1936 Daimler E20 Saloon Transmission: manualMileage:80498The E20 was manufactured between 1935 and 1939. It offered the choice of a coachbuilt saloon, Sports Saloon, Fixedhead Coupé and Drophead Coupé bodies on a notably stiff box section chassis that featured integral lubrication and jacking systems. The model was powered by an OHV straight-six engine with output of 19.3hp - sufficient for a top speed of almost 70mph. This was mated to a four-speed pre-selector gearbox via Daimler's patented fluid flywheel. Suspension was by semi-elliptic springs and beam axles all round and braking by Girling servo-assisted drums. The total production of E20s was some 873, of which some 35 are known to have survived, making it a rare car today. Daimlers were the sole royal appointment cars up to 1950 and this magnificent 1936 example is very much in this tradition.Originally registered on 29th July 1936, according to the current owner, this Daimler E20 has only had two owners throughout its 80 years on the road and has covered the remarkably low mileage of 80,498. The vendor purchased the car in the early 1980's from the deceased estate of the first owner Mr Daubney, who became the chairman of the Daimler and Lanchester Owners Club. As part of a wedding hire fleet, it has been registered on the V5C registration document with a couple of other keepers but has been in his ownership since its purchase. The vendor is a very knowledgeable classic car enthusiast, and he has looked after the car exceedingly well, keeping it in a warm, heated environment. Space, comfort, luxury and visibility are offered in abundance with this vehicle. This totally original 1936 Daimler E20 is finished in regal black with midnight blue inserts and the original midnight blue leather interior, it is supplied with a V5C registration document and a MoT test certificate which expires in September 2024. This Daimler E20 offers a rare opportunity to purchase a delightful piece of British motoring history.

1973 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible by Karmann Transmission: manualMileage:99852The VW Beetle is a true icon of 20th Century motoring and occupies a significant position in the minds and hearts of drivers and enthusiasts across the globe. The Beetle is the longest-running and most-manufactured car of a single design platform anywhere in the world with over 21 million cars produced between 1938 and 2003. The VW Beetle has seduced many a first time buyer, collector and classic car enthusiast. And for obvious reasons; the parts network is comprehensive and inexpensive, the ability to convert the base model into many different variants was always available and the cost of the car itself presented a gateway into classic car ownership. This example was registered new in 1973 and was imported into the UK in December 1990. The Beetle has had two owners since being imported into the UK, the first of which treated the Volkswagen to a colour change to black, converted it to right hand drive and registered the car as a historic vehicle. The current keeper has maintained the car when necessary with notable work including extensive welding to the chassis and inner wings in 2019. Presented in black coachwork over a red leather interior and black hood. The hood is in good condition and the Fuchs style alloy wheels complement the Volkswagen very well indeed. The interior is in good order and the paintwork retains a deep shine although there are some age-related blemishes. In current ownership since 2017 the Volkswagen comes with a history file detailing previous maintenance documents, sundry bills, old MoT test records and the current V5C registration document. What better way to enjoy the summer than in a 1600cc Volkswagen Beetle convertible!

1985 Jaguar XJ-SC (3.6 litre) Transmission: automaticMileage:26743The Jaguar's XJS was launched in 1975, its twenty one year production life was a testimony to the excellence of its basic design. With all round independent, coil sprung suspension, power assisted rack and pinion steering and disc brakes, its excellent ride/handling balance was justly praised by the contemporary motoring press. The XJS's original 5.3 litre developed some 295bhp in later fuel injected form and when allied to automatic transmission gave authoritative 150mph performance but did suffer from very bad fuel consumption. Many would argue the 3.6 litre AJ6 unit is the sweet spot, with ample power and far better fuel economy. The targa element of the XJ-SC was often preferred over the straight convertible as it added more torsional rigidity and so increased performance. This example is a true piece of Jaguar history, it is a pre-production XJ-SC built in 1983 in left hand drive form, then converted to right hand drive by the factory before being delivered to its first owner. Benefitting from the Getrag five-speed manual gearbox, this example is a true driver's car, quite opposite to its V12 powered automatic siblings and offers a very different driving experience.  Having covered less than 27,000 miles from new, this XJ-SC presents in very impressive condition throughout and comes to auction with an MoT test certificate valid until September 2024 and is supplied with a comprehensive history file. Although the car is photographed with its factory rear hardtop, the folding rear section is included.

1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello Transmission: manualMileage:66419The Ferrari 550 Maranello is a two-seat grand tourer manufactured from 1996 and is powered by a front engined V12. It shared its platform and 5,474cc engine with the 456 but was positioned as the company's high-end model. Featuring a luxurious and spacious interior and, unusually for a Ferrari, the boot could accommodate a set of golf clubs. The 550 has a tubular steel frame chassis with light aluminium bodywork. Power steering is variable assist and, to be expected of a car with this performance, disc brakes are fitted all round. Acceleration is an impressive 4.2 seconds 0-60mph and top speed a reported 199mph. In total, 3,083 Ferrari 550's were produced of which only 457 were supplied within the UK.Originally registered on 24th October 1997 this manual gearbox Ferrari has been owned by the vendor for the last eight years and presents in very good order throughout. Finished in the great colour combination of Grigio Titanio with black interior this 550 Maranello comes with a comprehensive and well documented service history latterly by respected marque specialists Kent High Performance Cars. The last service carried out was on 18th May 2022 at 64,546 miles by Kent High Performance Cars, this also included a cambelt change and rebuilding the air conditioning compressor together with re-gassing the system. The vendors have enjoyed this Ferrari 550 immensely having covered around 12,000 miles throughout their stewardship and have used the car for the purpose in which it was manufactured. They have travelled throughout Europe, the UK and Ireland extensively. Considered to be one of the best driving grand tourers around, a Ferrari 550 Maranello offers a refined drive yet exhilarating when required.Interested parties should note that the private registration plate shown is to be retained by the vendor and a new, age-related registration issued instead.

1972 Ford Escort Mk. I to Mexico Specification Transmission: manualMileage:58703There was, in the early days of the Ford Escort, a higher performance version for rallies and racing. The Mk. I Escorts became very successful as a rally car and eventually went on to become one of the most successful rally cars of all time. The Ford works team was practically unbeatable in the late 1960's and early 1970's; arguably the Escort's greatest victory was in the 1970 London to Mexico World Cup Rally being driven by Finnish legend Hannu Mikkola. This gave rise to the famous Escort Mexico special edition road versions in honour of the rally car. The Mexico was built at Ford's Advanced Vehicle Operations (AVO) facility located at the Aveley Plant in South Essex. As well as higher performance engines and sports suspension, these models featured strengthened bodyshells, making them an ideal model for rallying. Today, Mk. I Escorts are still popular in the amateur rally scene. This lovely Ford Escort left the Ford factory in 1972 as an 1100L. Between 2010 and 2015 it was totally stripped down and rebuilt by Stephen Tilburn, the owner of Hilton Gott Volvo in Downham Market, Norfolk. The body was restored adding all the Type 49 additions bringing it up to Mexico specification and then resprayed Le Mans Green by the Hilton Gott Bodyshop. Mechanically it has been fully uprated, the 1600cc crossflow engine has been lightened and balanced also to Mexico specification and fitted with a sports exhaust manifold and exhaust system. The suspension has been uprated and it has an English rear axle and anti-tramp bars. It has Ford RS style wheels with Yokohama AO48 low profile tyres. The black interior received the same treatment being fitted with Ford RS style Beta cloth contour seats, a RS steering wheel and RS six dial instrument clocks. With the rising prices of the original Escort RS's and the Mexico, this is an opportunity to buy an Escort to the same specification at half the price.

1988 Austin Mini 1000 Transmission: automaticMileage:33320The Mini was made by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original is considered a British icon of the 1960s; with its space-saving, front-wheel drive layout, allowing 80% of the car's floorpan to be used for passengers and luggage. This influenced a generation of car makers, and in 1999, the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century, behind the Ford Model T. This distinctive, two-door car was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis, and was manufactured at the Longbridge and Cowley plants. The Mini Mk. I had three major UK updates; the Mk. II, the Clubman and the Mk. III. Within these were a series of variations, including an estate car, a pick-up and a van. The Mini Cooper and Cooper 'S' were sportier versions, and made successful racing cars, winning the Monte Carlo Rally four times from 1964 through to 1967. Initially, Minis were marketed under the Austin and Morris names; as the Austin Seven and Morris Mini Minor, until Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969.This remarkably well kept Mini 1000 City automatic has been well cared for throughout its life, covering only 33,320 miles from new. Our vendor, Mr. Warner purchased this example in November 1989 which was under a year after the first owner, a Mrs Smith, had purchased new from the Austin dealership. The interior trim and headlining are in very good order and the Russet Brown paintwork is certainly a credit to the car. Accompanying this vehicle is an impressive history file, including every MoT test certificate from new, as well as a wealth of servicing and repair bills. Original handbooks and owner's manual can also be found along with a V5C registration document and MoT test certificate valid until January 2024. Having been garaged and well looked after by our vendor for some 34 years, this is a collector's example with a history to support its place as a true classic Mini.Guide Price £7,000-£10,000

1965 Ford Mustang Fastback Transmission: manualMileage:65The Ford Mustang was the brainchild of Lee Iacocca and was branded as the first 'Pony Car', it was born out of a need to compete with the flood of European sports cars coming into the USA in the sixties. The first production Mustang rolled off the assembly line in Dearborn, Michigan on March 9th 1964 and was introduced to the public at the New York World's Fair on April 17th 1964. The Mustang was only available as a hardtop coupé and convertible until September 1964, it was the fastback that drew the interest of Carroll Shelby which extended the iconic reach of the Ford Mustang and firmly put it into the category of motoring legends. The Mustang sold over one million units in its first 18 months on the market and became a popular car to customise, from engine upgrades to racing stripes, no two Mustangs are often found the same. Ford kept the Mustang relatively cheap with a list price of $2,368, making the car extremely popular. This Mustang is an extremely desirable manual transmission fastback, painted in stunning Ivy Green, which was only available on the 1965 model year. The car was manufactured in Dearborn Michigan in May 1965 and fitted with the optional C-code 200bhp Windsor 289ci V8. The car was also specified with a limited-slip-differential and the special handling package. The original owner of the car was so fond of it that they kept it until circa 2003. The car arrived in the UK in 2004 and is now with only its second owner on UK shores, making it a three-owner car from new. The engine was rebuilt in 1983, only around 7,000 miles ago, some bodywork was also carried out at the same time. The gearbox was rebuilt less than 3,000 miles ago, the clutch and flywheel were also both replaced around the same time. New rear shocks were fitted in 2021 and the tyres were upgraded to modern radials in 2022, with geometry adjusted at the same time to suit. The general impression of this Mustang is one that suggests a large amount of originality, the car is nicely patinated and is perfect to be used and enjoyed as it sits, without the fear of ruining a box fresh show quality restored example. The only modification on the car, is the set of Minilite wheels, except for that, the car is completely standard throughout.

1982 Lancia Montecarlo Transmission: manualMileage:52225The Lancia Beta Montecarlo is a mid-engined sports car which was produced from 1975 through to 1982. Cars from 1975 to 1978 were known as a Lancia Beta Montecarlo and the latter cars produced from 1979 to 1982, were simply known as Lancia Montecarlo. Both series were offered in coupé and spider versions and were constructed by Pininfarina. The total production amounted to 3,835 first series Beta Montecarlo's and 1,940 second series, of which only 172 cars were right hand drive coupés.This particular example presents in largely original condition. The vendor had the aim to sympathetically refresh the car, retaining as much of the original paint as possible. The car had some repairs to the sills and outer door skins earlier in its life but on the whole, our vendor was so impressed with the condition of the car when he saw it, he decided to buy it. The interior presents in fantastic condition, showing it has clearly been in the hands of enthusiasts for its whole 41 years and 52,000 miles. Our vendor has spent a reasonable amount of money on the car whilst in his ownership, the largest invoice coming from Freelance Motors in Devon in 2018. The work carried out came to a total cost of £1,945.48, for work consisting of a Guy Croft racing exhaust, which gives a lovely tone without being too shouty. Other work included a wheel alignment, big end shells, sump replacement, front and rear springs, suspension poly-bushing, front shock absorber, a thorough service and various gaskets and mountings. The car has also been cared for by Darren Cooksey, who is hugely knowledgeable on Lancia Montecarlo's. He did a timing belt change, fuel pump change and recent carburettor rebuild, along with various other small jobs. This Montecarlo is an excellent example, which our vendor has enjoyed using regularly in the summer months and sometimes even uses it to commute to work. He reports the car is always a joy to drive.Guide price: £10,000-£15,000

1958 Austin Healey 100 / 6 Transmission: manualMileage:The 1958 Austin Healey 100/6 is an iconic British sports car that epitomises the golden age of motoring. 1978 MG B Roadster Transmission: manualMileage:98486Conceived in the late 1950s and launched in 1962, the MGB would turn out to be one of the most successful sports cars of all time. Attractively styled, cheap to run and easily maintained by the home mechanic, the 'B' carried on MG's traditional role of providing affordable, sports car motoring for the ordinary enthusiast. The MGB was mechanically similar to the preceding MGA, though with a heavier, unitary construction bodyshell. To compensate for the newcomer's increased weight the existing B-Series engine was stretched from 1,622 to 1,798cc, while the MGB's aerodynamically efficient lines made the most of the maximum available 95bhp to achieve a top speed which just bested the magic 'ton'. A 'right first time' design that changed little over the years apart from the adoption of a more robust five-main-bearing engine in 1965 (fitted from the start of GT production that autumn) a minor facelift for 1970 and the adoption of plastic bumpers (to comply with US legislation) for 1975, the 'B' enjoyed an 18 year production life and sales totalling in excess of 500,000 cars. Its popularity remaining undiminished today, the classic MGB is one of the easiest sports cars of its era to run and maintain in the 21st Century, being served by a worldwide industry of spare parts and service providers.Originally registered on 1st September 1978, this MGB is finished in Blaze with a black interior. Having had only two owners from new, this Roadster has covered a little over 2,000 miles per year throughout its 45 years on British roads. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a large history file, this MGB is a great way into classic car motoring for a modest outlay. Maintenance on these cars is relatively simple and the marque is very well supported by the Owners' Club. A pretty British sports car which never loses appeal.Guide £4,500-£6,000

2006 BMW M5 Transmission: manualMileage:15203The 2006 BMW V10 M5 is a high-performance saloon car that redefines driving exhilaration. Its heart is a 5.0 litre V10 engine, producing 500 horsepower of symphonic power, giving it a remarkable 0-60mph time of just over 4 seconds. This masterpiece of engineering is mated to a seven-speed SMG transmission, allowing lightning-fast shifts. The M5's aggressive exterior design, subtle aerodynamic enhancements, and quad exhaust tips hint at its potent capabilities. Inside, it blends luxury and sportiness seamlessly, featuring advanced technology and driver-focused controls. The 2006 BMW V10 M5 stands as a captivating fusion of precision engineering and dynamic prowess. This BMW E60 M5 powerhouse was originally registered in July 2006 and has only covered 15,203 miles. Presenting in Silverstone metallic with a contrasting black extended Merino leather interior, this well-equipped example benefits from satellite navigation, factory fitted sunroof, heads-up display and is fitted with a stylish Hamann motorsport bodykit with black Hamann alloys and red brake calipers. The vendor of this impressive autobahn cruiser is only its second owner and has only completed 4,200 miles in his 10-year tenure. During which time the car has been dry stored and attached to a battery conditioner. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a fresh MoT test certificate, this BMW must be the lowest mileage and highest specified example available in the market.

1979 Morgan 45020 Transmission: manualMileage:14285With its 1950 Plus 4, Morgan moved upmarket in size, weight, power and price. The British manufacturer realised it might lose some potential customers but was happy to live with the situation for a while. By mid-decade though, the Plus 4 had become more potent and Morgan felt it should, again, field a lower-power car. This explains the revival of the Morgan 4/4 though it was completely different from the car that carried that title during 1935-1950. In fact, the new 4/4 was closely related to the Plus 4. The main difference was engines, purchased from Ford instead of Triumph. The re-born 4/4 began production in 1956 and ran all the way through until 2018. Like other Morgans, it always had the same chassis design, body construction and styling, a kind of technological time warp that customers keep coming back for. Morgan built old-fashioned cars the old-fashioned way and vehicles of that nature just won't be hurried. This particular example wears its 44 years with pride and our vendor reports it is a joy to drive. Presented in Old English White with a tan interior, the paintwork is in overall good condition, with a few age-related marks which are to be expected through proper use over the years. The car is understood to have covered a total mileage of circa 66,000, in the history file there is document from Tim Packer Limited, Morgan specialists denoting a speedometer change in June 1996, at which time the odometer read 51,000 miles, the car has covered less than 15,000 miles since. Our vendor has cared for the car well during his 17 year ownership, having a new water pump, thermostat and auxiliary drive belt fitted in May 2018. Following that, the carburettor was rebuilt and a manual choke was fitted in July 2020. Most recently, the car underwent some structural works on the chassis in May 2023, to ensure an MoT test certificate could be obtained, despite the fact the car is now tax and MoT exempt due to its age. The car comes to auction with V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until June 2024, various invoices, a spare exhaust back box, tonneau and side screens.

1970 Volvo 1800E Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:15845With truly international credentials, this modern departure from Volvo's standard fare was planned in Sweden, built both in the UK and Sweden but designed by a Swede working at Carrozzeria Frua in Italy. Given the streamlined and elegant lines that adorn this model, it was produced both as a two-door coupé and latterly as a shooting brake. Initially marketed as a P1800S, the 'S' standing for Sweden, the power output was increased in 1970 with the addition of Bosch fuel injection hence P1800E, the 'E' standing for Einspritzung, the German for fuel injection allowing for a top speed of, incredibly for the time, 118mph.Supplied in Inca yellow with a contrasting black leatherette trim, the quality here is clear to see. Maintenance has been relentless over the years with very little reference to cost. As a result, the history file is extensive with numerous invoices, old MoT test certificates, original owners handbook and detailed information including engine-rebuilds, fuel systems overhaul, much additional mechanical work with, in 2016, all sills and outriggers replaced with a CD detailing works done including paint. With only 58 P1800E models registered with the DVLA (of which 32 are declared SORN), this is a rare car, even more so in this outstanding condition and they are quickly rising in popularity as a great 70's icon. There is little wonder why this was the motorcar of choice by the most elegant of detectives, Simon Templar himself, in the long-running TV show, The Saint.

1960 BMW Isetta 300 Transmission: manualMileage:The Isetta is an Italian-designed microcar built under licence in a number of different countries including Germany and the United Kingdom. Produced in the post war years, at a time when cheap, short distance transportation was most needed, it became one of the most successful and influential city cars ever created. Because of its egg shape and bubble-like windows, it became known as a 'bubble car'; a name then later given to other similar vehicles. The Isetta was, in 1955, the world's first mass-produced car and was the top-selling single-cylinder car in the world with a total of 161,728 units sold. BMW made the Isetta its own, redesigning most of the car so much so that none of the parts between a BMW Isetta Moto Coupé and an Iso Isetta could be interchangeable. While it retained the 'Bubble Window' styling, the BMW version differed from the Italian model in that the headlamps were fixed separately to the sides of the bodywork and it carried the BMW badge below the windscreen. This particular example was assembled in the United Kingdom in 1960 and was purchased by our vendor in 1968, it was used regularly for the next 15 or so years, before being laid up in storage in the early 80's, where it has stayed ever since. Our vendor was a part of the Isetta owners' club for a number of years, being hugely enthusiastic about these groundbreaking city cars, he remarked that this car served him exceedingly well for a number of years, he always garaged it throughout his ownershp and comments that it was rather popular with the ladies too. The car has been stored for around 40 years, so will require restoration, but it appears to have been stored well and has held up very well indeed. The car is supplied with a large folder of old Isetta owners' club correspondence, original parts lists, wiring diagram, 10th anniversary Isetta owners' club owner's manual, original buff logbook detailing previous owners, current V5C registration document and various other interesting pieces of history and spares. This example will prove to be a very exciting and rewarding project for someone and will be offered without reserve, so why not have a go?

1961 Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster (3.8 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:17Launched at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, the Jaguar E-Type was nothing short of a revelation. With its heady blend of supercar performance, breathtaking styling and low-price tag, the newcomer left rivals reeling and customers clamouring. Early sportscar racing success at the hands of Graham Hill and Roy Salvadori amongst others helped cement its reputation. Built as a monocoque with a front sub-frame to cradle the engine, the model's combination of all-round independent suspension (torsion-bar front/coil-sprung rear) rack and pinion steering and four-wheel disc brakes gave it excellent road holding and handling capabilities. Fed by triple SU HD8 carburettors and topped with a 'straight port' DOHC cylinder head, its indomitable 3781cc straight-six engine was quoted as developing some 265bhp and 260lbft of torque. Allied to a four-speed Moss gearbox (with synchromesh on second, third and fourth), it reputedly enabled the E-Type to sprint from 0-60mph in 6.9 seconds and on to 150mph.This fabulous E-Type has been lovingly restored over a long period, the result is a beautiful example of a 'flat-floor' very early 3.8 roadster. Finished in the delightful colour combination of Golden Sand with Tan interior, no stone has been left unturned in this nut and bolt restoration. The matching number engine has been rebuilt, as has the Moss gearbox. The rear axle has been overhauled and a new clutch fitted. The brakes, suspension and hoses have all been replaced. The paintwork has been carried out to a very good standard as has the re-trim. Early E-Types have lots of unique features to later cars, the doors were built in three parts and the rear boot drain tubes in the centre to name a couple. Eagle eyed enthusiasts will note this car has outside bonnet locks on the bonnet. This feature was only on the first 500 cars manufactured, with the feature stopping on chassis number 875385 on the US specification roadsters. This car is 18 cars outside of that range, it is thought the bonnet locks were fitted at a later date. The vendor has applied for the car to be UK registered and it is hoped this will be completed prior to auction. This really is a stunning E-Type that has covered minimal mileage since its nut and bolt restoration and will therefore require a shakedown period, with minor adjustments and repairs expected for a few weeks.

1990 Maserati Karif Transmission: manualMileage:39699The Karif or Tipo AM339 is a luxury coupé produced by Maserati between 1988 and 1991. Designed to mix luxury with sporty looks and agile handling, the Karif was announced with a limited production run of 255 examples. This is exactly what modern manufacturers do now and with great success, however only 221 Karif's were sold with late cars being sold long after this build date. Built on the same shortened chassis as the Zagato-bodied Maserati Spyder, they added a fixed notchback roof and used a more powerful iteration of their 'Bi-turbo engine', a 2.9 litre V6, giving around 260bhp. Reviewed in the motoring press at the time as having 'sawn off looks, shotgun performance'.This is a rather special example, we are informed it was originally built for the Managing Director of Maserati in the UK, but the company went into receivership in 1990 and the car was never delivered. The car is therefore painted in Dark Aquamarine, which is understood to be a unique colour, the other Karif's were all in either black, red or white. Our vendor has owned several Karif's, including owning this example on two separate occasions. The car presents in excellent condition, commensurate with its low mileage. The car comes with a good history detailing various works over the years, and has spent recent years in dry storage, only covering very minimal mileage during our vendors current ownership. The Maserati Karif is an extremely rare car already, but the opportunity to own one of just 25 right hand drive examples, in a unique colour is something which should not be missed.

Other work on the exterior included stainless steel bumpers, new near-side front wing and door skins and new rubbers for the lights, windows and doors. The work continued beneath the surface too, both subframes were replaced and powder coated, a new S pack steering rack was fitted and the suspension and braking systems were overhauled. In total there are invoices for around £4,500 for the mechanical parts alone. The car comes with its original handbooks and various invoices and old MoT test certificates. 1955 Riley RME Transmission: manualMileage:51657Despite producing some fine small saloons and sporting cars while carving out an enviable competition record for itself during the early 1930s, Riley had lost its battle to remain independent and was part of the Nuffield Organisation by the decade's end. Rileys of the immediate post-war years were, nevertheless, recognisably products of the 'old firm'. Most popular of these was the 1.5 litre RMA sports saloon, which came with torsion bar independent front suspension, hydro-mechanical brakes and Riley's classic twin-camshaft, overhead-valve engine in four-cylinder guise. An improved version, the RME, with fully hydraulic brakes appeared in 1952 and continued in production until 1955.This example of a late Riley RME was first registered on 4th January 1955 and is presented in Brunswick Green over black coachwork with complementary green leather trim. This lovely well-maintained example shows the perfect balance of patina with the 1.5 litre engine starting on the button when inspected. The car is accompanied by a wealth of paperwork from invoices to owners' club magazines and even spares. The front seats have been retrimmed but are very well matched to the original rear, the headlining and woodwork are also in very good order throughout. In 2018 the car underwent a £4,000 engine overhaul, and after his purchase in 2020 our vendor has continued to maintain and improve the car. This RME benefits from a new radiator and the history file demonstrates a new water pump kit and master cylinder in 2022. A reliable, solid example of the wonderful classic Riley which comes with a lovely history including original manuals, toolkit and invoices. A delightful classic in good condition which is ready to be enjoyed.Guide Price £7,000-£10,000

1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Transmission: automaticMileage:18133The Ford Mustang was the brainchild of Lee Iacocca and was branded as the first 'Pony Car', borne out of a need to compete with the flood of European sportscars coming into the USA in the sixties. The first production Mustang rolled off the assembly line in Dearborn, Michigan on 9th March 1964 and was introduced to the public at the New York World's Fair on 17th April 1964. Legendary Texan racing driver, Carroll Shelby had been campaigning Ford Mustangs with considerable success in America, winning the SCCA's production title three years running. Capitalising on his success, Shelby began manufacturing modified Mustangs, which were officially sanctioned by Ford and sold through selected dealerships. The first Shelby Mustang, the GT350, arrived in 1965 powered by a modified version of the Ford's 289ci, small block, V8 engine with a four-speed Borg Warner manual gearbox. This lovely 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback was import from Europe by a Swedish gentleman who had properties in both Sweden and the UK. Purchased by the current owner in 2021 and placed in his collection of American muscle cars, he only registered the car in the UK in June of this year. At some time, this Mustang has been gone through and up rated with a later 390GT big block V8 engine married to an automatic gearbox. Finished in silver with a burgundy interior, this very good Mustang Fastback is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in August 2024 and two sets of keys. This is a very useable Ford Mustang Fastback and is an ideal candidate for the possibility being rebuilt as a 'Eleanor' from the film 'Gone in 60 Seconds' or as a Steve McQueen 'Bullitt' recreation.

1982 Porsche 911 Targa Transmission: manualMileage:104418The iconic 911 can trace its history back some 44 years; its family tree containing such memorable cars as the 911S, the 2.7 Carrera RS and the notorious Turbo. The landmark SC replaced all non-Turbo 911s, first being presented to the general public at the 1977 Frankfurt Motor Show. Featuring 7Jx16 Fuchs rear rims and flared wings, it was offered in either Coupé or Targa form. Power came from the three litre Carrera engine, detuned to 180bhp and a five-speed 915 transmission. This was still good enough to return a 0-60mph time of 6.4 seconds and would propel the car on to a maximum of 144mph.Originally registered on 1st January 1982, this Porsche Targa presents in delightful condition. The coachwork is virtually unmarked as is the black and grey interior. Clearly this has been a very well looked after example, as confirmed by the significant history folder. The fastidious private owner talks with enthusiasm about this 911 Targa and clearly, he will be sad to see it go. We are advised NCF 681X drives with no known faults. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a current MoT test certificate valid until 25th June 2024 and a good history folder, this Porsche is a great example of the fast appreciating 1970's and 1980's 911.

1961 Ford Zephyr 6 Mk. II Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:75472The Zephyr was first displayed at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1950. The Mk. I Zephyr and Zodiac were the first British cars to use the MacPherson strut independent front suspension in mass production. The Mk. II Zephyr and Zodiacs had shared the same body as the new Zodiac and Zephyrs launched in 1962 but shared very few body panels thereafter. The Mk. II range was much more popular.  A useful modernisation of the original car, the Mk. II added fins and chrome to the equation as well as more interior room. Ford's advertising referred to them as the 'Three Graces', implying a feminine and graceful nature. There is no doubt that the performance of the Zephyr and the Zodiac Series II models was restricted by the rudimentary exhaust system, but with a well-known, Raymond Mays complete engine conversion, it boosted their performance figures. Autocar Magazine recorded a standing quarter mile of 17.6s in 1957. As well as a three-speed manual gearbox, there was an optional overdrive and from 1956 a Borg Warner DG automatic transmission. At first, drum brakes were fitted all round but front discs became optional in 1960 and standard from mid 1961. A convertible with overdrive was tested by The Motor magazine in 1961; it had a top speed of 88.3mph and could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 17.0 seconds. The test car list price was £1,193.This delightful Zephyr 6 Convertible is in very good condition and is offered in Caribbean Turquoise over Dover White with matching trim. The car was restored in 2005 according to invoices contained within the history file. This car and a sister car were used by ZZ Cars for weddings and events throughout the 2000's before being sold to a Ford enthusiast in 2014. This three-speed manual example with optional overdrive also boasts a continental kit; this can be seen at the rear of the car, giving the Zephyr that iconic American look that was so sought after throughout the 1960's. The gearbox was rebuilt in 2016 and the car has been lovingly cherished by the vendor, always garaged and well cared for. More recently, the car has been garaged and cared for by the vendor and in 2016, he had the gearbox rebuilt. The manually operated roof is in good order and complements the fabulous look of the car. The Zephyr was an icon of British motoring at the time and they are widely recognised as a highly sought after classic marque.

1976 Mercedes-Benz 409 Fire Truck Camper Transmission: manualMileage:25000This fabulous bespoke 1976 Fire truck, now converted into a camper, is a super ECO model fitted with an LPG fuel system and solar panels which enables you to be completely off grid. Purchased from the German fire service in 2020 having covered very few miles, the truck has spent its life stored inside a fire station and therefore has remained in great condition. Unsurprisingly, it had been well maintained and was undersealed from new; the vendor even obtained the Mercedes service documents. Before the conversion began, all service work was completed with new filters, gearbox oil change, axle oil, brake fluid and antifreeze replaced, the fuel tank was cleaned, all brakes stripped and cleaned with Mercedes parts used and we are informed no expense was spared. The conversion retained the division from the back cab from the front so keeping full privacy when you sleep, with fantastic views when both shutters are opened. A full double bed on a platform is in the rear private section, with a projector screen so you can watch movies in bed. In the front cab there is a sofa which pulls out into a double bed creating the 'four berth' should it be required. The bodywork has benefitted from a complete respray inside and out and the vendor states that the engine starts every time and is incredibly reliable which is something you should expect from what was originally an emergency response vehicle! There is a touch screen pioneer sound system and sub-woofer with USB chargers and 13amp plugs combined with the solar panels, mains battery charger and 220 amp leisure battery with a ABSO split charge relay and 1500w inverter. There is also a 240v mains hook up, 240 isolator and fuse board. Outside under the Fiamma F45 awning there is an LED light and inside 12v dimmer lights. There is no indoor kitchen because the vendor preferred to cook outside with the full awning and fold up kitchen, but ultimately with the power options available, an induction cooker could be easily adapted to the front cabin should you wish. This petrol engine truck has a five-speed manual gearbox, which we are informed does 25/30 mpg with a switchable LPG tank so you can reduce the fuel bills on any long journey. Classified as an Historic vehicle, therefore no road tax or MoT test certificate are required. Used regularly throughout the pandemic with regular trips to Cornwall ever since, this is a great off-grid camper. It will sit comfortably at 50/60mph and spend all weekend as the coolest in the campsite! It is all about the experience and the fun of driving a fire engine. Weighing just 3.5 tonne it can also be driven on a regular license.Guide Price £12,000-£20,000

2004 Porsche 911 / 996 Turbo S Transmission: manualMileage:61800The 996 model is a superb car; quick, reliable, well-made and representing the birth of the water-cooled 911. With a wide range of models on offer, the most iconic is, of course, the Turbo. Featuring four-wheel drive and a 3.6 litre, intercooled engine derived from the 1998 Le Mans winning GT-1 car pushing out 420bhp and hitting 60mph in a whisker over four seconds, this is genuine supercar territory. The 996 was seen as a more relaxed and usable 911; however, in Turbo guise, the driver would get the best of both worlds; a luxury leather interior with every creature comfort combined with the ability to drop the hammer and reach a top speed of a claimed 190mph. In 2002, the X50 package was offered as an option on the Turbo that included larger K24 turbochargers and intercoolers, a revised ECU and quad-pipe exhaust which raised power output to 444bhp, however in 2005, Porsche introduced the Turbo S model available as either a coupé or cabriolet. The Turbo S was essentially a 996 turbo with the X50 option but also included PCCB, six-disc CD changer and aluminium-faced instruments. Worldwide production for the 996 Turbo S (including both Coupé and Cabriolet) was 1,563 cars. This makes this model very limited in numbers.A collectable and rare example of the 911 presented in Artic Silver with contrasting black leather trim, this example of the iconic Turbo S was first registered on 4th October 2004. Originally a Porsche Press car and featured in magazines, copies of which can be found in the history file. Costing when new a shade under £100,000, this example has covered a mere 61,800 miles and presents well for a privately owned example. Importantly, a manual example of the ultimate incarnation of the 996 Turbo, this is one of just 1,563 units produced of a desirable Turbo S boasting the X50 engine and believed to be one of less than 60 UK manual cars. Upon inspection it was advised the car would benefit from new tyres and a wheel refurbishment, but our vendor has sensibly taken this into account when pricing the car allowing a new owner to adorn the Turbo S with their own choice. The bodywork and trim are all in very good order and the car recently obtained an MoT test certificate which is valid until July 2024 with the only advisories regarding tyre wear. The car boasts just six former keepers in its 19 years along with the original magazine from its use a press car and a large folder of paperwork and invoices. We are informed the car drives very well and is still eye wateringly fast as it should and, as a flagship Turbo S made at the end of the 996 generation's life, comes with the X50 option pack as factory standard. This includes larger turbochargers and intercoolers that propel the car to 60mph in four seconds and combined with Porsche's excellent stability control, makes for a sensational and satisfying drive. This stunning example is an ideal usable modern classic investment that can be fully enjoyed at a fraction of the original cost.

1986 BMW E28 M535i Transmission: manualMileage:109566The E28 BMW 5-Series, released in September 1981, was BMW's breakthrough executive saloon. Designed by the iconic BMW designer Claus Luthe, the E28 was initially sold with a combination of four and six-cylinder engines, but in 1984 BMW revealed the very first M5 at the Amsterdam motor show. When it was launched 42 years ago, the new BMW E28 5-Series looked like little more than a facelifted BMW E12 5-Series, a car that had been around since 1972. The E12 had earned itself a fine reputation as a well-made, mid-range saloon that ranged from the 518 to the hot-rodded 528i and M535i.The E28 5-Series range started with the 518, powered by a 90bhp four-cylinder known by its M10 engine code. A 518 with optional five-speed gearbox and power steering was next up the chain, followed by six-cylinder cars, all with five speeds and PAS, with the 125bhp M20 520i and 150bhp M30 525i, plus the 184bhp M30 528i with standard alloy wheels and electric front windows. A three-speed ZF automatic box was optional on all six-cylinder cars as well. The 535i came in two forms, the M535i with the plastic bodykit (bumpers, sills and arch spats) and special metric wheels, plus a metal-bumper version that looked like most other models but had the same special wheels and arch spats. Both models had the Bilstein dampers and M Technic suspension. The M535i was by far the more popular model; the metal bumper version was discontinued but remained available to special order and was renamed 535i SE. This is an exceptional unmolested example of the super cool E28 M535i with the all-important dog leg first gearbox. We are informed the car has led a very gentle life and has been maintained exceptionally well by the fastidious owner while sitting on original old stock E28 M5 wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. The Diamond Black bodywork is beautiful after a significant body restoration costing in excess of £10,000, all the floors are solid and jacking points excellent. The invoices for recent maintenance are endless but include, a new master cylinder, accumulator, bushes, exhaust, shock absorbers, viscous fan, front brake calipers, rear main seal, new control arms, plus much more. Boasting a great specification including electric sunroof, rear head rests, on board computer, head light wash wipe, rear blind and a Blaupunkt Bremen radio to give you the period look but with modern functionality. Present is a great service history with ample service and parts invoices, original dealer plates and the vendor who has owned the car for the last four years assures us it drives faultlessly and is ready to enjoy and impress at any car show. The original full book pack is there with original dealer cards and service book. With an MoT test certificate valid until March 2024, this is a very well 'sorted' and exceptionally well presented example of one of the 80's most iconic cars. * Interested parties should note that the private registration plate shown is to be retained by the vendor and a new, age-related registration issued instead

1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Transmission: automaticMileage:19971The release of the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud and Bentley 'S' series in 1955 was surely one of the main reasons behind the demise of most of the few remaining coachbuilders still producing bodies for Rolls-Royce and Bentley chassis. The Silver Cloud with a beautifully proportioned body, was a car which looked so 'right' that there was little incentive for customers to order bespoke coachwork, and therefore soon afterwards both Freestone & Webb and Hooper ceased coachbuilding. The Silver Cloud II was introduced in 1959 replacing the Silver Cloud I. Little changed externally but it featured the 6.2 litre V8 engine. Performance was greatly improved and the top speed was now raised to 114mph. The main improvements though were in acceleration and torque. Power steering became standard and electrically operated windows were now available as an option. This Silver Cloud II had led quite an interesting life. It was owned by Christopher Leefe between 1974-2008, who is best known as the author of the Rolls-Royce Alpine Compendium, of which a signed 1st edition copy is included in the sale. Mr Leefe relocated to Germany at some point in the cars past and decided to take the car with him. During its time in Germany, it was cared for by British car specialists M + R Automobile in Günding, just north of Munich. There are several invoices from M + R Automobile, including one for some comprehensive restoration work carried out in 2007. The car comes with an extensive history file, with many invoices dating back to 2000. Also included in the sale are copies of the extensive factory build sheets detailing all dates at various stages of the manufacturing process, a Silver Cloud II brochure and an original,  bound owner's manual. The toolkit is also believed to be the original and the vendor informs us that it is complete. The overall condition of the car is very good, the bulk of the restoration work was carried out some 16 years ago now, but it was clearly done to a high standard as it has held up well. The interior appears to be original, offering a very nicely patinated feel without the need for any urgent attention. The paintwork has a good shine and the two-tone colour scheme which the car wears today suits it perfectly. The car has been upgraded with electronic ignition and a stainless steel exhaust. A new battery was fitted in September 2022 and the car has covered just 500 miles since its most recent service. The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud is possibly one of the most elegant luxury cars on the market and represents amazing value for money. Offered to auction due to a house move, this example will be missed by its owner but it is ready for its next custodian to enjoy.

2006 Ferrari F430 Spider Transmission: manualMileage:25347The Ferrari F430 was produced by Ferrari from 2004 to 2009. A successor to the Ferrari 360, it debuted at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. Designed by Pininfarina, under the guidance of Frank Stephenson, the body styling of the F430 was revised from its predecessor, the Ferrari 360, to improve its aerodynamic efficiency. Although the drag coefficient remained the same, downforce was greatly enhanced. Despite sharing the same basic Alcoa aluminium chassis, roof line, doors and glass, the car looked significantly different from the 360. A great deal of Ferrari heritage was included in the exterior design. At the rear, the Enzo's tail lights and interior vents were added and the car's name was etched into the Testarossa-styled driver's side mirror. The large oval openings in the front bumper were reminiscent of Ferrari racing models from the 60s, specifically the 156 'sharknose' Formula One car and 250 TR61 Le Mans cars of Phil Hill. This Ferrari F430 Spider was originally registered on 28th April 2006. It is finished in the fabulous colour combination of Grigio Silverstone and Sand interior. The specification is good with the car having been fitted with the following options when new; aluminium brake calipers, electric seats, Suderia badges and a high-power stereo system. The condition is certainly commensurate with the cars low mileage, the car is kept in professional storage facilities when not being used. This is a genuine UK supplied right hand drive example and has the attractive benefit of being fitted with a manual gearbox. These are great fun cars to drive with ample power available under your right foot and an engine note that puts a smile on your face. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 5th July 2024 together with a history folder. A delightful example and well worth a look.

1979 Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino Transmission: manualMileage:63000The 308 GT4 was a ground-breaking model for Ferrari in several ways; it was the first production Ferrari to feature the mid-engined V8 layout that would become the bulk of the company's business in subsequent decades and was the first production Ferrari to feature Bertone (rather than Pininfarina) bodywork. The GT4 was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in November 1973 and featured angular lines entirely different from its curvaceous two-seater brother, the Dino 246. The styling was controversial at the time with some journalists comparing it to the Bertone-designed Lancia Stratos and Lamborghini Urraco. It finally gained the 'Prancing Horse' badge in May 1976 which replaced the Dino badges on the bonnet, wheels, and the steering wheel. The chassis was based on the Dino 246 but was stretched to make room for the second row of seats. The overall cockpit design was considered futuristic matched by external wind-cheating bodywork. The desirability levels of these Ferraris are quietly ballooning with prices, quite rightly, following suit.Finished in the perfect combination of Rosso Chiaro 599. 5. 190 Salchi with Pelle Sabbia VM 3234 and Alcantara inserts, this example of the V8 308 GT4 Dino presents with beautiful originality. The car currently resides on brand new 16 Superformance original five-spoke design alloys in gold and is currently fitted with a 'quick' steering rack, the original is available with the car as are the original 14 wheels. An original right hand drive UK supplied example, this stunning Dino was subject to Classiche evaluation by Ferrari in 2009 and has been certified ever since. Since purchasing the car in 1985, the second owner had ensured that Graypaul Ferrari of Nottingham cared for the car continuously, earning and ensuring its ongoing Classiche status. Further to this yearly maintenance, Graypaul also bestowed on the car a full engine and gearbox rebuild, with clutch replacement, within the last five years. Complete with a wonderful box full of history including two large folders, Classiche folder, along with Ferrari parts catalogue and workshop manual, the original tools also accompanying the car. You would be hard pressed to find a better example, something Ferrari Classiche can certify to.

1985 Land Rover 90 Transmission: manualMileage:92669The 1985 Land Rover 90 is an iconic off-road vehicle that embodies ruggedness and adventure. This compact 4x4 boasts a timeless design characterized by its boxy silhouette, signature grille, and durable construction. Powered by a range of engines, including diesel and petrol options, it offered reliable performance in various terrains. This impressive Land Rover has just benefitted from a full restoration to the very popular heritage style. The starting point for this work was a solid 1985 registered 90 model that underwent an overhaul of the bulkhead and galvanising of the chassis which was then raptor coated for extra protection and rugged appearance. New brake lines, fuel tank, tow bar and drop hitch were fitted as well as new steering bars, sump guard, suspension springs and shock absorbers and galvanised shock towers. Waxoil was then applied for even greater protection. The body has been fully disassembled, repaired and painted in Atlantic Green, and then painstakingly re-assembled nut bolt and rivet, all catches, hinges, and any other fittings overhauled. All new window rubbers, door rubbers, gaskets and seals were added. The interior was kept as basic as possible but trying to encorporate comfort to, with that in mind a new set of Exmoor trim seat covers were fitted. The specification includes heated front seats, rear fold benches, floor mats, CD player and hidden speaker. It could possibly benefit from a new pair of door cards as they have a few small marks on them from seatbelts. The engine, gearbox and axles have been fully serviced. The exterior of the vehicle is very detailed and features front heritage grille and heritage badge, LED headlights , full LED light kit all round with rear floodlights that we are informed are incredible. The list continues with a set of five wolf steel wheels fitted with a new set of Goodyear wrangler tyres as per factory specification, puma bonnet, chequer wing tops, wing vents, series bezels and a galvanised bumper. A black roof with a sunroof was chosen to make it a little different from the rest. Old style doors with the stronger door handles complete the retro look. With a restoration cost in excess of £25,000 this land Rover deserves serious investigation by any interested party.
