularly to keep the fluids flowing. There is a Blaupunkt Bremen fitted which looks the part of course. Recent work is in excess of £25,000 so you have the confidence you are buying a great car. The 930 Turbo is incredibly collectable, and this example not only has looks to die for but the mechanical confidence to back it up. A true icon and sure to retain its value in the coming years.

1981 Porsche 924 Turbo Carrera Tribute Transmission: manualMileage:83800Originally starting life as a very respectable 924 Turbo, this example was registered new on 18th March 1981. Having been in storage for some 12 years, this 924 was acquired by a previous owner in 2000 with 81,000 miles on the odometer, with the intention of creating a Carrera GT tribute. He commissioned the work to be undertaken by KSM Engineering who completed the transformation by utilising parts from a vandalised Carrara GT. The car was then treated to an engine rebuild, retrimmed interior, and a respray in Guards Red, finished with a set of Fuchs alloys. The result was a superb looking tribute that was in excellent condition. Later sold in 2005 the new keeper fitted a stainless-steel exhaust and a Mittal electronic distributor. Other notable upgrades to the 924 include a new cambelt, four new tyres, a refurbished fuel tank, new pipes and hoses, new fuel pump, refurbished brake calipers with new pads, new heater and radiator hoses, a new wiring loom, period style DAB radio with hands free connectivity, instruments refurbished, and more recently in 2023 the turbo was refurbished and upgraded to Carrera GT specification by AET Turbos. Our vendor acquired this superb looking example in 2020 in good running and driving condition, however in 2023 the camshaft oil feed fractured, and the result was a bent valve. Having had the engine inspected using a borescope it revealed that one bent valve was the extent of the damage. As such the Porsche is being sold as a non-runner with the above work needing completion before road use. The decision was taken to sell the Porsche as is rather than complete the above work due to the vendors health complications and being in need of a more practical weekend car. Offered with a large history file including service records, invoices, old MoT test certificates and the V5C registration document as well as a number of spares. Once completed, this example will no doubt offer astonishing performance and handling while being a very comfortable long distance tourer.

1979 Ford Capri Mk. III 3.0 S X-Pack Transmission: manualMileage:71000The Mk. III Capri was launched in 1978 and with a facelift which included quad headlights and wrap around bumpers that offered a more modern shape and improved dynamics which naturally improved the performance and economy. The Mk. II and Mk. III 3.0 litre X-pack special performance options pack was offered between 1977 and 1980. They used a special glass fibre widebody kit made by Fibresports, larger ventilated front disc brakes (retaining the standard drums at the rear), Bilstein gas-filled rear dampers and front struts, an 'anti-dive kit', a Salisbury limited slip differential and a choice of two performance upgrades for Essex V6 3.0 litre engines. The first upgrade, called the Group 1 pack, boost the power up to 170hp. This engine included larger valves, ported cylinder heads and a Weber 40 DFI5 carburettor and other optional performance upgrades. The second option, referred to as X-Pack, offered 185hp and 195 lb/ft of torque, thanks to three Weber 42 DCNF two-barrel carburettors fed by an electric fuel pump, the same ported cylinder heads and larger inlet and exhaust valves as the GP1. It used special head gaskets even though the standard compression ratio of 9.0:1 and standard camshaft were retained. The X-Pack was also equipped with a wing as standard and it featured unique 7.5 x 13" wheels, for which a special body kit was made. The X-Pack included a free-flowing performance exhaust system with distinctive flattened rear ends. The X-Pack Capri could reach 60mph from standing in 7.4 seconds, a full second faster than the standard 3.0 litre Capri and had a top speed of 130mph. These upgrades could only be bought through and fitted by one of the 80 Ford RS Motorsport dealerships in the UK, or a completely new car could be ordered factory equipped through a Ford Motorsport dealer. It is estimated that little over 100 conversions were made. This lovely 1979 Ford Capri Mk. 2002 Porsche 911 / 996 Carrera 4S Transmission: manualMileage:75372The Porsche 911/996 Carrera 4S is fast becoming one of the most desirable 996 models, given its wide turbo body looks and still remaining very affordable in the modern classic world. It offers a thrilling driving experience and is powered by 3.6 litre flat-six engine, producing a highly respectable 316bhp. This engine was paired to either a six-speed manual transmission or an optional five-speed Tiptronic automatic. The car was also fitted with an all-wheel drive system, giving it excellent traction and handling in any conditions. The 996 Carrera 4S has a top speed of 174mph and a 0-60 time of just 4.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest cars in its class. This iconic Carrera 4S 911 is presented in Seal Grey with contrasting leather trim, a non-sunroof manual example of the widebody 996, this 4S is fast becoming a real favourite with collectors being a non turbo, manual widebody example of the first water cooled 911. This particular example presents excellently with little sign of the wear many other 996's suffer from, the body work is clean and the seat bolsters good perhaps due to having had just five previous owners. Recently fully serviced by Porsche Torque, this car has also had a bore scope test and shows no evidence of burning oil. The service booklet shows a further 10 services from Specialist PorschePurchased new on 13th April 2002, some 20 years ago now, this example was specified with an uprated Bose sound system and cost £63,443. South of the iconic Turbo S or GT3 models, this is seen as the true 996 drivers car, the rigidity of a non-sunroof coupé with the iconic 3.6 litre flat-six coupled to a manual gear box which is streaks ahead of the comparable Tiptronic all wrapped up in the turbo widebody.

1963 Morris 1100 Transmission: manualMileage:19637In 1962, a quite revolutionary new saloon was launched by BMC. With the codename ADO16 this new car was hot from the drawing boards of Alec Issigonis, who set out to design a larger and more sophisticated car which incorporated more advanced features and innovations, and the world-famous Italian design house Pininfarina. Offered in many guises by Innocenti, Morris, Riley, Wolseley, Vanden Plas and Austin, the ADO16 was truly universal in its appeal. In line with BMC's policy at the time, Austin badged versions of the ADO16 were built at Longbridge, whilst Morris and MG versions were assembled at Cowley.Originally registered on 13th June 1963, this lovely Morris 1100 presents in time warp condition and boasts just one former keeper, that first keeper until 2019. The Fiesta Yellow coachwork is in incredible order given its 60 years and the interior has a delightful patina which is certainly commensurate with such a low owner example, but for some tears in the driver seat which could be repaired it is in remarkable order. The chromework is very good and we are informed there has been no welding to the body presumably as the Morris 110 club member cherished this example. Supplied with a V5C registration document, we are informed the car was laid up between 2015 and 2019 prior to our vendor purchasing and recommissioning 823 FXM. The car is accompanied by a current MoT test certificate which is valid until 29th March 2024 with no advisories, even though the car is MoT exempt. The history file includes the vehicle and workshop manuals. This is a fabulous opportunity to purchase an iconic piece of British motoring history.Guide £6,000-£10,000

1999 Maserati Quattroporte IV Evoluzione (3.2 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:23342Maserati launched its first Quattroporte back in 1963 and has continued to make a version of this luxury four-door sports saloon ever since. The fourth-generation model came out in 1994 and was the first Maserati to be produced under new owners Fiat, who had bought this illustrious Italian marque from Alejandro de Tomaso in 1993. An evolution of the Biturbo platform, the Quattroporte IV was styled by Marcello Gandini (of Lamborghini Miura and Countach fame) and featured his signature slashed rear wheel arch design which had first been seen on the Countach and later on the Maserati Shamal. Initially powered by the 280bhp twin-turbo 24-valve 2.8 V6 from the Ghibli, the Quattroporte IV got the flagship Shamal engine in 1996, a 336bhp twin-turbo 3.2 V8 which gave it blistering performance, 0-60 in 5.8 seconds and a top speed of 168mph. A Getrag six-speed manual gearbox came as standard, but a more town-friendly ZF four-speed automatic was also available as an option. This excellent, rare right hand drive, 1999 Maserati Quattroporte IV has only covered 23,400 miles from new which is supported by comprehensive service history. Supplied new by Meridien Maserati in the New Forest, Hampshire to Mr. J Peters of St. Peters Port, Guernsey. In his ownership the car was looked after by Meridien Modena and Doyle Motors Guernsey. In 2015, the car was sold to Dr. D Mitchell and imported into the UK, for the three years that he kept the car it was maintained by Autoshield Maserati, Manchester. The next change of keeper came in 2017/18 when passed to Mr. P Winfield whose preferred repairer was McGrath Maserati. The last recorded service with the cambelts changed was with Autoshield at 23,176 miles in November 2021, this was done for the current owner who purchased the car in June 2021. Since that service the car has covered less than 200 miles. 2015 Ford Mustang 5.0 Litre Transmission: manualMileage:4298The Ford Mustang is an American icon and was originally based on the Ford Falcon. The first production Mustang rolled off the assembly line in Dearborn, Michigan in March 1964 and was introduced to the public at the New York World's Fair on 17th April 1964. It was, and remains, one of the most successful product launches in automotive history, with the original Mustang selling over one million units in its first eighteen months alone. After five previous generations diluting the original 'Pony car', the sixth-generation arrived in 2013 to widespread consideration that Ford has perhaps returned the Mustang to its glory days. The sixth-generation Mustang was unveiled on December 5th, 2013, in Dearborn, Michigan, New York, Los Angeles, California; Barcelona, Spain, Shanghai, China; and Sydney, Australia, with the internal project code name; S-550, with three engine options available: a newly developed 2.3 litre EcoBoost with 310bhp, a 3.7 litre 300bhp V6, or the 5.0 litre Coyote 435bhp V8 with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. A new independent rear suspension system was developed specifically for the new model. It also became the first factory version designed as a right hand drive export model to be sold overseas through Ford new car dealerships in right hand drive markets. After the much beloved TVR brand had finally been bought back by a group of business minded car enthusiasts keen to revive the once glorious TVR name, they set about designing a car that would not only start a new chapter in the brand's history, but also ensure its longevity to hopefully compete with all the other top supercar manufacturers going forward. With this in mind they hired non-other, than the great Formula 1 champion race car designer and designer of the legendary F1 road car, Gordon Murray. A design concept was agreed and a new car penned. As part of the development of the new car, TVR needed a test mule to develop their ECU settings along with a myriad of other electric necessities. The engine the new car was to run was the same as in the newly released Ford Mustang. With that a brand new V8 engined Mustang was ordered from Ford and imported to the UK for Murray to experiment with. Offered here is that car, a unique piece of British automotive history and one which has just been recommissioned after a period in storage with a fresh MoT test certificate put on it. The car retains interesting features such as the additional wiring loom installed by Gordon Murray Automotive for added sensors and data collection as well as an emergency power cut red button in the cabin! Ready to be enjoyed, this 5.0 litre brute of a car is reported to run and drive very well and to be quite rapid making a fantastic noise.Supplied with a V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until August 2024 and import papers along with correspondence from Gordon Murray Automotive to the DVLA. Don't miss the opportunity to own a piece of history from the return of the UK's most outlandish car brand!Guide price £18,000 - £28,000Interested parties should note that that on start-up there is an fault code that reads ‘Misfire during start up’. No misfire is actually detected and the car runs and drives as it should. Once started the fault code can be cleared but returns upon its next cold start. This is something to do with the development wiring Gordon Murrey Automotive installed confusing the ECU on start up.

The interior looks amazing, having been retrimmed in 2021 at the cost of £4,100 by an ex-Morgan employee, who completed the work exactly how it would have been done by Morgan themselves. The bodywork looks equally as impressive, it isn't freshly painted to concours standard, but it certainly doesn't require any attention. The car is supplied with full weather gear, including side screens, tonneau cover and hood. The engine is where the magic happens on this example, having been fitted with Viper fast road camshafts, Rhoades lifters, gas flowed heads, Hedman manifolds and four-barrel Holley carburettor. Our vendor reports this car is very fast and would make an excellent hill climb or sprint car, whilst remaining very useable on the road. The car was dyno tested at 284bhp, offering a strong improvement over the original engine. The car comes with a good amount of paperwork with a detailed handwritten record of works carried out between 2003 and 2011 and a strong amount of invoices detailing various works carried out over the years. Our vendor is selling his beloved Morgan mainly to free up some space in his workshop. This is a fantastic example of the mighty V8 powered Morgan, which represents great value for money when compared with its rivals of the day.
