A Leonidas 18 ct gold gentlemans wristwatch circa 1950, with triple calendar and chronograph function with manual winding movement, with +/- 35 mm case, the rear marked 448458 (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The back cover is stamped to the interior 18k 750. The movement does wind and is currently ticking away. The second-hand stop start mechanism works on the upper right-hand button and the lower button returns the second hand to the 12 position. We have not had the watch running long enough to see whether all subsidiary dials and the date are operating. The seconds dial to the left clearly is. The date positioning of the subsidiary dials has now altered from the time that the catalogue photograph was taken indicating that these dials are operational.

A Tissot Lisboa limited edition wristwatch, with original case and instruction manual dated 1998. CONDITION REPORT: The watch is in clearly very good order and looks to have barely been worn. It is ticking away in the saleroom. The hands adjust as they should. The strap and buckle are original. The case is in extremely good order and still has its upper plastic cover. The cushion on which the watch sits has perished and some of the outer cover has transferred itself to the strap. This should easily remove.

Six vintage wristwatches, including Oris, Camy, Timor, Services etc. CONDITION REPORT: The Oris watch with the gold-coloured case seems to be ticking away as does the Camy automatic with black dial. The Services manual wristwatch with seconds dial winds and appears to be ticking away. The Ernest Borel automatic wristwatch runs for approximately 10 seconds or so when agitated. The Swatch and Timor watches are not working at all. The three watches that are running have been for the duration of time taken to prepare the report but we can give no guarantee as to how long they will actually run for. The only mark to the rear of the Timor watch is the numeral 2 over a serial number 29028.
