The MoT certificates date back to 2001. The owner's manual and radio removal tools are also present. This is one such Saab. Starting life in 1993 (right at the end of the original 900 model's production run) as a low pressure turbo (LPT) 900 S , it was modified by Abbot Racing with a T7 upgrade prior to its first sale - with just nine miles on its clock. The T7 kit included Abbott's 'Chargecooler', intercooler, a stiffer spring in the wastegate, and a reprogrammed ECU, giving 175bhp (instead of the standard 145bhp), no turbo lag, and no compromise in drivability. There were four previous owners - one being a Saab enthusiast who had it for 17 years followed by a marque specialist - before the current vendor, who acquired it in 2016. Under his custodianship, the car has had new headlining, clutch, radiator and some light restoration and welding to the offside front wing, plus refurbished three-spoke alloy wheels. New drive belts and ball joints are also recent additions. The history folder contains most MoTs back to 1996, which confirm the current mileage of 149,000 miles, as well as a range of invoices, with the bulk from 2016 onwards.
