Unusual Collection of Ephemera Including Log Books to a Civilian Pilot Capt G.S.Jupp, after RAF training during WWII which is detailed very comprehensively 1942-1945 he joins Skyways, a private British airline (February 1947). Skyways soon became established as the largest operator on non-scheduled air services in Europe. Included is an original Avro York Operators manual and it was in one of these aircraft that Skyways operated its first flight. Included is a large quantity of training manuals, eg Meteorology, as well as some interesting RAF & other aviation maps. Interesting and large collection providing an insight into early commercial aviation after WWII.

1950s gentlemen's Omega 'Cosmic' full calendar moonphase wristwatch, the circular dial with dot and Arabic hour markers, day and month apertures, outer date track and date hand, subsidiary seconds and moonphase dial, Omega seventeen jewel manual-wind movement marked - 27DLPC, numbered - 10934539, in stainless steel case, on brown leather strap, case 35mm diameter CONDITION REPORT The watch is currently working, although we cannot guarantee the accuracy of its timekeeping and functions. The day, date, month and moon functions seem to work and adjust correctly and again we cannot guarantee the accuracy of these functions. The watch seems to be in excellent, original and unrestored condition. The dial has surface dirt and staining, and general wear commensurate with age. The back of the case has marks caused by contact with a NATO - style strap, there are no inscriptions. Any service history, repairs, restoration, or replacement parts are unknown. No box, non-Omega strap and buckle

The watch was purchased as a 21st birthday present to the vendor's father. The watch seems to be in excellent original unrestored condition. The vendor has the main spring replaced approximately 20-30 years ago but any service history or replacement of parts is unknown. Possibly still the original leather strap which is now very worn, still has the original gold buckle. Dial in very good condition, but might benefit from a clean. Case is very good condition, no presentation inscriptions, wear commensurate with age
