CORRECTED (LOWER) ODOMETER READING 1995 Audi 80 Cabriolet 2.0 - Odometer reading 170,300 miles- MOTd until 29th September 2022 with no advisories - Manual, 2.0l petrol producing 115 bhp Audis fourth generation of the 80 aimed to introduce the model into the German luxury mid-sized vehicle segment which was dominated by BMW and Mercedes-Benz at the time. It did so successfully with the B4 models being extremely popular especially amongst those in the corporate world. This blue Audi Cabriolet has been adored by its current owner for the last year and a half. A former mechanic, he exclaims that he has regularly maintained the car and dry-stored it in his garage since ownership. He mentions that he personally installed new discs, brake pads and hoses (front and back) along with changing the timing belt, water pump and thermostat distributor cap 1000 miles ago with receipts to backup part purchases. It is clear from its recent MOT and from visual inspection that it has been well cared for mechanically as well as aesthetically. The bodywork and interior appear smart with only a minor scratch on the lower passenger side door that lets it down and the car comes with its original leather binder filled with history. The car includes 2 keys, alarmed central locking, electric windows and power steering which is all working. There has been an upgraded stereo unit fitted which allows the driver to make hands free phone calls and play music. This combined with its half blue leather interior makes the cabin a lovely place to be. This retro cabriolet offers a great cheap usable modern classic that is only appreciating and will see you through the months in 2022. - Our buyers premium on all cars, motorbikes and scooters is 10% + VAT. - We encourage any interested parties to inspect the vehicle on our viewing days and prior to sale on Thursday 2nd December to satisfy themselves on the car's condition, please check our buying terms and conditions for cars and bikes available online or via email. - Transportation options may be available, please contact us for a quote.
1987 Renault 5 TL 'Rio' Limited Edition - Rare 'Rio' UK only Special Edition - Odometer reading 57,355 miles - One lady owned nearly 30 years - MOT expires 31st July 2022 - Cherished Registration Number comes with the vehicle Renault's '5' is a four-passenger, three or five-door, front-engine, front wheel drive hatchback supermini manufactured and marketed by one of France's most successful automobile companies over two generations: 19721985 (also called R5) and 19841996. The compact, small car market was thriving in the UK during the 1980's and the R5 was significantly Renaults best selling UK model. The second generation shape (released in 1985) featured a new transverse engine and gearbox layout, galvanised & zinc coated structural elements, improved efficiency engines, 20% greater glass area, and uprated safety features. The driving distance range of the new 1,108cc 'TL' model, when fitted with the 5-speed gearbox, on a full tank of fuel was elevated to a staggering 620 miles, equating to 68.9 mpg... a world record at the time for a spark ignition vehicle according to Renault. To accelerate sales further and draw in a younger audience, Renault UK launched a Limited Production 'Special Edition' named 'Rio' in March 1987. 4,000 cars were made available (as either a 956cc 4-speed or 1108cc 5 - speed) with a twin speaker digital stereo system, 3-position Britax glass Sunhatch roof, multi-coloured pattern fabric upholstery amongst other features. Only available in bright red or silver, all were sold out in the first few weeks of being launched. JIB 1844 (the cherished number stays with the car) was first registered in May 1987 - one of the last registered 'Rio' Special Edition cars. Specified in Bright red with the larger 1,108cc engine and optioned with 5-Speed manual gearbox. Joan Ivy Bull (JIB) purchased the car in 1991 and transferred the cherished number on to the car within the first twelve months. The Renault 5 was sparsely used, accumulating no more than 6,000 miles in the first eleven years of her ownership. The keys were lost and the car was stored in her garage until Summer 2020 when a specialist key company were asked to create new keys for the vehicle. They subsequently purchased the car, serviced and recommissioned the car for road use. The car was purchased by a young lady local to Ewbanks in the Summer of 2020 but has been driven less than 100 miles in her first 16 months of ownership. She tells us that the car always starts and been fun to drive on the occasions of her using it. There is a good quantity of new and old MOT certificates in the history file, which correlate with the current odometer reading, which remains very low at 57, 355 miles. There are a number of old V5's also, which provide a charming view of the cars history in the ownership of three ladies. The paintwork gleams beautifully and the interior looks virtually untouched, so well has it been preserved. It is a very pretty little classic which should provide fairly reliable, enjoyable and low budget classic motoring to its next owner.- Our buyers premium on all cars, motorbikes and scooters is 10% + VAT. - We encourage any interested parties to inspect the vehicle on our viewing days and prior to sale on Thursday 2nd to satisfy themselves on the car's condition, please check our buying terms and conditions for cars and bikes available online or via email. - Transportation options may be available, please contact us for a quote.
1986 BMW 518i E28 Saloon - Family owned from new - Low mile example- Serviced & MOTd in July 2021- Bronze with grey cloth interior The E28, the second generation of the 5 series aimed to continue BMWs triumph as a leading executive car of choice. Powered by the 4-cylinder fuel-injected petrol engine, the 518i allowed for executive entry level motoring. Furthermore, the 518is also had a gemmer steering system with a double enveloping worm gear providing a silky driving experience. The vendor is selling on behalf of his late grandfather and has got the car fully inspected by a specialist ahead of sale and carried out a comprehensive service for safe keeping. Garaged all its life, the condition is a testament to that with no visible sign of rust on the body or underneath. The car generally presents itself well with only some slight age-related marks most notably on the drivers side front corner. Furthermore, the car also comes with a strong service history which is all neatly contained within its original booklet. The car sports grey cloth interior, manual transmission, sunroof and comes with its original tool kit. With the odometer reading just 42,316 miles, this must be the lowest mileage (& owner) RHD 518i available on the market right now and would compliment any BMW lovers collection. - Our buyers premium on all cars, motorbikes and scooters is 10% + VAT. - We encourage any interested parties to inspect the vehicle on our viewing days and prior to sale on Thursday 2nd to satisfy themselves on the car's condition, please check our buying terms and conditions for cars and bikes available online or via email. - Transportation options may be available, please contact us for a quote.Condition Report: Now registered in the vendors name after his grandfather's ownership - the car is now technically showing 2 keepers.
1992 Mercedes-Benz 190E (W201) 2.0 Saloon - Pine Green metallic - 106,380 miles with large history file - New MOT The W201 Series '190' model was unveiled by Mercedes at the Paris Motor Show in 1982 and was the first 'compact' saloon to be released by the company. It quickly formed a reputation for superior build quality over its main rivals and set new standards of refinement in the 4-door saloon segment. 1.87 million were built across an 11-year production span. The 'E' designation on the majority of 190 models denotes the 'Electronic Fuel injection' provided by the Bosch KE-Jetronic multi-point system, which enhanced the power output of the vehicle. This particular model is a 1992 190E, specified in metallic pine green with matching upholstery and automatic transmission. It is a late example, registered the year prior to production ceasing. The history file verifies the low mileage and is made up of the original Mercedes book-pack wallet (including stamped service booklet with 13 x entries), a further invoice for service at 100,615 miles, as well as many old MOT's, other papers, Haynes Manual, V5 and spare key. This privately entered Mercedes is a very attractive modern classic with good history and presents in excellent general order.
1998 Mazda MX-5 Berkeley Edition Mk1 Roadster - 1 of 400 produced- Low documented mileage- Desirable Mk1 with power steering- £1,000 pre-sale expenditure- New MOT (no advisories)Released only for the UK market, the MX-5 'Berkeley' Limited Edition spawned from a marketing collaboration between London's luxurious Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge and Mazda UK. Limited to just 400 examples, the 'Berkeley' was the final of the special edition NA-models made using the Mk 1 MX-5 platform. All were spec'd with 15-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, Sparkle Green' metallic paint, and two-tone leather seats. Furthermore, other distinct features included a Momo leather steering wheel, dark burr wood console trim and a chromed boot rack that provided a more premium feel to the MX-5 canvas. These sporty rear-wheel-drive roadsters are powered by a 1.8-litre four-cylinder injection engine, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The 'Berkley' Edition also benefited from factory power steering as standard. R405 GRP presents smartly in this elegant special-edition paint colour. The interior looks tidy but for the drivers seat which requires a repair to the base panel and bolster and the car fires straight away from cold with the first turn of the key. The substantial history file contains plenty of invoices and stamps in the original service book, which collectively spans the cars life. There has been a lot of investment in recent years from the current registered keeper who has entered the car privately. Most recently the MX-5 has had a replacement exhaust, clutch slave & master cylinder and more totalling £964.08. This, in addition to circa £2,000 worth of work invested by Mr Hendry in the last couple of years, which included a replacement clutch, servicing and a timing belt change. Despite the investment the car has been used very sparingly. Unsurprisingly the car is claimed to drive very well, with smooth transmission and nippy and engaging performance. Early generation MX-5s seem to now be developing an enthusiastic following. This example combines respectable mileage, comprehensive history and rare specifications. All in all it should not only provide plenty of enjoyable and elegant motoring but likely also prove to be a quite a rewarding investment.
