Built in September 1968 (according to its Jaguar Heritage Trust production record trace certificate), the Signal Red car with black interior was dispatched to the USA in October of that year. It returned to the UK in 2014, but has been dry-stored since then, albeit UK-registered. The car is running, but its clutch is stuck, so it can't currently be driven. We are told by the vendor that the car is 'matching numbers'. The odometer shows 00921 miles. The paperwork file includes the V5C, Jaguar Heritage Trust production record trace certificate, documentation relating to its NOVA and British registration, and some Californian registration and insurance documents from its past life in the USA. 1962 Jaguar D-Type Evocation Make: Jaguar Model: D-Type Evocation Year: 1962Mileage: 39333VIN: GA47245DLConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: XLD58Transmission: manualWith between 71 and 75 Jaguar D-types originally built for racing, 'Evocations' for road use have appeared ever since. The underpinnings of this one appear to be 1962 Triumph Herald 1200, albeit upgraded with a six-cylinder 2.0-litre engine. In April 2020, it was delivered to Rally Preparation Services (RPS) in Witney, Oxfordshire. Over the next year and two months, over £35,000 was spent on RPS building the car and adding period authentic details. There's a collection of 12 invoices detailing what was done up until November 2021; a browse through the bills will show just how much time, effort and money has been spent on this vehicle. Seven former registered keepers are recorded - although this is for the entire history of the car, from 1962 onwards (when it was a Triumph Herald) with 39,326 miles recorded on the odometer. The car's last MoT - when it was still a Herald - was in May 2009, when a mileage of 38,850 miles was noted. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 24TH MARCH BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

The current MoT is valid until July 2022 and the vehicle was registered in June 1969. The vendor acquired the vehicle in at the end of 2013 but has only driven it around 1000 miles since then, and is now selling because of a lack of use. It drives as it should, although, as an armoured Land Rover, it is a heavy vehicle to pilot.

The V5C notes 10 former registered keepers, and 94,922 miles are recorded on the odometer. The last MoT expired in December 2021, although as an historic vehicle, the Triumph no longer needs one. The paperwork folder includes the V5C, most recent (2020) MoT certificate and a selection of bills from 2020 (mainly for engine components) and 2019 (brake parts). 1955 Austin A30 Make: Austin Model: A30 Year: 1955Mileage: 62211VIN: A2S4101546Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: PXT672Transmission: manualThis 1955 Austin A30, registered in February of that year, was owned by its last recorded keeper for nearly 40 years, until he gave up driving. It's seen little use over the last few years, but still runs and drives. However the brakes will require some attention. Three former registered keepers are recorded on the V5C, which also notes the engine capacity of 948cc. As A30s had 803cc A-series engines, it's possible that, at some point in the car's past, it has been upgraded with the engine from a later A35. The paperwork folder includes the current V5C plus an old one, as well as MoTs from 2002, 2005, 2006 to 2009 and 2010 to 2012. As an historic vehicle, this A30 is now exempt from testing. The mileage shown by the odometer is 62,211. Cosmetically, inside and out, the Austin would benefit from some attention.
