Midnight Purple, V-Spec, 26 years ownership and just 12,500 miles from new is a hard combination to beat! The R33 is now rightfully seeing the appreciation it deserves and what an undeniably incredible example this one is following its major service. The R33 was surrounded by huge hype following the popularity and cult status of the R32 and was unveiled at the 30th Tokyo Motor Show in August 1993, with the public having to wait until January 1995 for the GT-R to hit dealerships. This stunning 1995 R33 GT-R V-Spec is a remarkable example that's been preserved amazingly well and is one of 805 Series 1 V-Spec cars finished in the synonymous Skyline colour of LP2 Midnight Purple. It has covered just 12,500 miles from new, untouched by modifications even down to the seldom-seen original twin-pipe exhaust, with the car retaining all the original Japanese safety stickers and decals, preserved in remarkable condition. As a 1995 car, it spent its first three and a half years in Japan before being imported to the UK by the Toy Store Motor Company in 1999, who converted the speedometer to MPH, when our vendor purchased and registered the car in their name meaning it benefits from single UK-ownership. The reupholstered interior colour change was undertaken during its time in Japan and complements the car nicely. Changing from cloth to leather, the original seats, door cards and handbrake/shift boot were re-trimmed, so to put back to standard would be a remarkably easy task. The interior features lots of its original components such as the correct GT-R chequered flag mats. The car has been in long term, temperature-controlled storage and, as is frequently the case, the original book packs and Japanese history have been misplaced, so its history is limited to its UK V5C and invoicing for recent recommissioning work. The refresh has been undertaken by marque experts, Green End Garage, and included the timing belt, spark plugs and all fluids to give full confidence to a future custodian. Little used over here, it has covered just 30 miles between 2006-2024, and will come to auction with a fresh MOT offering peace of mind. The car appears absolutely on the button both mechanically and cosmetically. It's worth noting that there appears to be an erroneous input on the GT-R Registry where it states the car is white, however, as shown by the chassis number and chassis plate, it has always been LP2 Midnight Purple. The exterior, in totally original condition with gleaming paintwork, features the impossible-to-source 'V-Spec' decals and GT-R badges, factory-stamped forged 17" alloy wheels, Xenon headlights and adjustable rear spoiler. Accompanied by its original GT-R keys, this low mileage R33 GT-R V-Spec is just sensational to drive. Having spent so much time in a temperature controlled storage facility, under the ownership of its single enthusiast UK custodian, this car has been preserved exceptionally well, a testament to the previous owner and an asset to the next. Road &Track Magazine summarised the R33 GT-R very well in July, 2019 stating 'It isn't just better than you'd expect, it might well be the high-point of GT-R heritage'.The R33 GT-R has been criminally underrated for a long time, sometimes subdued by the racing pedigree and successes of the R32 GT-R, and the cult-like following and Hollywood stardom of the R34 GT-R but thankfully, the Japanese performance car market has woken up and there is an opportunity to be part of it with this original, well-cared for, low ownership and incredibly low-mileage R33. We welcome any inspection of this example; it will not disappoint.Specification Make: NISSAN Model: SKYLINE R33 GT-R Year: 1995 Chassis Number: BCNR33006649 Registration Number: N210 SGY Transmission: Manual Engine Number: RB26 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 12535 KM Make: RHD Interior Colour: Purple/White LeatherClick here for more details and images

Strikingly presented in Giallo Midas, this manual gearbox car has covered just 32,000 miles and will arrive at auction freshly serviced with a brand new MOT. Continuing its tradition of naming new models after fighting bulls, Lamborghini introduced the Gallardo coupé in 2003, positioning this new V10-engined supercar below its then flagship V12-powered Murciélago. It would turn out to be an outstanding success for the Italian manufacturer, selling in excess of 14,000 units over the succeeding decade. Prior to the Gallardo's introduction, there had only been one V10-powered passenger car - the Dodge (later Chrysler) Viper - the engine of which Lamborghini (then part of Chrysler Corporation) had assisted in developing. Displacing five litres, the Gallardo's quad-cam V10 had four valves per cylinder and developed its maximum power of 493bhp at 7,500rpm. There were two transmissions on offer: a conventional 6-speed manual and an 'E-gear' 6-speed automated paddle-shift manual.Hailed by its maker as 'a super-sports car for day-to-day driving-, the Gallardo was based on a styling proposal by Giorgetto Giugiaro's Italdesign with final refinements by Lamborghini's in-house team of designers, headed by Luc Donckerwolke. According to Lamborghini 'the vehicle's wheelbase and reduced overhangs give it a more dynamic look... (while) the dimensions of the Gallardo and its performance goals lend it a compact sense of athleticism. All this has been modelled in a single volume, respecting typical and unique proportions, the distinctive sign of a stylistic tradition'. There was no denying that the Gallardo was a radical design in the best Lamborghini tradition and worthy to stand alongside legendary models from the company's past such as the Miura and Countach.LF53 JNN was registered on 30th January 2004 and has been with its current custodian for nine years, the last five or so stored in a heated showrooms with very limited usage. Finished in striking Giallo Midas with a complimenting black leather interior, this iconic supercar is the rarer and infinitely more desirable manual gearbox example and has covered just over 32,000 miles from new. The Gallardo comes with a stamped service book, the most recent being some six/seven years ago at Lamborghini Manchester (most of this time it remained in the showroom) however, it's currently undergoing a full service and check through with a Lamborghini Specialist in Sheffield along with a fresh MOT, ensuring this epic car is once again fit for the road and able to give pleasure to its new owner.N.B. One of the most powerful and rare cars of its era, this Super Snake (#334) has been in the UK since 2008 and has covered a little over 12,000 miles from new. A legend worthy of the moniker, and perhaps the only household name of the 20th century that had to scrub his hands clean at the end of a working day, Carroll Shelby once described himself as 'just a guy from East Texas who likes cars' but was the embodiment of the American dream, and quite literally an oil-rags to riches story. Long before his association with Ford, the story of a bankrupt poultry farmer's journey to the Le Mans winner's podium within a decade is worthy of a film in of itself. The critically acclaimed 2019 box office hit Ford vs Ferrari, also known as Le Mans ‘66, tells the Oscar-winning story of Carroll Shelby’s development of the epic GT40 race car. However, Shelby had long been synonymous with high performance variants of the Ford engine with the launch of the Shelby AC Cobra in 1962. Following his 1966 success and seeing an opportunity to capitalise on it, Ford entrusted Shelby with their Mustang model to re-engineer under Shelby American from 1965 to 1967 and Shelby Automotive from 1968 to 1970. Humble he may have been, but ever the businessman he understood the importance of branding and we can think of few people today that could get the leading motor manufacturer in the world to have a model named after them. The Mustang-based Shelby GT350 and later GT500 quite literally muscled into the blue collar performance car market that came to define the American motor industry’s image for that period. Shelby and Ford parted company soon after but, following the introduction of the fifth-generation Ford Mustang, the Shelby name was revived in 2007 for new high performance versions but this time designed and built by Ford based on the Shelby GT500. Whilst Carroll Shelby himself admitted that the 2007 GT500 was a fast car, he always enjoyed showing Ford engineers exactly what he could 'bring to the party'.So, in 2008, Shelby Automobiles offered the Super Snake conversion for the GT500, for those who thought 500bhp wasn’t enough and rather fancied upwards of 725bhp instead. Production was  limited to 1,000 cars mainly built at the Shelby HQ in Nevada, however cars could also be re-engineered and reborn as the Super Snake at authorised 'modification centres' around the US and each car bore a plaque confirming the centre and production number known as a 'CSM'. In 2008, this Vapour Silver GT500 was converted to Super Snake specification by the Shelby American Inc. authorised modification centre at Tasca Ford of Rhode Island and assigned the CSM number #334.It speaks volumes that the car was shipped to these shores later that year and first registered with the DVLA on 1st October. Appropriately registered SS58 USA, it's presented to auction with just 12,029 miles, at the time of cataloguing, and the advisory-free MOT Certificate is valid until 28th August 2024.Perhaps the ultimate American muscle car of its era, this early Super Snake has the distinction of being one of the rarest and most powerful cars available today.Specification Make: FORD Model: MUSTANG Year: 2008 Chassis Number: 1ZVHT88S185148569 Registration Number: SS58 USA Transmission: Manual Drive Side: Left-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 12029 Miles Make: Only LHD Interior Colour: Black LeatherClick here for more details and images

An outstanding 2004 Corvette Commemorative Edition celebrating the Corvette's success at Le Mans. A discernible improvement on its predecessor, the fifth-generation (C5) Corvette was introduced in 1996. Commendably light and stiff, its hydro-formed, box-frame chassis played host to composite transverse-leaf independent suspension, rack and pinion steering and four-wheel disc brakes. Powered by a new, alloy 5.7-litre LS1 V8 engine, initially rated at 345bhp and 350lb/ft, power output was increased to 350bhp and 365lb/ft for the 2001 model year, offering 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds and 164mph.No greater point could be made of the C5's dynamic abilities than its impressive race career with class victories at Le Mans in 2001, 2002 and 2004. By way of celebration, Chevrolet created the final year Le Mans Commemorative Edition, a superb example of which we have here today. 2,025 were built in total and a number were finished in Le Mans Blue with silver and red graphics which echoed the 24-Hour race cars. The Z06 Commemorative cars benefitted from the 405bhp, 5.7-litre LS6 V8 and were fitted with a carbon fibre bonnet in addition to most of the specification upgrades that had been used on the previous year's 50th Anniversary model. The car was sourced by a Corvette aficionado in the UK directly from America through a well-tried stream of Chevrolet contacts but, interestingly, on offer at a Mercedes-Benz dealer in Cary, North Carolina. Pleasingly, it was found to be in immaculate condition throughout with just one recorded keeper and a low recorded mileage which remains to this day at under 22,000. Importantly, there were no negative changes to the original factory specification with the only additions being the desirable options of an ACI front splitter, side-sills and B&B rear exhaust boxes.Since taking delivery in 2007, the Corvette has been maintained to the very highest of standards and is offered complete with all service records, an original sales brochure and advertising poster. The C5 offers thumping performance combined with the more flowing looks of the earlier cars, compared to the angular, razor-edge styling of the C7 and C8, whilst the high specification, more powerful engine, unique paintwork and Le Mans connection make this special edition highly sought after and an exciting opportunity for any collector of rare US performance cars.NB. The 2002 Motor Show Car, first registered to TVR Ltd and then Chairman Peter Wheeler. A remarkable modern classic from the end of British sports car history. One of the rarest TVRs ever produced and perhaps the last modern sports car to be launched in such a uniquely British way. Understood to be the first of two 2002 Motor Show cars commissioned by TVR chairman Peter Wheeler and featured in that year’s Top Gear British Motor Show Special presented by Suzie Perry. The factory build-sheet confirms that the car was built for the Motor Show and Peter Wheeler’s name is written on the underside of the interior trim, found when the car was later re-trimmed by our vendor. Named for its 3.5-litre petrol engine, the 350 C was produced in limited numbers when compared to more mainstream production sportscars, yet kept the Blackpool workshops pretty busy with 390 examples built. This car is even more special as it was factory-fitted with a speed-six 4-litre engine and was the car used as a Press Car, still badged as a 350C. Owned by TVR Engineering for the first three years, the car was subsequently purchased by a dealer and our vendor is the third private keeper. The excellent service history is complemented by a documented engine rebuild at 56,000 miles and the car has been subtly upgraded with ceramic coated manifolds, Sagaris brakes, Bilstein 'S' shock absorbers from the Tuscan and T350 Eibach springs all round.A unique car that differs in features and power from later production cars, this car’s provenance is fascinating and it's presented to auction with a cherished registration number, a huge history file and its Swansea V5C. This rare TVR had covered 82,000 miles at the time of cataloguing and the MOT is valid until August 2024.Specification Make: TVR Model: 350C Year: 2003 Chassis Number: SDLFB17A52B001596 Registration Number: T3 VOC Transmission: Manual Engine Number: P6403016 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 82000 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Dark Blue LeatherClick here for more details and images

This FIA-spec 3.5-litre 'Batmobile' enjoys rock-star provenance and is eligible for some of the best historic motorsport in the world (including the Le Mans Classic). This particular car was converted from a 3.0 CS (E9) road car in the late 1980s by saloon racer, the late Tim Busby, and accumulated many excellent race results over the following 35 years on race tracks all over the world. In 2004, it was sold to Iconic Auctioneers owner, Nick Whale, and co-owned by Nick's best mate, Ian Guest. The pair campaigned the car in Patrick Peter's Classic Endurance Racing series 'CER' throughout Europe, including twice at Classic Le Mans in 2004 and 2006 where it won its 'Plateau' on both occasions. It also won the coveted Index of Performance award at the 2006 Classic Le Mans, as well as further class wins at Monza, Silverstone and Spa.It was then sold to Alan Tice who successfully campaigned the car for two or three seasons in the Masters Series, before changing hands again in 2013 to rock legend, Jason Kay of Jamiroquai. During Jay's ownership, a lot of money was invested in the car's mechanicals and Jay enjoyed a track day at Silverstone during his ownership. In 2017, Jason asked Iconic Auctioneers to auction the Batmobile at the Race Retro auction, when it was purchased by the current owner who then entrusted marque specialists, Laranca Engineering, with preparing the car for a return to the European racing scene. Six figures-plus were invested with Laranca going through the car fully to bring it up to the more strenuous modern standards of historic motorsport. FIA papers were then issued (GB11382) and remain valid until 31st December 2027.Under current ownership, the 'Batmobile' has raced successfully in various Peter Auto events across Europe. The car was invited to a recent Le Mans Classic but sadly our vendor couldn’t attend as he now lives in South America, which is the reason for a reluctant sale. The last mechanical refresh came in early 2021, but the car has not been raced since so the Batmobile is now available for it’s next lucky owner.  Offering access into some of the best Historic Motorsport in the world, including the legendary Le Mans Classic, this fabulous race car is being offered at a seriously tempting guide price when you consider what it would cost to replicate, the asking price for similar cars and its proven 35 years-plus race record. Please get in touch with Harry Whale to find out more technical information about the car, including dyno sheet etc.Specification Make: BMW Model: 3.5 CSL Year: 1973 Chassis Number: 2331066 Registration Number: N/A Transmission: Manual Drive Side: Left-hand Drive Make: LHDClick here for more details and images

Benefitting from a documented sympathetic restoration and understood to be one of just 34 (M491) SuperSport Coupés supplied to the UK in right-hand drive (C16), this superb 911 is on offer directly from 22 years of caring ownership. Development of the Porsche 911 continued through the 1980s, with perhaps the most notable advance immediately prior to the manufacture of this 1986 model, being the introduction of the 3.2-litre engine for 1984. Although it remained an air-cooled flat-six, the '3.2' was 80% new and incorporated an effective cam-chain tensioner and associated lubrication system that at last addressed a perennial 911 shortcoming. With 230bhp available, the new 'boxer' power unit endowed the Carrera with excellent performance, the bald statistics being a 0-60mph time of 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 152mph. Although it enjoyed a 52bhp advantage, the 911 Turbo was only marginally faster, having a top speed of 157mph, while most considered the normally-aspirated 911 Carrera much easier to drive without the Turbo’s notorious ‘little ways’. Consequently there were an increasing number of affluent potential 911 customers that coveted the Turbo's distinctive 'wide body' look but felt more at home with the more approachable 3.2 Carrera and, quick to respond to public demand, Porsche introduced the 'Option M491 Turbo-look' or ‘SuperSport’ as it later became known in the UK.Initially, Option M491 was only available on a Coupé through the 'Special Wishes' programme, but was later extended to include a Turbo-Look Targa and Cabriolet in 1985, then became an official model from 1986. From 1987 the designation was officially known as SSE (SuperSport Equipment). In addition to the wide bodywork, the package included a limited-slip differential, the stiffer suspension and four-piston brake callipers from the 930 Turbo, a wrap-around deep chin-spoiler, the famous 'tea-tray' rear spoiler, and 16" forged alloy wheels with low-profile tyres. However, it was not a cheap option, adding over £10,000 to the cost of a standard 3.2 Carrera by the end of the model's life in 1989.As an option rather than an outright model, the SuperSport is not just the rarest Porsche of its era but the most challenging to pin down officially, however we understand that this fabulous car is one of just 34 Coupés supplied to the UK, as designated by its option codes C16 and 491. The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirms the car’s build date as 2nd November 1987 prior to being delivered by Lancaster Garages of Norwich later that month with the stickered option codes confirming it was finished in Schwartz with a full leather interior. The detailed history file retains old MOTs, period tax discs, historic maintenance receipts by main dealer and marque specialists, a photographic record of the extensive, yet sympathetic, restoration in 2012, book packs and the service book.Purchased by our vendor on 1st August 2002 it was restored and subsequently maintained regardless of infrequent use, with less than 2,000 miles added since purchase to the current odometer reading of 107,415 miles, at the time of cataloguing. This rare motorcar has been preserved for future generations with the distinction of a meticulously curated history file and an odometer reading that should be treated as an historical fact. Offered with an advisory-free MOT Certificate valid until January 2024 and its Swansea V5C.Specification Make: PORSCHE Model: 911 CARRERA 3.2 Year: 1987 Chassis Number: WP0ZZZ91ZJS101074 Registration Number: TBA Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 63J01356 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 107500 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Tan LeatherClick here for more details and images

An outstanding example of Ford's heritage-drenched sixth-generation Mustang V8. This UK-supplied, right-hand drive, manual gearbox Mustang S550 GT is a fine example of the sixth generation of Ford's original 'Pony' car. It's finished in Triple Yellow with black hide and is presented in outstanding condition throughout, having formed part of a small private Collection in recent years, maintained by its fastidious owner in a manner that can only be described as exceptional. It's powered by a 4,951cc modular V8 (Coyote), generating 435bhp and 400lb/ft of torque and mated to a Getrag/Ford MT82 6-speed manual gearbox. The desirable specification includes a colour keyed rear spoiler, Shaker sound system with Apple CarPlay, SatNav, heated and cooled seats, a rear camera, Mustang light protect and a Ghost immobiliser in addition to a full Corsa Extreme exhaust system which truly underlines the muscle in muscle car when on song. Complete with the original book pack, service history folder, previous MOT Certificates and both keys, it's clear to see that this is not your average Mustang but one that has been cherished since it rolled off the production line some eight years ago. With a low recorded mileage of under 20,000 miles at time of viewing this particular sixth-generation GT would be welcome not only within any Ford Collection such is its superb condition and desirable specification, but also on any show field, however we tend to feel that out on the open road is its natural habitat with that V8 burble ringing in your ears.Your early inspection is welcomed and encouraged to fully appreciate the quality that is on offer.N.B. Quite the survivor, an ex-South African 'Suffix G' that was in great shape, with history, even before our enthusiast-vendor fully recommissioned it. Now ready to enjoy. The car presented here is 1980 Suffix G Range Rover that was delivered new to South Africa, being assembled at the Leyland Blackheath plant, outside of Cape Town prior to being sold by Eloff Leyland to Mr C.F De Langue of Florida Panel Beaters in Johannesburg, bearing the registration number CVL 767T. Today, remarkably, it’s still accompanied by its original logbook, in the name of Mr De Langue, the original owner’s manual and sales brochure, plus historical service records (with all ten 5,000km service intervals stamped up to the last available page at 50,000km). The logbook (and an inspection) confirms it as a matching numbers example. It has now been imported into the UK and registered as KVO 975V; obviously, being a historical vehicle, it is tax and MOT exempt, but nevertheless, our vendor fastidiously obtained an advisory-free MOT in December 2023 for provenance and peace of mind. After driving KVO regularly for 6 months, he commissioned a comprehensive programme of work, costing £15,000+, including a colour change from the original Burnt Orange to Bahama Gold. The restoration process has been photographically and financially documented and all the receipts are available. The vehicle was fully stripped back to the shell and pleasingly, the chassis appeared to be in perfect condition and required no welding. The chassis and frame were then prepared, rust-proofed, primed and re-painted. At considerable cost, a full set of new rubber seals were purchased and fitted all around (windscreen, windows, doors, tailgate), as well as new quarter-light frames, rear light and front side light clusters, door mirrors and petrol cap. The vehicle’s interior was then sound-proofed using Dodo Mat insulation and the vehicle was professionally resprayed in Bahama Gold (LRC 235) using 2K paint. The interior has been completely replaced with all new parts imported including herringbone cloth seat covers all round, a full set of bronze carpets, Palomino door cards, arm rests, rear panels, B and C pillar trims, front footwell side trims and the Hardura spare wheel and tool-roll covers. The original dash top was badly cracked, so a replacement dash top in perfect condition was purchased from Suffix Matters costing £575.A new headlining was sourced locally, and the interior now presents in as new condition. A CD/radio is fitted in the correct place and correctly wired. The vendor has not fitted speakers in the new door cards, preferring to appreciate the hum of the V8. Being a South Africa-assembled vehicle, this example comes with working, factory-fitted AC.Mechanically, the vehicle has always been kept in excellent running condition, with maintenance records dating from 1980-1983 and from 2014-2024. The car has been fully serviced, the twin Stromberg carburettors have been professionally rebuilt and a new starter motor, battery, brake master cylinder, and a reconditioned alternator have been installed. The engine runs beautifully, the gearbox is as precise as it can be for a Range Rover Classic, and the brakes and clutch operate perfectly. UK-supplied, right-hand drive, S550 5-litre Mustang Fastback, supercharged by Roush and now understood to offer around 800bhp. The unveiling of the sixth generation (S550) Ford Mustang in December of 2013 caused a seismic shift in global automotive circles, as the quintessential symbol of American muscle car culture evolved once again. Boasting a trio of powertrain options, including the groundbreaking 2.3-litre EcoBoost delivering over 300bhp, a robust 3.7-litre V6 offering a similar power output at 310bhp and the legendary 5-litre V8 churning out over 430bhp, the S550 Mustang set hearts racing worldwide. Transmission choices ranged from a 6-speed manual to a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters, providing enthusiasts with unparalleled driving experiences.Breaking new ground, the S550 Mustang was engineered for both left and right-hand drive, heralding its entry into global markets and another milestone came in the form of independent rear suspension, transforming its handling dynamics beyond its straight-line speed prowess. The 2016 Ford Mustang 5.0 V8 GT Fastback on offer today is finished in Deep Impact Blue with the traditional white stripes and GT decals. The interior is also presented in a timeless manner with black seating and the steering wheel is finished in Alcantara. Throughout the car there are subtle hints that this might not be your average Ford Mustang GT. Badges bearing the words 'supercharged' and 'Roush' give the game away. The car was initially supplied by Ford as a standard 5-litre V8 GT, however after a while its owner made the understandable decision that 435bhp was simply not enough. It’s generally recognised that the 5-litre ‘Coyote’ V8 engine has a remarkable ability to be tuned for a lot more power so the decision was made to commission a Roush supercharger conversion. Motorsport and Performance (MAP), based in Leeds were chosen as the experts in the field to carry out the job. The result of the forced induction tuning using well known and trusted Roush componentry was outstanding, with 800bhp being achieved with relative ease. Infact, MAP informed us that they detuned from the top output just a small amount to keep the car manageable on the road. With modern Mustangs a common sight on UK roads these days, this smart sixth-generation example offers a perfect opportunity to acquire a modern/classic homage to the Mustang ‘Heritage’ that offers day-to-day luxury and comfort with incredible performance, a ‘Pony’ car with a substantial number of ponies.Specification Make: FORD Model: MUSTANG Year: 2016 Chassis Number: 1FA6P8CF7G5320407 Registration Number: GC16 NYM Transmission: Automatic Engine Number: 5320407 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 34000 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Black LeatherClick here for more details and images

Right-hand drive JDM Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R, sympathetically modified but remaining largely unmolested. Following up on its widely celebrated R32 predecessor, the arrival of Nissan’s R33-generation Skyline GT-R in 1995 played a big part in the model’s eventual long-term success. Just prior to its release, several major Japanese auto manufacturers signed a panic-induced 'gentlemen’s agreement' with the government, limiting new model performance rating figures to 276bhp. There had, perhaps, never been a more inauspicious moment to release a sports car in Japan. Nissan, for its part, printed official marketing materials for the R33 which did not mention that the engine delivered approximately 300bhp straight from the showroom floor. The R33 nevertheless debuted at an optimal moment in popular culture. Video games such as Gran Turismo popularized the Skyline and other Japanese performance cars of the era even in the US and other envious markets where the GT-R was not be sold. It perpetuated the Skyline GT-R’s nickname, 'Godzilla, the monster from Japan', earned by the R32 after stellar performances in early 1990s Australian motorsport, as car enthusiasts embraced Nissan as a force to be reckoned with. Indeed, the R33 would make appearances in the first few Fast & Furious films of the 2000s, and its R34 successor was notably driven by the late Paul Walker, further publicizing the Skyline GT-R name.Finished in Motorsport White with a grey interior, this superb R33 GT-R has been sympathetically modified but remains largely unmolested throughout with an impressive cockpit area enhanced by a carbon fibre pack and a well detailed engine bay should the show arena beckon. Mechanically, it still wears the original turbos on factory settings running through equal-length downpipes supplied by RHD Japan, fitted in 2020 with unspent gases exiting through a Blitz Nur Spec exhaust system. Recently serviced, the Skyline is running and performing well and it is clear to see that it has been maintained as required over the years by its fastidious custodians including general services and cam belt changes being adhered to as and when required.Other works carried out over the years are detailed in the comprehensive history file that accompanies the car. Currently running on a set of Enkei RFPi alloy wheels fitted with Yokohama Advance AD08 tyres, the Nissan presents extremely well and with the JDM market moving on at a pace, your early inspection is welcomed and encouraged to fully appreciate the quality of this increasingly desirable Skyline.Specification Make: NISSAN Model: SKYLINE R33 GT-R Year: 1995 Chassis Number: BCWR33005746 Registration Number: J222 DST Transmission: Manual Engine Number: RB26 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 106600 KM Make: RHD Interior Colour: GreyClick here for more details and images

**Please note for clarity the original exhaust and tyres will be available after the sale, free of charge, to be collected from the vendor. The custom car cover and dash cover will be with the car.The ‘factory underseal’ is incorrect and is actually wax oil that our vendor removed and cleaned from the underside and engine bay, with some parts still visible in the door shuts. The car is totally unrestored and for every MOT the underside was sprayed with ACF50 to protect and preserve the immaculate condition of the car.The spare wheel is brand new, and Ford First Aid Kit, supplementary workshop manual, original owner’s guide wallet from Bristol Street Motor, original boxed fog lamps, tax disc holder and original car mats will be included.** Arguably the finest condition RS500 we have brought to market. #433 presents in wonderfully original condition with an incredibly low warranted mileage of just 12,802. On offer from 21 years of cherished ownership with multiple concours wins under its belt. If the RS Cosworth was an homologation car, the RS500 was an evolution special. Once Ford had built the requisite 5,000 RS Cosworths, 'Group A' rules allowed an upgraded 'evolution' model to be launched. This could carry changes focused on improving its racing potential, provided Ford sold 10% of the original number as road cars, hence the 500, with the vast majority (392) being finished in Black, 56 in Diamond White and 52 in Moonstone Blue. All RS500s had modified bodywork and the cachet of being hand-assembled. Indeed, during the model's 30th Anniversary year in 2017, the RS500 was named the 'Ultimate Cosworth' by one of the UK's biggest one-make car shows. The car presented here is the 1987 Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth, #433, finished in Diamond White and despatched from Tickfords on 6th August 1987 to Bristol Street Motors of Cheltenham. It was immediately registered by its first keeper as E100 GFH, before becoming the totally appropriate E433 COS during our vendor’s ownership. The condition of the car is truly remarkable. Iconic Auctioneers (formerly Silverstone Auctions) has been fortunate enough to bring over 30 RS500s to market, and this is undeniably one of, if not the, best of all. The paintwork is immaculate, with no evidence of having been touched over the years, appearing to be all original. The interior of the car truly sets it apart from the rest, having benefited from living in a temperature-controlled garage, under a custom-made RS500 car cover, with custom-made covers protecting the dashboard, gear knob and steering wheel, a wonderful example of just how cherished this ‘pride and joy’ car is. Mechanically it has never been messed with, retaining all its original parts, except for the new/old stock original specification exhaust, with the original item accompanying the car at the sale.In 2007, our vendor set his mind on sourcing and buying the best RS500 he could find to add to his Collection, and that is exactly what he achieved here. Following months of research, viewings and knowing the right people, he was able to find the car in question, #433, and purchased it for what, at the time, was the highest ever price paid for an RS500. Shortly after taking delivery in 2007, he set about removing as much of the factory underseal as possible in order to showcase the condition of the car’s underside being as strong as the topside. The well presented history file makes for confidence-inspiring reading and displays the same amount of attention to detail as the rest of the car. The original book packs are present in their original wallets, including the main stamped service book up to 9,167 miles, a large quantity of invoices for parts and maintenance and almost every single MOT from new in chronological order, confirming the car’s low indicated mileage. Although only used very lightly, the RS has been regularly serviced, maintained and detailed during our marque-expert vendor’s ownership, primarily undertaken by him, including two cam belt changes. His ‘perfectionist’ attention to originality can be illustrated by the fact that his cars are always stored on padded mats to ensure that the tyres never become squared-off due to lack of movement. The original set of tyres will accompany the car at the sale, alongside the original exhaust. This uncompromising approach might explain why this gleaming white RS500 may well be the best you have ever seen, and truly needs to be seen in the metal to be fully appreciated.#433 has been lovingly taken to shows and events where it has won a borderline embarrassing amount of awards, undoubtedly as a result of its incredible condition and microscopic attention to every detail. We understand that #433 drives as perfectly as you’d imagine, with a pure, unspoilt and original feel.Well known and much respected within the Owners Club, just 12,805 miles indicated, recently serviced with a fresh MOT and documented long term meticulous care from a dedicated owner all suggest that this is a remarkable opportunity and we invite and encourage your viewing of this best of breed example of a model that is considered the 'high-water mark' in Ford’s enviable back-catalogue.SpecificationMake: FORDModel: SIERRA RS500 COSWORTHYear: 1987Chassis Number: WF0EXXGBBEGG38799Registration Number: E433 COSTransmission: ManualEngine Number: GG38799Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 12802 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Grey ClothClick here for more details and images

Superbly presented, matching numbers, left-hand drive 4.2-litre Series I Roadster in a stunning colour combination with only four miles since a total restoration. After all the fuss and fanfare of the 1961 launch of Jaguar's original 3.8-litre E-Type had died down, the company quietly introduced the new 4.2-litre car in late 1964. It was more of an evolution than a new model, but was significantly improved with more torque, a user-friendly gearbox, better brakes, brighter headlights and at long last, reasonably comfortable seats. It remained in production until the arrival of the one year-only Series I½ in 1967 followed by the S2 in 1968. With the benefit of hindsight, it's generally felt that early SIs, with their covered headlights and slimline bumpers, are the ones to have, retaining the elegant, uncluttered, head-turning lines of the original 3.8s but so much more enjoyable to drive. This beautifully presented, left-hand drive, Series I 4.2-litre E-Type Roadster was shipped new to New York, finished in Carmen Red with a black leather interior, where it was first registered to a Mr Robert Oraheim on 5th October 1965. Fast forward to the 2000s and the Jaguar was to be found in Oldenzaal, Netherlands where it was acquired in 2015 by its current owner. Not long after his purchase, he commissioned a fastidious full nut and bolt restoration, the quality of which is obvious today. His intention was to create his personal ‘dream car’ finished and equipped exactly as he wanted. Naturally it was fully stripped, sandblasted, repaired where necessary and then prepared to accept numerous coats of Jaguar’s Golden Sand (a period correct factory colour). The engine and gearbox were rebuilt as were the suspension, brakes, hydraulics, electrics, in fact everything that you normally do when restoring an E-Type to concours-condition. The black leather interior was replaced by one in Bordeaux Red with matching carpets and a black dashboard and the attention to detail is really impressive.Upgrades were carefully thought out and include ‘Dynamat Xtreme’ throughout offering better sound proofing and floor temperature control, a ‘Sundym’ windscreen to help keep the cockpit cool supported by modern air-conditioning, and beautiful 6.5" x 15" chrome wire wheels wrapped in new Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres. The soft top is now in a matching shade of red and the factory hard-top is finished in a Mercedes Obsidian Black. The Jaguar is now in the UK and UK-registered, remaining quietly in a heated garage as part of a private Collection and having covered just four miles since the restoration. It’s accompanied by its tool kit, jack, spare wheel, car cover and its Heritage Certificate.Over the years here at Iconic Auctioneers, combined with Classic Car Auctions, we have been entrusted with the sale of 378 examples of Jaguar’s legendary E-Type, it must be said, at varying levels of ‘gloriousness’, however, this lovely Series I is undoubtedly up there with the most desirable. We invite and encourage your view at our Sywell sale to appreciate the sheer quality on offer.Specification Make: JAGUAR Model: E-TYPE Year: 1965 Chassis Number: 1E11576 Registration Number: LAX 350D Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 7E5770-9 Drive Side: Left-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 4 Miles Make: LHDClick here for more details and images

Exactly what you hope to find – from 35 years long-term ownership, just one former keeper, impressively original, only 50,000 miles and in desirable Moonstone Blue. The original Ford Sierra RS Cosworth was the first Ford to wear the Cosworth badge and was presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1985. It was introduced as a means of homologating the Sierra for 'Group A' Touring Car racing, with a requirement that 5,000 cars were built and sold - somewhat worrying when the company's initial approach to the dealer network came back with an estimate that suggested they could sell around 1,500 units! The eventual sales record is, of course, history, Ford going on to sell 5,545 three-door cars (including the RS500, of which only 500 were built).Launched for sale in July 1986, and based on the three-door Sierra bodyshell, it was designed by Ford's Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE) and was powered by a Cosworth-designed 2-litre turbo engine of now legendary repute. At this time, the Sierra Cosworth was a new kind of performance car - a 'blue-collar hero' able to humble true sports cars! The car presented here is a 1986 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth in arguably the model’s best and most desirable colour. With just 32,000 miles indicated back in 1989, it was purchased by two close friends who used it only on dry days and very infrequently, adding a further 18,000 miles before it was placed into warm, dry storage in 1993. The friends have recently uncovered their beloved Cosworth from that closeted environment and rolled it out into the daylight. 'Wow, it was amazing, just like we parked her up yesterday; even that famous Cossie smell was still present!'. Thinking it wise to recommission the car, to bring it back to life properly, it was sent to a master mechanic and Cosworth expert where all mechanical components were removed, stripped, examined and rebuilt where necessary, including the engine, using genuine OEM parts as required. The fuel tank and rear exhaust section were replaced with Graham Goode parts, whilst the radiator is a Radtec of Cannock upgraded part. The wheels have been professionally refurbished and a set of new/old stock Dunlop D40 tyres fitted. The friends describe the paintwork as exceptional, and understand it to be wholly original. This special Ford is accompanied by numerous old MOT Certificates and paperwork, helping to corroborate the very conservative 50,000 miles indicted, plus its original / stamped Ford service booklet. With Fords of this era, ‘originality' is the key word, frequently misused but in the case of this car, totally appropriate, and any inspection is welcomed. The Cosworth has always been a car to draw attention. Its radical 'whale tail' ensured that it was always meant to be a poster boy of the time, but with their values now reaching such amazing levels – Iconic Auctioneers (formally Silverstone Auctions) sold a Moonstone example with 8,795 miles in November 2022 for £132,750 – where do we see this car, estimated at well under half as much as our record-holder? You will not be disappointed.Specification Make: FORD Model: SIERRA RS COSWORTH Year: 1986 Chassis Number: WF0EXXGBBEGB51491 Registration Number: A12 GOE Transmission: Manual Engine Number: GB51491 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 50200 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

Porsche 911 (997.1) 3.8-litre Carrera S with the desirable manual 6-speed gearbox, offered from 12 years of ownership and looking good in Black Metallic. The 997 marked another new chapter for Porsche, although to look at, the new generation seemed to hark back to former glories, particularly in profile and the design of its oval headlights. The 997 was initially available from July 2004 in two guises, Carrera and Carrera S, both rear-wheel drive only with identical bodywork. The base Carrera stuck with the well established 3.6-litre power unit producing 325bhp, however the Carrera S had useful extra power – some 355bhp – thanks to a larger displacement engine (3.8-litres). Other general 997 enhancements included better suspension, reduced drag-coefficient, a more appealing interior and extra room for passengers. Introduced in 2005, the Carrera 4S was broadly similar but was a tad wider (44mm) to accommodate the four-wheel drive system and wider wheels. The car presented here is a 2005 Porsche 911 (997.1) 3.8-litre Carrera S specified with the drivers' choice of the manual 6-speed (G97/01) gearbox (which was reinforced by Porsche for the 'S' model) and is finished in Basalt Black Metallic with a black hood and interior. It's offered from long term ownership, some 12 years, with just one previous recorded keeper and  presents superbly, benefitting from a recent comprehensive check over and detail to ensure that it is offered looking at its very best.It was specified from new with numerous additions to standard such as electronic damper control and stability management, sports seats finished in hide, a multi-function steering wheel, top-tint screen and DVD navigation amongst others, all accompanied by a comprehensive service history.Offered at a very sensible and affordable guide giving the opportunity for Porsche ownership at an approachable level. Rather handsome and superbly equipped, Masai4x4's unique demonstrator/promotion vehicle has been fully restored and seems very sensibly estimated Land Rover's venerable Defender has evolved gradually over its quarter-century on sale, gaining new Ford engines and the odd interior tweak, but perhaps the most significant change was nothing to do with the designers at Solihull, it was its gradual adoption by trendy metropolitan elites, declaring it as their carriage of choice, taking the Land Rover legend from the country into the city. Those knowledgeable chaps at Masai4x4 in Lichfield are fully aware of this topical trend and have embraced it with this very smart conversion of a Defender 110 TD5 Double-Cab 2.5-litre into a dual purpose vehicle that combines comfortable and even stylish urban transport with the traditional versatility of a Land Rover. It was originally built as a demonstrator for Masai4x4's wide range of Defender upgrades, accessories and parts and has been totally restored inside and out - truly a one-off.Structurally, the car has been overhauled with the chassis cleaned down and repaired, the rear cross-member and floor panels replaced and all fully undersealed when finished. Full Dynamat sound deadening has been fitted throughout, the fuel tank replaced along with a fuel tank guard, and the handling and driving response have been improved with the fitting of a new suspension kit, bushes and springs and a servo-clutch upgrade to improve gear changes. All windows, window seals and doors have been replaced and the exterior body work has had a full respray in Corris Grey Metallic. Despite all the 'lifestyle' nods internally, the car retains full 'street cred' with LED lights throughout, Lynx Eye headlights, side steps, Masai nudge bar, snorkel air intake, a Masai steering guard, roof rack, ARB awning and light kit, Saw Tooth alloys and big BF Goodrich tyres. The interior has been completely re-trimmed with Masai-branded cream leatherette seat covers with black piping, matching wool carpets and suede headlining. Front and rear heated seats provide additional comfort in an already luxurious interior and a double-DIN conversion has been undertaken to allow connection to modern 'infotainment' systems, Bluetooth/ hands free and rear parking camera. Audio has been updated to include surround-sound speakers and a Pioneer sub-woofer to give high-quality audio playback way beyond the level you would normally find in a vehicle of this type. The interior look is completed by the Aluminium Billet Trim on the gear stick, transfer lever knobs, air vents and slots, door handles, seat adjusters, fuse box screws, fan controls, headlamp switches and column stalk ends. This unique Defender has covered 156,000 miles from new (the majority prior to its full rebuild) and has been enjoyed by four previous keepers. It currently has a private plate (which may be displayed in some of our images) but does not form part of the sale. On offer from a significant private Collection, this low-mileage, original car has been the proud resident of some serious Collections of notable Fords.   The original Ford Sierra RS Cosworth was the first Ford to wear the Cosworth badge and was presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1985. It was introduced as a means of homologating the Sierra for 'Group A' Touring Car racing, with a requirement that 5,000 cars were built and sold. Launched for sale in July 1986 and based on the three-door Sierra bodyshell, it was designed by Ford's Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE) and was powered by a Cosworth-designed 2-litre turbo engine of now legendary repute. At this time, the Sierra Cosworth was a new kind of performance car - a 'blue-collar hero' able to humble true sports cars! In total 5,545 cars were produced - of which 500 were sent to Aston Martin Tickford for conversion to the Sierra RS500 Cosworth. If the RS Cosworth was an homologation car, the RS500 was an evolution special. Once Ford had built the requisite 5,000 RS Cosworths, 'Group A' rules allowed an upgraded evolution model to be launched. This could carry changes focused on improving its racing potential, provided Ford sold 10% of the original number as road cars, hence the 500. The RS500 was announced in July 1987 and had a mechanically uprated Cosworth engine (more similar to the one to be used in competition), with power boosted to 224bhp, upgraded brakes, modified bodywork and the cachet of being hand-assembled - the RS500 really is the ultimate 1980's Fast Ford! Indeed, during the model's 30th anniversary year in 2017, the RS500 was named the 'Ultimate Cosworth' by one of the UK's biggest one-make car shows. On offer here is a very special, UK-supplied, right-hand drive example presenting in wonderfully original condition and was showing just 13,985 on the odometer at the time of cataloguing. Supplied new to British actor, Robin Ellis, this outstanding Interceptor II has been beautifully restored with absolute attention to detail and will continue to turn heads for another 50 years. Jensen's C-V8 replacement debuted in 1966, reviving a name first employed in the 1950s. However, several of the firm's traditions were broken in that the design was outsourced to Carrozzeria Touring and the bodies made of steel, not fibreglass. Early shells were built in Italy by Vignale prior to production being established at Jensen's Kelvin Way plant in West Bromwich. Power came from a 6,276cc (383ci) Chrysler V8, driving through either a 4-speed manual or 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission to an LSD Salisbury rear axle. Specification included electric windows, reclining seats, wood-rim steering wheel, radio with twin speakers, electric clock and reversing lights. Production of the Interceptor II (occasionally called the MkII or Series II) commenced in October 1969 and lasted for two years. This particular car has a chassis prefix, #123, so was one of 694 right-hand drive UK-cars powered by the E-Series 383ci V8 generating around 330bhp. It was first registered in the spring of 1970 and supplied new to British actor, Robin Ellis, best known for playing the leading role in the BBC series, Poldark, based on the novels of Winston Graham. Purchased for just under £8,000 or the equivalent of £150,000 in todays money, the Jensen was a serious car for special customers.Several enthusiastic owners enjoyed the Jensen over the years until 2015 when the decision was made to completely restore it. The car's condition today is testament to the outstanding workmanship of the specialist team commissioned to complete the restoration and we understand that this glorious, long-legged GT performs as well as it looks. The provenance and history of the Jensen is supported by a large history file containing the factory pre-sale inspection documents and paperwork which confirms that its first owner, Robin Adair Ellis, took delivery of the car on 6th May 1970. Also within the file is a detailed account of the restoration with supporting documentation, the current V5C ready for transfer or export, old MOT Certificates, the Heritage Certificate and a wealth of invoices for care and maintenance over the years, with the most recent service carried out in January 2023.The car was purchased by our vendor last year and fitted with a new power steering set up. The intention was to commission Jensen International Automotive to upgrade the car with their full Corvette engine and running gear conversion, at a cost of some £200,000, however, having viewed and subsequently purchased one of the early Corvette-engined, upgraded JIA cars from us in November 2023, he thoroughly enjoys the car and plans to keep it, making this car surplus to his requirements.Finished in a lovely shade of very pale grey, the Jensen continues to attract all the right attention and as a well restored and very well-maintained example, should only require basic maintenance. A rare blend of Italian styling, an American engine and British craftsmanship, these big GTs are comfortable and relatively practical with rear seats and a decent boot. It's a beautiful British classic that will undoubtedly be the talking point at any classic car show or event  and would be welcome anywhere.Specification Make: JENSEN Model: INTERCEPTOR II Year: 1970 Chassis Number: 1233736 Registration Number: SUX 879H Transmission: Automatic Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Make: RHD Interior Colour: BlackClick here for more details and images

Intended primarily for competition although still fully road-legal, the Porsche 911 GT3 can trace its ancestry all the way back through a succession of high-performance models to the legendary 911 Carrera RS of 1973. The car takes its name from the FIA's GT3 category of production sports car racing and has been produced in a variety of versions since its introduction in 1999 when the GT3 badges were applied to the Type 996 iteration of the perennial 911. The 3.6-litre flat-six engine, though, departed from mainstream Type 996 practice by virtue of its water-cooled cylinders, leaving only the heads cooled by air. Called the 'Metzger' engine after its designer, Hans Metzger, this unit was closely related to that of the Porsche 962 'Sports Prototypes' and the 911 GT1 racer. In the GT3 it produced 355bhp, 59 more than in the standard 996, which was delivered to the wheels through a strengthened gearbox boasting interchangeable ratios. To make the GT3 fit for circuit use, the brakes, suspension and wheels were uprated to cope with the substantial increase in performance, whilst aerodynamic downforce was enhanced by a larger front air dam and a distinctive rear spoiler. Weight reduction extended to the removal of the rear seats and most of the sound deadening, rear speakers, sunroof, and air conditioning, though the latter could be ordered as an option, as could a CD/radio. In 2003, the 996 was facelifted (996.2) with Turbo-style headlamps, redesigned front and rear bumpers and some other external changes and, naturally, these revisions carried through to the GT3.Sourced through the Porsche Centre London, this particular UK-supplied (C16) 996.2 GT3, finished in Polar Silver with the must-have Aero Kit, is fitted with the 6-speed manual gearbox and was originally built to the 'Comfort' specification. It has now been enhanced by a number of ‘Clubsport’ upgrades providing an intriguing and rather desirable package for its next custodian. The black hide interior features leather sun visors, a suede headlining and lightweight Porsche sports seats with crests complimented by red Schroth racing harnesses, all surrounded by the Tequipment 996 roll cage fitted by JZM Porsche in 2015. They also upgraded the suspension in 2016, fitting a three-way KW Clubsport Suspension Kit providing a more dynamic ride and overall feel for the Porsche driver who wants to enjoy the GT3 experience to the max.In superb condition throughout, the car has formed part of a small eclectic Collection in recent years and has been maintained as required by its fastidious owner. It’s accompanied by a comprehensive stamped service history detailing previous works as completed by Porsche main dealers and specialists, various invoices and older MOT Certificates. Your early inspection is welcomed and encouraged to fully appreciate the impressive package on offer.Specification Make: PORSCHE Model: 996.2 GT3 Year: 2004 Chassis Number: WP0ZZZ99Z4S691157 Registration Number: LJ04 EDX Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 63425004 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 58025 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Black HideClick here for more details and images

Delightfully presented ex-California 911S Targa in Gemini Blue with Hollywood provenance. Production of the second-generation 911 started in August 1973 with the 1974 model/year G-series derivative replacing the outgoing 1973 F-series. Visually, the new 911 was given a major facelift and all three production variants now came with fuel-injected 2.7-litre engines. The entry level 911 had 150bhp, the mid-range 911S offered 175bhp and the flagship 911 Carrera came with 210bhp and once again, customers were given the choice of either Coupé or Targa body styles. In 1975, the H-series Carrera gained a deeper front spoiler and an (optional) IROC-style rear spoiler. The 911S was visually unchanged, however the base 911 disappeared. This left-hand drive 911S Targa was supplied by Sporting Cars of Santa Monica and registered new in February 1975 to famous Hollywood actor, Ron Harper, remaining with him until arriving in the UK in 2018. He was famous for his parts in various American films but mostly acclaimed for his role as astronaut, Alan Virdin, in TV’s Planet of the Apes. Throughout his sole ownership of 43 years, it had oil changes every 5,000 miles punctuated by his hand written notes in the service book and the mileage of only 70,674 miles is fully corroborated. When it arrived in the UK, it was subject to a full mechanical and service overhaul by Porsche Specialist Services of Havering and the extensive work included a full service, all suspension bushes, new dampers, new steering arms, gear linkage, brakes, a full ride-height set up, corner weights and a wheel alignment check. In line with European specification, the headlight units were changed. Remarkably well preserved by the Californian climate but faded in places, a full body restoration was undertaken by the renowned ‘Kraftwork Vehicle Refinishers’ of Chelmsford Essex in 2020. It was taken back to bare metal with no replacement panels required and painted in its original colour of Gemini Blue. The body has many of the factory stickers still in place. The comprehensive history file contains the original owners wallet with service book and photos of the restoration, a photo of Ron Harper with the 911S in c.2007 and invoices relating to the work done. It has its original jack, toolkit and original Blaupunkt radio with paperwork and US Title document in Ron Harper's name and will come with a full MOT showing the mileage now at c.71,327 miles.A most beautiful 911S Targa with celebrity provenance in, perhaps, the best colour combination of the 1970s.Specification Make: PORSCHE Model: 911 S Year: 1975 Chassis Number: 9115210887 Registration Number: LFM 603N Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 6550561 Drive Side: Left-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 71327 Miles Make: LHD Interior Colour: Black LeatherClick here for more details and images

A UK-market car from 20 years ownership, fastidiously maintained, subtly enhanced and just 17,500 miles. By 1997, rallying had captured the imagination of petrolheads all over the world and Mitsubishi sold 6,000 Evolution IVs in the first three days of its launch! In quick succession, the Lancer Evolution VI came to be and in the latter-half of 1999, Mitsubishi unleashed a special edition to celebrate its favourite son’s four consecutive WRC drivers' titles from 1996-1999 - the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI 'Tommi Mäkinen Edition' (TME). The Evolution VI was already a technological tour de force, but the TME had a more responsive titanium turbocharger, uprated and lowered suspension, quicker steering, a different exhaust, a new ECU, beefed-up transfer case internals, a redesigned front bumper and authentic 17" WRC Enkei alloy wheels. There was a special interior featuring embossed Recaro seats, a MOMO steering wheel and red stitching. The performance upgrades saw the 0-60mph time down to 4.4 seconds and a maximum top speed of 150mph. Power was rumoured to be over 300bhp, rather than the 276bhp 'agreement'.Widely regarded as the finest Lancer to wear the Evolution badge, it was now available in five colours, with Passion Red and Canal Blue joining Scotia White, Pyrenean Black and Satellite Silver. Only 250 TMEs (across the five colours) were officially imported into the UK, with 100 examples going to Australia and the rest sold domestically in the Japanese market. Official figures show that of the UK's allocation, only 50 examples were in Canal Blue, perhaps the more discreet colour for a TME.The car presented here is one of those in Canal Blue, so not only is it a genuine Evolution VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition (CP9A/SNGF2) car, but it is also an official UK-market example. This means it was officially imported by Mitsubishi-affiliated Ralliart UK and consequently it would have been professionally SVA'd. It's supplied with UK service books, a calibrated speedometer, an unleaded-spec fuel restrictor, cold-climate battery and an alternator, plus it is individually numbered with a plaque in the cabin, reading #119.It was supplied new through Ralliart Mitsubishi Motors/Colt Car Company Ltd of Gloucestershire and passed through a few enthusiast owners before being acquired by our vendor in 2004. He had always wanted a TME and bought the best example he could find. It was in superb original condition, with a full-service history and approximately 15,500 miles. Over the last 20 years, remarkably, the car has only covered just over 2,500 miles, yet no expense has been spared on maintenance, servicing, enhancement and care. Just some of the top-quality upgrades include: HKS Silent Hi Power exhaust, Ecutek remap, Walbro fuel pump, Turbosmart EBOOST 2 boost controller & dual port dump valve, AP Racing 6-pot 362mm brake kit and Ultralite ATEC ll alloy wheels. The car has been always garaged and stored on a trickle charger in an insulated private car cave. It's accompanied by its full bookpack including service booklet and numerous invoices for its upgrades and maintenance, giving any potential buyer huge confidence. After many years of diligent ownership, circumstances now mean that the family have to sell this special car and hope it goes to a similarly-minded enthusiast to use and enjoy.Specification Make: MITSUBISHI Model: LANCER EVOLUTION VL 'TOMMI MAKINEN EDITION' UK-SPECIFICATION CHASSIS #060 Year: 2001 Chassis Number: CP9A0201389 Registration Number: Y232 HEU Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 4G63G0605 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 17541 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: TMEClick here for more details and images

**Please note for clarity the car has an ‘untouched underside’ and no restoration work has been done since its import. It retains its original GT-R mats and most of the standard original parts will be in the boot/included in the sale. The Rays wheels were on the car upon purchase and in our vendors ownership, all work has been undertaken by J A Kit and Customs with the exception of MOTs.** Simply put, this R34 is JDM royalty. Possibly the most iconic car from the modern classic era, immortalised in film franchises and rightfully adored by all. With mechanical upgrades and JDM goodies galore, this R34 is running c.550bhp, yet looks undeniably OEM+. Offered directly from ‘The Well Timed' Collection. The Skyline R34 GT-R is highly revered by all, whether a JDM aficionado or not, one cannot deny their presence and popularity in the car world. Standing as arguably the most iconic Japanese performance car in history. Whilst many of the PlayStation generation may have first experienced the drama of the R34 GT-R V-Spec through Gran Turismo, it was its appearance in the Fast and Furious franchise that led to an explosion in global popularity for the R34 GT-R, with the late Paul Walker driving one in 2 Fast 2 Furious, enhancing its almost cult status. But it was in the 'real' world where the R34 GT-R V-Spec would cement its reputation. Described by Evo magazine as 'A warrior-class performer' in its 2007 road test, where a standard R34 GT-R was pitted against the likes of the McLaren F1, Pagani Zonda, Ferrari F40 and Bugatti Veyron, the GT-R’s reputation as a class act remained intact. While the R34 may not be able to claim the original 'Godzilla' title, as that remains with the R32 GT-R, the newcomer certainly carried the torch, and arguably the R34 GT-R has become the most iconic and most recognised car ever to emerge from Japan, especially in their late 1990s golden era. The R33 GT-R was a very good car, but many found it to be too bulky in design and too heavy to be a worthy successor to the R32 GT-R, which the R34 sought to rectify and did so with flying colours. Released with a shorter, sharper design and the performance to match, it’s safe to say the bite truly matches the bark. The car featured aggressive new styling, a stiffer bodyshell and a reworked version of the bulletproof and highly modifiable RB26DETT twin-turbo inline-six under the bonnet, mated to an all-new Getrag 6-speed gearbox and transfer case, although the electronically-controlled Super HICAS rear-wheel steering system was retained. Unlike some other performance cars of the 1990s, Nissan did not neglect the braking system and fitted Brembo brakes with 300mm vented discs. For a car released in 1999, the R34 came crammed full of technology meaning it was well ahead of its time. It featured a 5.8" LCD multifunction display in the dashboard, showing seven different live readings of engine and vehicle statistics such as boost pressure, oil/water temperature and throttle percentage among others. The V-Spec was introduced in October 1999, just nine months after the launch of the R34 Series I, making it an almost immediate upgrade over the standard car. While the Series I was a fantastic car, the improvements were thorough and ensured the V-Spec and V-Spec II cars are even more desirable. Changes for the V-Spec included an improved suspension system, featuring stiffer springs and dampers, Brembo brakes as standard, lighter forged aluminium wheels allowing wider tires, an active Limited Slip Differential and an improved aero package with a front lip spoiler and carbon fibre rear wing.Arguably the black sheep of 'The Well Timed' Collection, this R34 is simply phenomenal. Of the 11,578 R34 GT-Rs produced, just 1,238 of them were Bayside Blue (TV2) V-Spec Is, and this is surely one of the finest examples to reach the open market. This R34 GT-R V-Spec I presents in simply exceptional condition and has been maintained religiously throughout its eight-year UK ownership. Within the history file there is every MOT since its 2015 import and a whole host of Japanese paperwork including the original service pack, featuring an abundance of rarely kept Japanese maintenance paperwork, original Skyline instruction manual and three sets of keys. Additionally, there is paperwork documenting its upgrades whilst in Japan including the ¥915,000 (c.£5,000) sheet of fitted JDM upgrades including HKS, NISMO and Apexi parts amongst others, as well as their accompanying sales sheets. The bulk of the UK servicing has been undertaken by J A Kit & Customs, as well as by our enthusiast vendor. Our vendor wanted the car to be the best of the best, whilst retaining OEM/OEM+ aesthetics and fitted a host of upgrades including bronze Rays CE28 wheels, electronically adjustable Tein coil-over suspension, NISMO sway bars, an HKS turbo timer, new turbos, a Link G4 ECU and a host of undetectable mechanical upgrades (summary sheet provided in history file), which allowed marque specialist tuner, Martin Battye, to extract well over 500bhp from the wonderful RB26.With the way that R34 GT-R prices have skyrocketed comfortably into the six-figure department in recent years, this cherished, uprated, Bayside Blue example is surely the last chance to acquire such a desirable car for reasonable money, especially considering the 25-year import rule has now legalised the import of this car into the USA.Sympathetically upgraded to OEM+ specification, this GT-R looks, drives and is exactly what you’d wish a GT-R to be. They say don’t meet your heroes, but if you’re going to, you’d struggle to find a better R34 GT-R hero than this one, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.SpecificationMake: NISSANModel: SKYLINE R34 GT-R V-SPEC IYear: 1999Chassis Number: BNR34004637Registration Number: T84 GTRTransmission: ManualEngine Number: RB26-DETTDrive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 92000 KMMake: RHDInterior Colour: Grey ClothClick here for more details and images

With just one previous registered keeper and 49,960 miles from new, this rare MB Quattro is in fabulous condition and fresh to market. Audi's Quattro is a legend that re-wrote the form book in International Rallying, as well as causing rival manufacturers to rethink their offerings and was, quite literally, a trailblazer. The story began with Audi chassis engineer Jörg Bensinger, who spent a Finnish winter testing the Volkswagen Iltis, a four-wheel drive West German military and forest service vehicle, and found it could outperform all other machines on snow, whatever their type or power output. He put the idea of a four-wheel drive version of the Audi 80 Coupé to the company's hierarchy and, well, you know the rest. The resulting model was launched to great excitement at the 1980 Geneva Salon and then released to European customers later the same year, powered initially by the WR-prefixed, 2,144cc in-line, five-cylinder, 10-valve SOHC unit with turbocharger and intercooler. For the 1988-model year, Audi introduced the most significant changes yet. The second-generation Quattro was cosmetically little altered but, at its heart, the new Quattro MB had an engine that was 93cc bigger than before at 2,226cc. It was fitted with hydraulic instead of solid lifters, compression was increased from the original 7:1 to 8.6:1 and a new KKK K24 turbo replaced the early car’s K26 item. Turbo-boost was reduced from 0.68 bar to 0.56 bar and there was a new electronic 'wastegate' control. Although the MB Quattro's official power output of 200bhp at 5,500rpm was unchanged, the new car offered peak torque lower in the rev range: 270lb/ft at 3,000rpm instead of 285lb/ft at 3,500rpm. The Quattro’s 5-speed manual transmission was uprated with a Torsen torque-sensing differential and the brakes were uprated with twin-piston calipers and a larger master cylinder.Production of the MB Quattro continued from August 1987 until July 1989, at which point it was replaced by the 20-valve RR variant, making the MB the rarest iteration. On offer here is a very special, UK-supplied, right-hand drive Quattro MB that's showing just one previous registered keeper on the V5 and had only covered 49,960 miles from new at the time of cataloguing. First registered on 25th August 1988, the car is finished in Nautic Blue and is accompanied by its original service book (12 stamps), marketing material, booklets and previous MOTs.The last service recorded in the booklet was in April 2000 at 49,347 miles so, remarkably, it’s only covered 613 miles during the past 24 years having been cherished in long-term storage for over two decades. In the past couple of years, the Quattro has been thoroughly mechanically recommissioned in order to return to the road and the results of this hard work are clear to see. The car now boasts a current MOT valid until July 2024 and we really do recommend interested parties come along to Sywell Aerodrome to see this example in the metal. To find a rare 'MB' Quattro that shows just one previous registered keeper, has covered less than 50,000 miles and is fresh to market from long term ownership is a rare opportunity and this one will surely reward a closer inspection.Specification Make: AUDI Model: QUATTRO 10V Year: 1988 Chassis Number: WAUZZZ85ZJA900593 Registration Number: A601 XAM Transmission: Manual Engine Number: MB001349 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 49960 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

Well presented in Galway Green, this Defender 90 was originally part of the late Queen Elizabeth II's Sandringham Estate.  The humble Land Rover Defender is one of life's great classless cars, being favoured by all walks of life looking for a reliable go-anywhere, do-anything vehicle. From Royalty to land workers, from Kensington to the Kyle of Lochalsh, you’ll be sure to find a Defender working away exactly as Solihull’s engineers designed it to do.Powered by a plethora of petrol and turbocharged diesel engines and boasting all wheel-drive, low and high-range gearing, advanced suspension setups and a seemingly endless list of both factory and after-market customisation options, the Defender is rightfully referred to as the king of all production off-road vehicles, and remains both a design icon and a landmark part of automotive history to this day.For 2007, the Defender benefited from a serious refresh with a new common-rail diesel EU4-compliant engine from the Ford Transit, a new 6-speed gearbox, new fascia, new seats and a heating and ventilation system that actually works.Offered in the rather exclusive combination of Galway Green with a black cloth interior, this lovely Defender 90 County spent the first 18 months of its life on the late Queen's beloved Sandringham Estate. When it returned to Land Rover Vehicle Operations at Gaydon in 2010, it had only covered only 679 miles. It was sold through Harwoods Land Rover to its second owners who used it in Scotland for a few years before driving it down to Spain to enjoy at their property down there. It was subsequently sold to a dealer in Spain and later returned to the UK in 2021.This lovely Land Rover County has now covered some 41,725 miles and is supplied with an MOT valid until July 2024 showing ‘No Advisories’. The service book details five services, mostly completed by main dealers, and a history file that contains numerous previous MOTs.As 'evergreen' as ever, these defining Defender 90 Counties still have the ability to blend into any occasion and, with its early Sandringham connection, would be welcome anywhere. Specification Make: LAND ROVER Model: DEFENDER 90 Year: 2008 Chassis Number: SALLDVBS79A769131 Registration Number: BN58 RWL Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 080818133204244DT Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 41725 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Black ClothClick here for more details and images

Extremely well specified, finished in its original paintwork of Techno Violet over the amazingly rare factory-optioned Anthracite Alcantara M-Cross + Amaretta Vader interior, just 60,000 miles with its two owners and a full BMW service history from new.  At the Paris Motor Show in 1992, BMW introduced the successor to the widely adored E30 M3 with the E36 M3. The second incarnation of the model was a different animal to the original 1980's E30, replacing the four-cylinder with a straight-six, sleeker styling, modernised and a more refined demeanour. At the time, the Motorsport Division's new take on the iconic M3 was to utilise the standard M50TU engine (used in other E36s and earlier E34s), however there were numerous upgrades over the standard M50 including individual throttle bodies, continuously variable 'Vanos' valve timing, dual-mass flywheel, lightweight pistons, graphite-coated connecting rods, larger inlet valves and redesigned equal-length exhaust manifolds.Things continued to improve with the expansion of the range in 1994 with the arrival of the second generation E36 M3 Evolution cars powered by the new S52B32, a 3.2-litre straight-six with the compression ratio raised to 11.3:1, significantly upping the power output from 282bhp to 321bhp at 7,400rpm, mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a sequential DSG transmission. Other changes included a new Cornering Brake Control system and staggered 17" wheels, with meatier 225/45 ZR17 fronts and 245/40 ZR17 rear tyres. The E36 M3 Evolution was and still is regarded as one of the best sports cars of the 1990s and was awarded Best-Handling Car by Car and Driver magazine in 1997. BMW’s E36 M3 Evolution was destined to become a classic from the start but, although unfairly overlooked in recent years, its time will come. This stunning 1998 E36 M3 Evolution is arguably the best specified example we have ever seen, making it quite possibly the ultimate E36 M3 Evolution. A late car, first registered in October 1998, it's finished in the rare Techno Violet paintwork with the very, very rare Anthracite Alcantara M-Cross + Amaretta interior optioned from new and is fitted with a strong selection of optional extras.Becoming increasingly popular and difficult to source in excellent condition, this E36 M3 Evolution offers a rare opportunity to own an example that has covered a warranted 60,200 miles in the hands of its two owners from new. Having formed part of a private Collection of modern classics, the car has a history file that is as exemplary as its aesthetics. With 12 main dealer services and three additional BMW specialist services, it is safe to say that the car has been cossetted all its life and needs nothing. Our vendor is a true perfectionist and had the car inspected and detailed by a trusted detailer who has confirmed that (with the exception of the front bumper) the paintwork is all original, increasingly hard to find. There are a few minor stone chips present on the bonnet, but nothing more than what is to be expected. With so many of these E36 M3s being turned into track cars, race cars or simply not maintained, it is heartening to see such a wonderfully specified, original example in such outstanding condition. Criminally underrated, with values steadily on the rise, these E36 M3s truly warrant their time in the sun.Specification Make: BMW Model: E36 M3 EVOLUTION Year: 1998 Chassis Number: WBSBG92000EA90755 Registration Number: 44 MXW Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 60031851 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 60200 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Grey AlcantaraClick here for more details and images

Perhaps the most accomplished Evo ever, one of 35 examples specially enhanced by Mitsubishi to be a UK-market only model; 403bhp, 387lb/ft, 0-62mph in 3.8sec, just a single owner and only 7,600 miles. The Evo X is likely to go down in history - because since production stopped in 2016, Mitsubishi no longer sells a successor and, in fact, the brand has pretty much pulled out of the UK-market altogether. Buy an Evo X and you’re buying the ultimate evolution of one of the greatest performance car series ever. The Lancer Evo X was a bigger step on from its predecessor than any other model in the Lancer Evolution series. Like previous Evos, the unit was still a 2-litre turbocharged inline four, but the cylinder block was cast aluminium rather than cast iron. It was 12kg lighter as a result, used a timing chain rather than a belt and featured MIVEC valve-timing for both intake and exhaust valves, rather than just the intake. The raw statistics alone are impressive – 403bhp, 387lb/ft, and 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds – car magazine said: 'This is the best Evo X; it is quantifiably better – not just faster – than every other Evo X, and quite possibly the best Evo ever'.All FQ-400 Evo X cars started life as FQ-360s (and were registered as such) before being enhanced by Mitsubishi-appointed tuning companies and each FQ-400 had to be registered through an SVA/IVA Type Approval scheme due to the modifications. The engine output was now 201.7bhp per litre thanks to high-flow fuel injectors, a new hybrid turbo, upgraded intercooler, and re-mapped engine management. But the area where New Zealand-based WRC Developments (responsible, along with Ecutek, for the whole UK FQ line-up) has made the biggest difference is in the suspension, which now featured new Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs. Track widths are up 20mm front and rear and the whole body sits 30mm lower, those are big shifts, and they make a big difference. The brakes too, Alcons replacing the previous Brembos, are mightily impressive and are easier to modulate in the first inch of travel. The exterior was not neglected either with a redesigned bonnet, lightweight front bumper, restyled composite rear bumper, a trapezoidal centre-exit exhaust and lightweight 18" wheels. The car presented here is a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ-400, having covered just 7,600 miles from new with its one and only owner. It is #17 of 35 examples specially enhanced by Mitsubishi to be a UK-market only model. Offered to auction from the revered Mayo Collection, this is an exceptional car, remaining factory-standard. Looking suitably purposeful in Phantom Black (one of only six FQ-400 examples in this colour), it was supplied new through Mitsubishi dealership, Colt Cars UK Ltd., in 2010 and was first registered on 1st March. It's accompanied by its handbooks and sales brochure as well as a large history portfolio. Its original owner, a collector of some notable cars, sadly passed away last year and ownership passed to his sister who hasn’t even driven the car and now lives overseas. Iconic Auctioneers welcome any inspection of this limited production ‘supercar with four doors’, you will not be disappointed – it is quite possibly the best example of its type available.Specification Make: MITSUBISHI Model: LANCER EVOLUTION X FQ-400 Year: 2010 Chassis Number: CZ4A0006599 Registration Number: HY10 AAO Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 4B11BT7758 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 8000 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

And still we find them - one registered lady owner from new and just 14,975 miles, remarkable. Built at Subaru's Fuji Heavy Industries plant in Japan and honed by rally 'royalty', Prodrive, the Impreza P1 was always destined to become the hugely desirable modern classic that we rightfully see it as today. Built in a limited run of 1,000 examples, all were painted in Sonic Blue and using the WRX STi Type R as a base, Prodrive engineers installed the anti-roll bars from the European-specification Impreza Turbo, along with firmer springs and shock absorbers, to deliver a suspension set up better suited to continental roads. They were powered by a revised version of the rally engine with re-calibrated electronics and developing no less than 280bhp, 69bhp more than the standard Impreza Turbo. The cars also featured ABS, as well as the Peter Stevens-designed anthracite OZ Racing wheels, front spoiler and rear wing.On offer here is a very exciting and perhaps unrepeatable find. This P1 is a UK-supplied, right-hand drive example sold new by Keith Price Garages Ltd of Abergavenny, Monmouthshire in March 2001 to its one and only registered keeper, a lady who lived locally. It was enjoyed sparingly with less and less use as the years went on and as a result, the odometer read just 14,975 miles at the time of cataloguing. She kept the car for 22 years until it then came into the possession of our vendor, who enjoys a significant private Collection. He has not registered or used the car under his ownership and a change in direction for the Collection means that the P1 is now available for its next lucky owner. The history file includes the car's V5C (showing no former keepers), the dealer book pack with additional P1 literature, the service book with three stamps, some Tracker correspondence and a number of old MOTs. The car presents as you would expect for such low mileage and the original radio is included with the car. So rare is it to find such a low ownership/low mileage example that Octane magazine carried out an in-depth feature on the car, in their May 2023 edition. It's hard to find an Impreza P1 in today’s market, regardless of condition, so to find one in this condition with this provenance is almost in the realms of mythology. With soaring prices of Japanese Domestic Market cars, and 22Bs heading well north of £100,000 in recent years, this P1 may well be an unrepeatable opportunity, and is perfect for any discerning collector, enthusiast or purist.Specification Make: SUBARU Model: IMPREZA Year: 2001 Chassis Number: JF1GM8KDGYG003407 Registration Number: Y131 GHB Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 888492 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 14986 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

An ex-Ford Motor Company Press Car in Moonstone Blue with a grey cloth Recaro interior in all round excellent condition. In 1988, Ford introduced the four-door Sapphire Cosworth, a family saloon which was, perhaps, a little more discreet than its be-spoilered sibling. As the name suggests, it was based on the Sapphire saloon and used the existing 1,993cc Cosworth twin-cam turbo.A couple of years later, in January 1990, the third-generation Sierra RS Cosworth was launched, this time with four-wheel drive. As early as 1987, Mike Moreton and Ford Motorsport had been talking about a four-wheel drive Sierra RS Cosworth that could make Ford competitive in the World Rally Championship. Ford Motorsport's desire for a three-door 'Motorsport Special' equivalent to the original Sierra RS Cosworth was not embraced however, as it was felt that the more discreet, family-friendly four-door version was considered to have a better marketing potential. Consequently, it was decided that the new car should be a natural development of the second-generation cars and would be launched in conjunction with the facelift scheduled for the entire Sierra range in 1990. They were now powered by the 220bhp Cosworth YBG/YBJ mated to the Ferguson 4x4 MT75 transmission and 0-60mph took just 5.6 seconds, pretty impressive for a family saloon. On offer here is a UK-supplied, right-hand drive Sapphire Cosworth that was used by the Ford Motor Company as a press car, featuring in many marketing materials as you can see in the images one our website. First registered on 15th March 1990, the Sapphire is finished in Moonstone Blue with a classic RS Recaro interior in grey velour and cloth and was showing 78,418 miles at the time of cataloguing. The vendor, a true RS-enthusiast, has owned this wonderful Ford Press Car since 1995 and he has kept it carefully garaged and maintained with regular lubrication services during this time. Coming to market due to retirement and subsequent loss of dry storage, the car will be presented to auction benefiting from a major service that included a fresh cambelt, water pump and an advisory-free MOT.It’s accompanied by both keys, a period Cobra Alarm, recently refurbished alloy wheels, its history file and an original copy of the July 1990 Fast Ford Magazine in which the car featured as part of its former press activity. This is an important example in all round excellent condition that’s worthy of serious consideration by any collector of RS Fords.Specification Make: FORD Model: SIERRA RS COSWORTH Year: 1990 Chassis Number: WF0FXXGBBFLY26936 Registration Number: G364 COO Transmission: Manual Engine Number: LY26936 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 78418 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Grey ClothClick here for more details and images

An incredible opportunity to acquire possibly the finest low-mileage example of the best selling commercial vehicle in UK history, a Mk1 Ford Transit, rescued from its slumber by none other than TV's own Mike Brewer. Found nestled in the rear of a garage, this particular Transit was found by TV's own Mike Brewer some years ago. It had been acquired as an ex-German Fire Service truck, having been rolled out of its garage occasionally, cleaned regularly and attending very few events, explaining the low mileage. Those of us who spent their formative driving years at the wheel of a Mk1 Transit will remember them with fondness. Quick (when empty), nimble (they could out-handle an MG B), easy to drive and reverse and generally totally user friendly. Mike Brewer obviously felt the same way and was quick to snap up this left-hand drive 'Fire Engine Red' LWB twin-wheeler with about 10,000 miles (at the time) for a forthcoming episode of Wheeler Dealers (Season 17, Episode 13).During the programme, the unflappable Elvis explained the rather complex process of converting the van to right-hand drive in great detail. The first job was stripping the front end and removing the engine, gearbox and the many parts that were attached to the front bulkhead. Then the conversion could begin, and a chap called Keith had supplied a handy template so Elvis knew where to cut the holes for the steering gear and pedals. Back at the workshop, a clever plan to cut and weld the dashboard meant Elvis could re-locate the instrument binnacle and then it was a matter of fitting all the parts that would complete the conversion. The now right-hand drive van could head off to get a fresh coat of Ford Light Grey, its original colour. However, there was still plenty of work to do! A front leaf spring needed to be reconditioned, various new bushes fitted and the final drive ratio reduced from 5.8:1 down to 4.6:1 with a replacement crown wheel and pinion, enabling much more relaxed cruising whilst still retaining decent acceleration.Mike has called this one if his favourite builds on Wheeler Dealers and he certainly loved the result. It’s obvious at the end of the programme that he really didn’t want to part with the Transit but the whole idea of the show is that the vehicles have to be sold and it soon became the property of a local van dealer for the full asking price. The van dealer was a very helpful chap and agreed that Mike could borrow the Transit to take to the Classic Motor Show at the NEC a short time later as part of their Wheeler Dealers presentation, however once reunited with the van, Mike decided that he wanted to keep it and made his dealer friend an 'offer that he couldn’t refuse' and his beloved Mk 1 joined the Brewer Collection.Mike had no intention of selling the Transit, or either of his two Porsches also in our sale, but a rather exciting (and probably expensive) project is on the horizon so a bit of space needs to be created. We invite and encourage your viewing of this 'best of breed' LWB Transit.Specification Make: FORD Model: TRANSIT MK1 LWB Year: 1974 Chassis Number: GB81PT11846 Registration Number: SAT 78M Transmission: Manual Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 18000 KM Make: RHD Interior Colour: GreyClick here for more details and images

Rare and increasingly desirable, this superb Escort 'AVO' Mk1 RS2000 is fresh from an exacting restoration. With their Escort doing so well in the world of rallying, it made sense that Ford would try and sell developed versions beyond the usual homologation specials. The job of creating more widely produced, fast Escorts was left to Ford's new Advanced Vehicle Operations, based in Essex.Following up on the rather complex RS1600 of 1970 came the Mexico and RS2000 which were far more suited to the man in the street. In June 1973, the Mexico was supplanted by the RS2000 and the model fitted nicely into the AVO line up with its performance almost comparable to the RS1600, but with the same reliability and ease of maintenance as the Mexico. Importantly, the RS2000 utilised the same Type-49 body shell as the Mexico and RS1600.The RS2000 was the first Escort to be powered by the overhead cam four-pot, as Ford decided that their 1,993cc 'Pinto' engine was to be used in the new model however, Ford faced the problem of persuading the bulky Pinto engine to fit into the engine bay and the only way of achieving this was to discard the engine-driven cooling fan and replace it with a thermostatically controlled Kenlowe unit. When finally nestled in place, the Pinto engine produced 100bhp and the RS2000 once again proved to be a quick and delightful car to drive, whilst being more accessible to buy and still offering customers a great choice in terms of colours and options.Finished in its original factory colour of Olympic Blue with a grey cloth interior, this fabulous RS2000 is offered fresh from an exacting professional restoration and with work just completed, it’s clear to see the lengths that have been taken to preserve the original detail with the standard of work being exemplary. No stone has been left unturned with every nut, bolt, washer and screw having received attention. The matching numbers engine and gearbox have been rebuilt by Ridgeway Racing Engines with particular attention to detail as Paul Broadway, the founder of Ridgeway Racing Engines, was the previous custodian, having had the Escort in his care for some 27 years. The original Twin 40 DHLA Dell’Orto carbs have been replaced by a pair of 45DCOE Webers on a Simpson stainless steel manifold with burnt gases exiting through a stainless-steel 2.5’’ sports exhaust system. Delve a little deeper and you see the original etched glass still in place, even the original radiator has been retained rather than replaced, simply requiring a new core. Similarly, the suspension and braking system have been fully overhauled as required and the car now sits on the correct RS-Ronal 7.5"x13" 4-spoke alloys wearing fresh Nankang rubber. The interior has also received the same level of attention with a retrim by Aldridge Trimming and the delicate dashboard veneers carefully refinished. So fresh, in fact, is the build that a period of running-in is strongly recommended to obtain the very best from this spectacular Ford.Your early inspection is welcomed and encouraged to fully appreciate the detail of this RS2000 which is as clean on the underside as it is on top. To find a genuine AVO-built RS2000 is a rare thing, particularly when factory-fitted with the Custom Pack, but to find one in this condition is extraordinary.Specification Make: FORD Model: ESCORT RS2000 Year: 1974 Chassis Number: BFATPY00498 Registration Number: OAL 776M Transmission: Manual Engine Number: TBA Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 611 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: BlackClick here for more details and images

One of 130 UK right-hand drive examples of the final year of production 930 Turbo with the G50, 5-speed gearbox and less than 10,000 miles from new. First introduced in 1975, the 930 Turbo version of the amazing Porsche 911 evolved every few years to maintain its position as one of the fastest and most desirable sports cars of its time. By 1989, the final versions were offering 330bhp, which when coupled with the new G50 5-speed gearbox, propelled the car up to a top speed of 162mph and a 0-60 was covered in just 4.9 seconds. Porsche enthusiasts often consider the 930 of 1989 to be the ultimate incarnation, as it was the only year that this model was fitted with the 5-speed G50 gearbox which offered ratios better suited to the Turbo's power delivery, and 1989 was the last year of production of the iconic 930 Turbo which makes it just that bit special.Offered here is one of those 130 final UK (C16), right-hand drive cars finished in its original factory Paint to Sample (PTS), Minerva Blue with a Colour to Sample White interior, almost certainly unique amongst those final G50 cars. Supplied new to its one and only owner by the Official Porsche Centre, Swinford Motors, on 1st August 1989, it has remained cossetted in his heated garage for nearly 35 years, covering only 9,955 miles in that time.It was meticulously maintained by Porsche Centres until 2005, when the owner acquired a Ferrari 430 and the Porsche was carefully stored until now, but constantly maintained and used only sparingly on fine days. This truly exceptional, UK-delivered C16 Porsche 911 Turbo comes complete with a comprehensive list of factory options, an 'as new' tool kit and is MOT’d until November 2024.Specification Make: PORSCHE Model: 911 Year: 1989 Chassis Number: WP0ZZZ93ZKS000458 Registration Number: G464 LWD Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 67K00624 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 9955 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: CTS White LeatherClick here for more details and images

A rare and desirable Fulvia Sport Zagato that has been professionally and sympathetically restored to its original specification. The Fulvia Sport was a fastback two-seater based on Fulvia Coupé mechanicals and clothed in curvaceous and lightweight bodywork styled by Ercole Spada of the Zagato design house in Milan, known for the immortal Aston Martin DB4 Zagato. Powered by an innovative, 1,298cc, OHC, narrow-angle V4 engine and featuring double wishbone independent suspension, the nimble Zagato-bodied cars proved themselves well in motorsport, scoring highly in events such as the Sebring 12 Hours, the Daytona 24 Hours and winning the 1972 International Rally Championship outright. In a contemporary road test, Road & Track magazine described the Fulvia as 'a precision motorcar, an engineering tour-de-force'.This particular 1.3-litre Fulvia Sport Zagato was first registered on 3rd April 1969 and is believed to be one of only a handful of original right-hand drive examples known to still exist and one of the last 'real' Lancias built before FIAT’s takeover in late 1969.It has been sympathetically restored to a superb level, with the emphasis being on originality and retains all of the signature Fulvia Zagato features unique to the Series 1 including the alloy side-opening bonnet, alloy door skins and spare wheel hatch. The bodywork was taken back to bare metal and fully prepared before being professionally refinished in many coats of Lancia Blue Mendoza. The engine was fully rebuilt with all new pistons and bearings, the twin Solex carburettors were refinished, the original Dunlop disc brakes were rebuilt and the suspension and underpinnings received equal attention. Naturally the interior was not left out and was retrimmed and refurbished as required with the seats and door cards benefiting from period-correct fresh tan vinyl. The little Lancia is accompanied by a comprehensive history file which includes a continuous ownership log detailing just four recorded keepers until 1978 and then the same family ownership until 2021, as well as further documentation helping to support the indicated mileage of 48,944.Ex-works 'HF' rally cars aside, the Sport Zagato is the most desirable and collectable of all the Fulvias and undeniably one of the most striking designs of its era. These period coach-built motor cars are becoming more and more sought after and this rare example seems very reasonably guided, especially considering the amount of time, money and love invested in it.Specification Make: LANCIA Model: FULVIA SPORT 1.3 ZAGATO Year: 1969 Chassis Number: 818 333 2572 Registration Number: VXD 34G Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 818 302 17675 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 48944 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Tan VinylClick here for more details and images

Super smooth straight-six 'Sharknose' 635 CSi with just 27,000 miles from new and in superb condition. BMW's E24 6-Series is regarded as one of the best German high-performance coupés of the late 20th century, an elegantly styled, extremely rapid Grand Tourer powered by the Bavarian marque's superb range of straight-sixes. Initially launched in 1976 in either carburetted 630CS form or with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel-injection (as the 633CSi), the definitive E24 for most people was the 635CSi announced two years later, with an appreciable power boost from its 3.5-litre engine. Sporting a discreet front air dam and boot lid spoiler, the 635CSi was available with a 5-speed gearbox for the first time, although most customers opted for the refined ZF automatic, making manual cars something of a rarity these days. The beautifully appointed cabin could accommodate four adults in genuine comfort whilst the cockpit-style dashboard layout and instrument panel set the standard for generations of future BMWs. A new feature was the Check Control System, monitoring light bulbs, fluid levels and brake pads – commonplace on today’s luxury cars but a real innovation at the time.On offer and is an original, UK-supplied, right-hand drive, post-facelift 635CSi with the revised exterior and interior styling and upgraded chassis, suspension, and electronics. It’s powered by BMW's sonorous 215bhp M30 straight-six with a smooth 4-speed automatic gearbox and is superbly presented in Polaris Silver with a blue cloth interior in excellent condition. It was first registered on 1st July 1982 and has been with its current owner for seven years. At the time of cataloguing, the indicated mileage was just 26,818 and this is supported by a large history file with extensive historic paperwork including invoices since our vendor's purchase in 2017. Included in the file is a letter (12th September 2007) from Munich Legends stating that this '1982 facelift model is a truly exceptional example' and that 'finding such a car at any price would be extremely difficult'. The current MOT is valid until February 2025 and was issued with 'No Advisories'.Epitomising style and mechanical prowess when they arrived on the motoring scene in 1976, these beautiful coupés will always stand the test of time with the ability to 'wow' anywhere.Very sensibly estimated, we invite and encourage your inspection of this classic BMW.Specification Make: BMW Model: 635 CSI Year: 1982 Chassis Number: WBAEC8204C8185083 Registration Number: DBH 626X Transmission: Auto Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 27000 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

Very special. C870 EUD is one of only nine 'Works' cars built to the ultimate International Tarmac Specification and competed in two WRC 'Group B' rallies driven by Tony Pond and Marc Duez.  In the early 1980s, fully aware of the influence of motorsport success on their sales figures, the British Leyland hierarchy was seeking another vehicle to carry the company name to sporting success however, in reality, there were no obvious candidates. It was only with the announcement of a new 'Group B' category for rally cars that the way became clear for what was to become the 6R4 programme. Under the new regulations, only 200 units were required for 'homologation' plus 20 'Evolution' models and there were relatively few design restrictions. Turbocharged engines, four-wheel drive, state of the art materials and lots of aero mods were allowed resulting, over the next four years, in some of the wildest and most powerful competition machines ever produced. As is well documented elsewhere, the world of International Rallying was devastated in 1985/1986 by a number of high-profile fatal accidents resulting in 'Group B' rally cars being outlawed for the 1987 season, effectively ending the 6R4's International career. Because of its long gestation period, the 6R4 undoubtedly arrived one or two years too late. Its performance on the 1985 RAC Rally - its best-ever placing - indicated that an earlier start could have yielded much better results, certainly in the 1986 learning year. However, perhaps because of their slightly macabre 'bad-boy' reputation or maybe due to their ballistic performance potential and the short time-span in which they ruled, genuine 'Works' 'Group B' rally cars have become incredibly valuable, rivalled only by F1 cars with serious provenance and Le Mans winners. Consequently, we are delighted to be able to offer this genuine Works 6R4, C870 EUD.Chassis #207, on offer here, is one of only nine ‘Works’ cars and was built to the ‘ultimate tarmac specification’, leaving the factory fitted with the full International Specification engine producing 410bhp. It was built for the 1986 WRC Campaign and was put together over the Christmas period of 1985. #207 made its debut on the highly prestigious 1986 Monte Carlo Rally driven by the late Tony Pond with co-driver, Rob Arthur, and indeed the opening television footage of the 1986 Monte Carlo Rally is predominantly of Tony Pond in this very car.In Computer Vision colours, the 6R4 was subsequently used on the ill-fated Rally de Portugal of 1986, driven by Marc Duez. Sadly the accident and spectator deaths on this rally involving Santos' Ford RS200 would contribute to the demise of the 'Group B' Rally category at the end of the 1986 season. C870 EUD was withdrawn from the rally immediately after the confirmation of the spectator deaths by Austin Rover Group. We’re informed that #207 has never been crashed, used by privateers in a detuned specification or rallycrossed and the car has been preserved in full period specification for its entire life. With the exception of being used on two demonstration events by the car’s current owner of 22 years, it appears to have only been used four times since its retirement, however it has been much admired on display at the Williams F1 Museum for many years and has made appearances in the lobby of the RAC Club in Pall Mall, a privilege reserved for only a few vehicles considered to have played an important part in the history of motorsport. In 2020/21, the engine was removed by Williams F1 Heritage and around this time the original engine, 068, was rebuilt by Engine Developments Ltd of Rugby. Full details of this are in the car’s history file and 068 has not been used in anger since.Enjoying the distinction of having been a 'Works' 'Group B' car at two WRC events including the Monte, coupled with the fact that it remains in the very latest specification as developed ‘in period’ means that, in our opinion, C870 EUD is undoubtedly one of the best examples currently available. Its exceptional originality and full ownership history represent an unrepeatable opportunity and we welcome any enquiries and requests for appointments to view this important ex-Works MG Metro 6R4.The car will be accompanied by three original 6R4 wheels (2R/1F), an original MG cover from the RAC Rally, Tony Pond’s original seat belts from 1986 and a set of original spot lamps.Specification Make: MG Model: METRO 6R4 Year: 1985 Chassis Number: SAXXRWNP7AD570207 Registration Number: C870 EUD Transmission: Manual Drive Side: Right-hand DriveClick here for more details and images

Glorious Dark Blue Mk2 that benefits from an older restoration with performance upgrades and 'Coombs'-style enhancements. Excitingly offered at 'No Reserve'. Racing driver John Coombs' name will forever be linked with that of Jaguar, his MkI and Mk2 saloons being at the forefront of British saloon car racing throughout the late 1950s/early 1960s. He gave up competitive driving to concentrate on running his Guildford-based Jaguar dealership, making the benefit of his experience available to customers, and over the next seven years they modified between 30 and 40 Mk2s.Essentially, the Coombs conversion consisted of an uprated engine matched by steering and suspension modifications, but the company offered a plethora of options from which customers could choose. They included an additional fuel tank, a wood-rim steering wheel and a chrome plated boot rack. Coombs would also modify the rear wheel arches, removing the spats and making up rolled edges to match the profile of the front wheel arches. The primary objective of this was to improve access for wheel changing during motorsport events, but the modification improved the appearance of the car so much that it is surprising Jaguar themselves did not adopt the modification for production cars. Not all the Coombs cars had the same state of tune, but the typical engine had 9:1 compression pistons, a lightened flywheel and a different carburettor air-intake system. The whole bottom-end assembly would be balanced and the cylinder head would be gas-flowed. A number of Coombs-style cars feature a louvred bonnet but this was not an advertised option in the early days. The classic 3.8-litre Mk2 offered here has been restored and rebuilt in the style of those 1960s John Coombs cars. A Jaguar/Daimler Dating Letter on file reveals that chassis #233517 was originally finished in Jaguar Dark Blue with light blue trim (the same as it is today) and was retailed through Henlys, being first registered as HPA 700C, the registration it wears today. The car's history is not known prior to 1992 when it was acquired by a Mr Vann and it was he that commissioned its restoration. The no expense spared rebuild was commenced by marque specialists, Three Point Four, and completed in November 1997 by Scott-Moncrieff. Its specification includes a rebuilt, balanced and tuned engine, 2" SU carburettors on matching manifolds, front anti-roll bar, Koni shock absorbers, uprated coil springs at the front, 'Coombs'-type rear wheel arches, 'Coombs'-type chromed wire wheels a Moto-Lita wood-rimmed steering wheel, Pioneer stereo system and discreet period style circular mirrors to the window frames. It's believed that the car was subsequently re-trimmed by renowned experts Suffolk & Turley. The Jaguar remained with Mr Vann for the next 20-or-so years before being sold to the owner prior to our vendor who appears to have fastidiously maintained it by the number of Red Triangle bills on file. Included in the fascinating history file are many bills from Scott-Moncrieff for the rebuild and also a photographic record of the restoration, old MOT Certificates, a copy of a sales invoice dated 22nd April 2016 from Runnymede Motor Company and more recent Invoices from Red Triangle for various works on the car during 2016/2017. Most recently this car last sold in July 2020 at auction for £51,750 but appears to have never been driven by its new owner (a US-resident) and committed to secure storage. The Jaguar has recently emerged from those four years of storage so an element of recommissioning is to be expected.Excitingly offered at No Reserve, we encourage your inspection at our Supercar Fest Sale of Iconic and Classic Cars.Specification Make: JAGUAR Model: MK2 3.8-LITRE SALOON Year: 1964 Chassis Number: 233517 Registration Number: HPA 700C Transmission: Manual Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 87074 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: LeatherClick here for more details and images

A collector-quality example of Renault's never-to-be-repeated, limited edition design classic with just over 5,000 miles and an extensive service history. Designed from the outset as a driver's car, the Spider's chassis was made of aluminium (combining low weight and substantial strength) clad in a GRP body. The gearbox and engine were one unit, transversally fixed in an oscillating hinge (an arrangement inspired by aeronautical design), which all but eradicated the interference of engine vibration with the chassis. The pedals of the Spider were adjustable as well as the seat so the driver could achieve the absolute optimum driving position. The heart of the Spider was a mid-mounted, 2-litre, DOHC F7R four-cylinder engine which was borrowed from the Clio Williams and later used in the Mégane Coupé. Tuned to generate 148bhp and 129lb/ft of torque, the 16-valve unit was linked to a 5-speed manual transmission that sent power to the rear wheels. The 930kg two-seater sprinted from 0 to 62mph in 6.9 seconds and went on to a top speed of 133mph.According to the official production numbers, there were just 1,685 examples of the Spider assembled in Alpine’s Dieppe factory from 1996 to 1999. Each car was hand-built from start to finish and took about 90 hours to complete, which partially justified it's relatively high price at the time. The Spider model was unfortunately discontinued after only a year and a half of production.400 left-hand drive cars were produced as 'saute vente’ with a wind deflector (instead of a windscreen) which created an air-screen in front of the driver. For the UK-market, a number of right-hand drive cars were built with windscreens, but only 60 of them were sold. The remainder of the cars were sold in the German market converted back to left-hand drive, with the addition of a driver’s airbag. The 1997 Renault Sport Spider presented here is one of those 60 windscreen-equipped, right-hand drive examples sold new to the UK-market and has covered just over 5,000 miles since new. It's finished in the original three-stage Pearlescent Liquid Yellow paintwork – arguably a Spider’s signature colour. Incredibly original and still in 'showroom condition', there cannot be many better examples available, its condition being wholly commensurate with its low mileage, fully supported by servicing records.  It was supplied new on 16th December 1997 through Bailey’s of Hanley Ltd. (Renault) and is still accompanied by its owner's book-pack, service book, numerous receipts and invoices, V5C, previous MOT Certificates and both keys, as well as clear and weatherproof cockpit covers. It also retains its original ‘briefcase’ in the front luggage compartment which houses the locking wheel nut, spares, tow hook, and jack. The service record is impeccable too, the most recent (with cambelt) being carried out at Renault specialists, Cedar Motors Ltd. of Leicestershire, in August 2023. This well sorted MG TC represents the best of post-war light sports cars and still catches the eye. A landmark in the history of MG, the TC was the first British sports car to sell in serious numbers globally, proving a huge success in America where it paved the way for generations of Triumphs, Austin-Healeys and numerous others. Launched in 1945, the TC may have been a mildly revamped version of the short-lived TB, but the formula of traditional sports car styling, sparkling performance and affordability made the latest MG a winner, with some 10,000 examples rolling off the production lines at Abingdon over the next five years. Some useful modifications were made to the TBs suspension, with new shock absorbers and conventional springs in place of the sliding trunnion set-up of the pre-war model. The willing 1,250cc four-cylinder engine produced 54bhp at 5,200rpm, delivered to the rear wheels through a 4-speed gearbox with synchromesh on second, third and top. With its upright radiator, separate wings and a fold-flat windscreen, the MG's steadfastly traditional appearance bucked prevailing styling trends, lacking amenities like bumper bars or even a heater, all of which only seemed to enhance the TCs appeal to hardy sportscar drivers around the world. This charming 1947 MG TC was fully restored between 2002 and 2005 and the quality still shines through, providing the gentle patina that we all admire. The ground-up restoration included blasting the chassis and finishing with a high quality powder coat topped with a new Hutson body tub. At some point the original engine has been replaced with a 1,359cc unit (B9898) and XPAG Engineering carried out a full rebuild on this engine and gearbox. The car is fitted with the improved steering box and updated rear axle seals, and was treated to a four wheel geometry set-up. The interior was retrimmed in tan leather and looks splendid with its original Jaeger instruments and Bluemells sprung wheel and it has a full set of weather equipment including a half-tonneau. It wears a correct Lucas FT27 fog light and the high-level brake light is removeable for the sake of originality. Finished in the best colour for post-war Britain and a timeless design that still cuts the mustard. This well sorted MG TC represents the best of post-war light sportscars and still catches the eye. Fully restored with a myriad of OEM+ upgrades, a simply outstanding matching numbers example with just two former keepers, well known and much respected within the RS Owners Club. In September 1978, Ford introduced the RS2000 'Custom' which came fitted with 'Fishnet' Recaro seats, full door cards, clock and pod, centre console, 6Jx13" alloys, boot carpet, remote driver's door mirror and a black panel around the rear lights. In 1980, an RS2000 Custom was an extremely aspirational purchase, with the distinctive polyurethane 'droop snoot' front end and air dam, distinguishing it from any other Escort.Finished in Signal Red with a Chocolate Brown interior, this Escort RS2000 Custom was supplied new in June 1980 via the Ford main dealer E. Hodgson & Son Ltd. of Retford, Nottinghamshire to its original owner, a Mr Bentley of Sheffield. In July 1990 it was sold to its second keeper, a Mr Leathers of Alfreton, who had always wanted a 'new' or the 'best RS' but having never achieved this, sourced this one previous owner example from Sheffield. In 1991, Mr Leathers' desire for perfection meant that the car was fully stripped down, with new/genuine parts sourced, from as far away as Germany, whilst the body-shop worked on the car between jobs and at weekends. Two years passed before the bodyshell was fully completed and Mr Leathers took delivery of his 'rolling' project with the intention of finishing it, however other commitments resulted in it remaining unfinished for another 12 years before finally stalling. Our vendor heard, through a friend, about the RS and upon seeing the quality of the work done thus far, he just had to buy it. This was in August 2005, when it was moved into his sealed, dehumidified workshop and when time and monies allowed, it was painstakingly finished – this wasn’t until 2016 – but it was well worth the wait! It has been a regular attendee at RS Owners Club events and meets where it has garnered much admiration. The car benefits from many new/old stock (NOS) parts and some of the usual period upgrades including a 5-speed gearbox (fully rebuilt) with a quick-shift gear selector, 7" Ronal alloy wheels, new back axle, NOS Ford rear drums, a one-piece prop, new brake & fuel lines, an NOS fuel tank, 'Group 1' Bilstein rear shocks, front NOS Capri 2.8i struts with 'Group 1' inserts, 2.8i vented discs/calipers, single leaf rear springs, braided brake hoses, NOS Weber carb, an Ashley exhaust manifold and system, new radiator and hoses, electronic ignition and a rebuilt dashboard (including circuit foils and voltage regulator). Its original matching numbers engine was fully rebuilt by specialist W.S. Bates Ltd. of Nottingham (re-bored, new pistons, shells, bearings, valves etc.) with a lightly gas-flowed head, plus a period Ford push-button radio, NOS window/screen rubbers, NOS rear boot spoiler and a new brake master cylinder.Still proudly wearing its original registration number, and sporting its original interior, this two-previous-owners 1980s sports saloon is to be celebrated; these are great cars, with a proper following and deservedly so. The extensive rebuild is documented with photos and invoices, whilst the car drives and runs as well as you’d imagine. A genuine 'best-of-breed' RS2000 Custom, don’t miss it.Specification Make: FORD Model: ESCORT RS2000 CUSTOM Year: 1980 Chassis Number: GCATAC017650 Registration Number: OVL 314V Transmission: Manual Engine Number: AC01765 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 96861 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

Delightful second-generation Corvette in Nassau Blue with a 427ci 'big-block' and a manual gearbox. Introduced in 1963, Chevrolet's sensational new Corvette Stingray (factory designation C2) represented a quantum leap for America's favourite sports car, both technically and in terms of its dramatic looks, and featured a new ladder-type chassis designed by Zora Arkus-Duntov combined with stunning bodywork penned by Larry Shinoda for Bill Mitchell's styling team. Initially sold with the classic 'small-block' 327ci V8 under the elegant bonnet, the C2 was a significant improvement over the earlier cars thanks to independent suspension all-round, the much stiffer box-section frame and, from 1965, the addition of Delco disc brakes at each corner. The list of drivetrain choices expanded to include a 396ci 'big-block' in 1965 followed by the legendary 427ci the following year along with an array of manual or automatic transmissions.Cosmetic changes were remarkably few, a testament to Shinoda's original concept, and only minor alterations were made for 1966 including a new 'egg-crate' grille, new rocker-panel mouldings, chrome-plated exhaust bezels, a new wheel cover design and the 'Corvette Stingray' script added to the bonnet. This delightful example dates from 1966 and is powered by the 427ci 'Turbo-Jet' V8 combined with a manual gearbox. Naturally, it's left-hand drive and is superbly presented in Nassau Blue with a white soft top and a classic black interior, all set off by chromed side-exit exhausts and C2 direct-bolt 'knockoff' wheels with narrow 'whitewalls'.It arrived from the USA in 1989 and since then, the history file contains a complete timeline and a breakdown of the expenditure lavished on keeping this Corvette in the best possible condition and mechanical health. Much of the restoration work was carried out in 2004/5 by renowned Corvette specialists, Vette Dreams, and the file details extensive work including the Nassau Blue repaint and an engine rebuild by Tower Engineering of Clacton-on-Sea which included a reground crankshaft, all new bearings, fully balanced and a top-end rebuild with new exhaust valve seats. The history file contains multiple invoices covering the purchase of parts from marque specialists. Judging by earlier MOTs and recorded mileages, it appears that the car has only covered around three thousand miles since the restoration and still presents to a very high standard today. More recently, in 2022/3, the power steering assembly including all the belts was replaced ensuring that the driving experience of this very quick Corvette remains a pleasure. It was with its last owner for 15 years who so enjoyed the car that, having sold it once, he bought it back.Although later generations of Corvette became more technologically advanced, none have quite managed to capture the style, presence and driving pleasure of the original 1963-67 Stingrays.Specification Make: CHEVROLET Model: CORVETTE Year: 1966 Chassis Number: 194676S110068 Registration Number: PBY 109D Transmission: Manual Drive Side: Left-hand Drive Make: LHD Interior Colour: Black LeatherClick here for more details and images

UK-specification, low-build number, Passion Red, 39,000 miles, plenty of history, and some discrete upgrades.....the Tommi Mäkinen sweet-spot! By 1997, rallying had captured the imagination of petrol-heads everywhere and Mitsubishi sold 6,000 Evolution IVs in the first three days of its launch! In quick succession, the Lancer Evolution VI arrived and in the latter-half of 1999, Mitsubishi unleashed a special edition to celebrate its favourite son’s four consecutive WRC drivers' titles from 1996-1999 - the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI 'Tommi Mäkinen Edition' (TME). The Evolution VI was already a technological tour de force, but the TME had a more responsive titanium turbocharger, uprated and lowered suspension ('tuned to give improved initial response on tarmac surfaces'), quicker steering, a different exhaust, a new ECU, beefed-up transfer case internals, a redesigned front bumper for even better cooling and authentic 17" WRC Enkei alloy wheels. Plus, there was a special interior featuring embossed Recaro seats, a MOMO steering wheel and red stitching. The performance upgrades saw the 0-60mph sprint obliterated in 4.4 seconds and a maximum top speed of 150mph. Power was rumoured to be over 300bhp, rather than the 276bhp 'agreement'.Widely regarded as the finest Lancer to wear the Evolution badge and only 250 TMEs were officially imported into the UK, with 100 examples going to Australia and the rest sold domestically in the Japanese Market. Official figures show that of the UK's allocation, only 50 examples were in Passion Red, the signature colour for a TME. According to Mitsubishi, it was these Passion Red cars that automatically received the renowned racing decals, known as a 'Special Colour Package' (SCP), meaning these cars were factory-fitted with black door handles (so as to not break the line of the long profile decal). In the world of Mitsubishi aficionados, the consensus is that there were just 212 official factory SCP examples of the TME produced worldwide. The car presented here then is very special indeed. Not only is it a genuine Evolution VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition (CP9A / SNGF2) SCP car (i.e.one of 212) in the signature colour of Passion Red, but it is also an official UK-market example. This means it was officially imported by Mitsubishi-affiliated Ralliart UK, hence it would have been professionally SVA'd and is supplied with UK service books, a calibrated speedometer, an unleaded-spec fuel restrictor, cold-climate battery and an alternator, plus it is individually numbered with a plaque in the cabin - and not just any number in this case, here it reads #019, making this car a very early-in-the-run UK-market TME - the cars within the first 50 examples are considered to have special designations amongst enthusiasts and collectors. This very special car has covered just 39,000 miles supported by MOT and service records and has had just a handful of owners, the last, our vendor since 2012. It's only been lightly/discretely enhanced, benefitting from an engine tune by Evo specialist, Mark Shead, with a 'conservative' ECU upgrade, anti-lag, AP Racing 6-pot 362mm brake kit and a set of white Compomotive motorsports alloys.Accompanied by a large history file, with many receipts, plus its original and complete book-pack, the car has just had a full cam-belt service and a full MOT as part of its recommissioning, since coming out of storage.Specification Make: MITSUBISHI Model: LANCER EVOLUTION VL 'TOMMI MÄKINEN EDITION' UK-SPEC CHASSIS #19 Year: 2001 Chassis Number: CP9A0201177 Registration Number: Y19 TME Transmission: Manual Engine Number: AG63BD2420 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 39297 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

Fitted with the Tiptronic S gearbox, elegantly specified as one of the fastest, most luxuriously appointed cabriolets of its day and just 20,100 miles and two owners from new. Perhaps the only modern sports coupé that the vast majority of people could identify without its badge, the Porsche 911 is a uniquely aspirational model for those wanting a reliable daily sports car, a paradox of statement and subtlety. Perfected over generations, each variant of the 911 has met the expectations of the individual and whilst the daily commute in a Carrera was acceptable for some, the 911 Turbo was something special. Refined yet capable of supercar speeds, the evolution of the Turbo came into its own with the 996 generation of the late 1990s and early 2000s, however the circular headlamps were missed and in 2004 they returned with the 997 Carrera. It wasn't until 2006 that the Turbo version was finally revealed, first shown at that year's Geneva Show and initially offered as a coupé with an impressive specification. The Mezger 3.6-litre engine was carried over but now produced 480bhp at 6,000rpm and featured 'VarioCam Plus' and a pair of clever Borg-Warner variable geometry turbochargers, a totally new technology for Porsche. With a manual gearbox, the 997 Turbo requires just 3.9 seconds to reach 62mph and will go on to 193mph, whilst an impressive 3.7 seconds is achievable with deft use of the 5-speed Tiptronic S selector paddles.Power is transmitted to all four wheels with Porsche Traction Management (PTM) which utilises an electronically controlled, multi-plate clutch. This intelligent technology provides variable drive to each axle. The front/rear split is continuously adjusted based on current road conditions and driver inputs and, although biased towards the rear, the front receives more power whenever the situation requires. The May 2007 launch of the Turbo Cabriolet was universally acclaimed, yet it entered a competitive market that ironically it had helped to create, but brand loyalty, due to its reputation for reliability and blistering speed, set the car apart. For some, only a red Ferrari will do, much like a black 911 Turbo would be the obvious choice for many, and questionable colour choices have come in and out of fashion over the years. So we applaud the first owner’s specification of this Turbo Cabriolet in Macadamia Metallic with a Cocoa power-hood above the Sand Beige leather interior and the rare, for a 911, fitment of wooden accents. The Sycamore trim is beautifully finished, a classy addition that is neither ostentatiously Bentley or obviously Jaguar. The copy Bill of Sale to the first of its two owners on 18th September 2007 confirms that the car was to 'look the part' as can be seen in the options, such as the painted front spoiler lip, additional leather and Sycamore trim, crested headrests, stainless-steel door guards and much more, for a total cost of £126,116.The history file is confidence-inspiring and will be complemented by a Porsche main dealer service before the auction, together with a fresh MOT. Presented with some 20,200 miles from new (at the time of cataloguing), and clearly enjoyed for special outings, this motor car is one for the connoisseur.Specification Make: PORSCHE Model: 911 -997 Year: 2007 Chassis Number: WP0ZZZ99Z8S786438 Registration Number: GY57 AHV Transmission: Automatic Engine Number: 62801676 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 20200 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Sand Beige LeatherClick here for more details and images

As the ultimate representation of TVR's Speed Six era - and of Peter Wheeler’s vision for the brand - this unique T440R is a significant part of the Blackpool firm's history.  If you are familiar with TVR’s back catalogue, you will understand the significance of this car; just like with the TVR Cerbera Speed 12 sold by Iconic Auctioneers (formerly Silverstone Auctions) last year, for £601,500, we are thrilled to offer this incredible opportunity to own another genuine piece of TVR history. The T440R was created so that TVR could challenge at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the intention of securing the marque homologation and FIA Approval to enter GT1 Class Endurance Racing. Initially named the ‘Tuscan R’ (R standing for Racing), the project began during the late 1990s with the hope that TVR would return to the Circuit de la Sarthe for the first time in more than 40 years. With an entirely new approach required to maintain speeds in excess of 200 mph on the Mulsanne Straight, the T440R was constructed completely by hand with a specialist in-house factory team. Designed with the help of cutting-edge CAD/CAM Technology, the complex and cutting-edge advanced structure was both hugely advanced and expensive to develop, and was like no other TVR built before it, or since. With a naturally-aspirated engine producing more than 400bhp and weighing just over 1100kgs, the performance of the T440R was quite simply staggering. Sophisticated aerodynamics generated a drag coefficient of a remarkable 0.32 and the production methods included a flat-floor design constructed from resin-filled aluminium honeycomb. This structure was then bonded and bolted directly to the seamless tubular chassis and integral steel roll-cage. A separate, lightweight carbon fibre tub was then also bonded to the structure together with the carbon fibre bodywok adding further strength and rigid reinforcement. From this, TVR were able to offer (in theory) two road-going versions of this car, the T440R - with a 4.2-litre 440bhp engine, and the Typhon (which was intended to run a sequential gearbox and a supercharger, but never came to fruition). The first of the T440R examples, and always registered as ‘PN02 ZNG’, is the car presented here. PN02 ZNG was actually the second factory pre-production car, the first (a purple, or sometimes silver example) was destroyed at the factory.PN02 ZNG remained road-registered, sporting its factory 4.2-litre powerplant, and was the original factory press car which was used in the marketing literature and brochures at the time, and was famously driven by Jeremy Clarkson in his 2002 film, No Limits, which can be viewed on YouTube. Subsequently, the car was factory-converted into an interpretation of the envisaged race car (in DeWalt livery) and was displayed at Le Mans, as a promotional exercise, in about 2004/5, to publicise TVR’s (hopefully) forthcoming involvement in the racing series. Following this, in 2008, it was purchased by a private customer (through ‘Racing Green’), whilst being in the care of TVR specialists since 2014.Overseen by our vendor, it has now been fully restored by those TVR specialists, and is fitted with a brand new 4.4-litre Speed Six engine built by Dom Trickett at Powers Performance, the same company that developed high-performance engines for the factory. Its engine now is as close in output/engineering competency as TVR ever achieved, with the 'aspirational' 440bhp (which helped coin the model's name back-in-the-day) always proving hard to actually reach. It also has a new clutch, differential, shocks, close-ratio gearbox, suspension and many other parts, all bespoke to the car. The exhaust was built by the talented Ryan Edwards, whilst the door glass was specially re-made by the original manufacturers in Italy! Such has been the attention to detail. PN02 ZNG is now in better condition that it ever was, it's fit & finish is superb, the materials used are first-rate, whilst the engineers employed to reinstate it have had the time, budget and derived knowledge to make this sensational car as good as it could ever be.The car has been superbly painted in its stunning original Candy Apple Red and has a newly trimmed, high-quality full leather interior. A comprehensive photo file of the rebuild, plus pictures of the car in its original form at the factory, have been put together to record this historic build (available upon request). The provenance of PN02 ZNG is indisputable, valid and can be easily traced; indeed, David Hothersall (TVR CC), an expert on these cars, can vouch for its veracity. Please do enquire if there is any uncertainty or questions. With the TVR Cerbera Speed 12 having sold for more than £600,000 last year, this original T440R represents an incredible chance to own an immaculate piece of the TVR story for a fraction of that figure. One of the rarest (but entirely usable) cars in TVR’s history could now be yours.Iconic Auctioneers are again very proud to offer for sale such a car- a unique example of its type from an era of British automotive brilliance. For any serious collector or enthusiast, this is a remarkable opportunity to acquire this legendary motor car and, as its owner, you and it would be welcome and much admired at any high-profile motoring event anywhere in the world.PN02 ZNG was recently featured in the current edition of 'Classic & Sportscar' magazine: https://www.classicandsportscar.com/features/tvr-t440r-blackpools-200mph-road-racerand also on the 'DriveTribe' YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqBS19coeBc(The first eight photographs here are used with permission from, and much thanks to, Classic & Sportscar magazine, part of the Haymarket Media Group, and were taken by John Bradshaw; and the Copyright remains with them)   Specification Make: TVR Model: T440R Year: 2002 Chassis Number: SDLGA18A92B001249 Registration Number: PN02 ZNG Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 0212P6402673 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

Classiche-Certified, matching numbers, right-hand drive, fibreglass-bodied 308 and one of only two in this striking colour. Introduced at the Paris Salon in 1975, the stunningly beautiful 308 GTB, Ferrari's second V8-engined road car, marked a welcome return to Pininfarina styling following the Bertone-designed Dino 308 GT4. Badged as a 'proper' Ferrari rather than a Dino, the newcomer had changed little mechanically apart from a reduction in wheelbase, whilst retaining its predecessor's underpinnings and transversely mounted quad-cam, 3-litre V8, which now featured dry-sump lubrication. In road tune, this superbly engineered power unit produced 255bhp, an output good enough to propel the aerodynamically efficient 308 to a top speed of 150mph (240kph). Produced initially with fibreglass (Vetroresina) bodywork - the first time this material had been used for a production Ferrari - the Scaglietti-built 308 GTB used steel after April 1977. This change in construction brought with it a considerable weight penalty (around 80kg) and consequently a reduction in performance, as well as increased susceptibility to corrosion. Naturally, anyone wanting to race a 308 GTB started out with the Vetroresina version if they could.Should all Ferraris be red? Take a look at this GTB Vetroresina and we suggest that your opinion may well change. This striking, fibreglass-bodied 308GTB was produced by Ferrari SpA, Maranello in September 1976 for the UK-market importer, Maranello Concessionaires Ltd, and their dealer, Maltin Car Concessionaires in Henley-on-Thames. Ordered from new in Verde Medio Metallizzato (106-G-29) with a tan interior (VM846), it was UK-registered as WJO 125R and collected from the showroom on 2nd November 1976 by its first owner, a Mr F D Bailey, who must have felt a huge sense of relief, having ordered the car's colour from a batch of Ferrari colour swatches, and put up with lots of well-meaning advice from friends who doubted his sanity, to find that when it arrived, it was absolutely stunning, with his friend's faces now matching the colour of the car. It's been the subject of a recent, professional, no expense spared, full-body refurbishment and interior retrim by Leather Care in Warrington, all completed to the very highest of standards. This is a rare car, confirmed to be matching numbers and one of just two examples in right-hand drive to have left the factory in this colour and the only one with a tan interior. We understand that only 11 GTBs were finished in this colour worldwide. Not only is this 308 GTB presented with a rare and desirable toolkit, jack kit and brocade document wallet, but it has also just benefitted from a recent and comprehensive mechanical overhaul including a full belt change and is ready to be enjoyed as intended once again. It should also be noted that Classiche Certification was issued in 2007, meaning that this Vetroresina has to be a must-have for any vibrant and serious Ferrari collector, with your early inspection being welcomed and encouraged to fully appreciate the rare opportunity on offer here.Specification Make: FERRARI Model: 308 GTB VETRORESINA Year: 1976 Chassis Number: 20001 Registration Number: WJO 125R Transmission: Manual Engine Number: TBA Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 78482 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Beige HideClick here for more details and images

In superbly original condition, just 25,000 miles, with full service history and from 32-years ownership.   In 1986, the original Sierra Cosworth was a new kind of performance car - a blue-collar hero able to humble true sports cars. In 1988, Ford introduced the Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth, a more ‘discreet’ version, built using the four-door Sapphire bodyshell, first with the same rear-wheel drive layout as the three-door original, and then later with four-wheel drive; but even with a more restrained exterior, a plush velour interior and an executive four-door shell, the Sapphire was far from dull. The early rear-wheel drive cars had 204bhp from the YBB engine (205 block), a T5 gearbox, 7" x 15" lattice alloy wheels, front and rear spoilers, side skirts and Recaro seats. The rear-wheel drive cars could hit 60mph in 6.1 seconds. Despite the extra power and potential for greater traction, the later 4x4 Sapphire was slower to 60mph, reaching the speed in 6.6 secs. Approximately 13,140 2WD Sapphire examples were produced during 1988-1989; all were assembled in Ghenk, Belgium, with UK-built Ford-Cosworth engines. The car presented here is a 1989 Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth (2WD) and is in super original, unmolested condition. First registered on 18th August 1989, this superb example has covered just over 25,000 miles within the same family since it was just two years old. Due to the owner's poor health, this Sapphire remained unused and garaged for over 20 years. A combination of diligent ownership, minimal use (due to circumstance) and sheer preservation, now means this ‘Fast Ford’ is in collector-quality condition. We are informed that this exceptional car still retains its original factory-fitted panels, factory-etched glass and its original paint throughout. The interior is described as showing virtually no wear on the switchgear or surfaces. Likewise, all the dials and switchgear are said to function correctly, there are no cracks or UV damage to the dashboard and the original Recaro seats remain in beautiful condition. The boot contains its original Dunlop Sport spare wheel and factory-fitted jack whilst the parcel shelf is straight and free from any aftermarket speaker holes. The original electronic sound system, ECU2 (including power amplifier) are also still in situ, whilst the factory-fitted 15" wheels are shod with period Pirelli P600 tyres. The brakes have been fully recommissioned, benefiting from new rear calipers, brake fluid and discs/pads.The accompanying service history file includes the original Ford service book, owner’s handbook, radio operation manual, numerous invoices, two Ford keys, old tax discs and MOT history certificates. If you are looking for an unmolested, original RS Cosworth, this is probably one of the worthiest candidates currently available. The lighter and rarer version of the Sapphire, this example is one for the Ford connoisseur and is offered at an attractive price guide, offering the new owner membership of the exclusive club of RS ownership.Specification Make: FORD Model: SIERRA SAPPHIRE RS COSWORTH 2WD Year: 1989 Chassis Number: WF0FXXGBBFJS34294 Registration Number: G399 MGH Transmission: Manual Engine Number: JS34294 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 25115 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

The 1996 'Grand Sport' was the ultimate development of the fourth generation of Chevrolet's legendary Corvette. Introduced in 1984, after a one year model hiatus, the fourth-generation (C4) Corvette modernised Chevrolet's halo model, dragging it out of the regulation and emission-choked doldrums and boasting many new electronic features including a digital dashboard. The C4 would carry Chevrolet through the 1980s and early 1990s with highlights including the 'One-Millionth' Corvette and the introduction of the ZR-1,which took the Corvette, for the first time in many years, back to the top of the muscle-car performance pile. For its final year of production in 1996, Chevrolet introduced a special model to help the C4 go out with a bang prior to the introduction of the new-for-1997 C5. Named 'Grand Sport' in honour of the five lightweight Corvette racers that Zora Arkus Duntov designed in 1963 prior to Chevrolet’s official exit from motorsport, the C4's swansong was a limited-edition of 1,000 cars. All were painted a distinctive Admiral Blue Metallic with a wide Arctic White centre stripe and a pair of red hash stripes over the left front wheel, with motivation being provided by a 'one-year-only' 330bhp 5.7-litre LT4 V8 paired to the desirable 6-speed manual transmission. This superb example was sourced directly from the US by its present and fanatical owner who looked long and hard before securing this low-mileage (less than 14,000 at the time of viewing) example with it being one of just 810 Coupés (just one of 217 with the Torch Red interior and one of only 91 with the desirable F45 suspension). It’s in immaculate and original condition throughout with the only addition to standard being Corsa rear exhaust boxes. Complete with a comprehensive service history, all books, an original sales brochure and advertising poster and, unbelievably, the original build sticker is still in place attached to the fuel tank. This rare Corvette would be a welcome addition to any American car Collector's stable, an opportunity not to be missed.NB. Introduced in 2007, the Gallardo Nera was an all-black, limited edition version designed to showcase the marques Ad Personam personalisation programme with only 185 planned for production. All were finished in Nero Serapis/Nero Noctis and featured special paintwork in matt black on the side mirrors, rear spoiler, rear body panels, roof, selected front panels and on the door sills and rear apron. White side indicator lenses and darkened tail lights complement the 'stealth mode' look of the exterior and the cars were presented on a set of 19" Satin Black 'Callisto' split-rim alloy wheels, housing silver Lamborghini-badged calipers and shod in Pirelli P Zero tyres. The interior is styled in the colours Nero Perseus and Bianco Polar using the bi-colour sportive equipment variant. A further branding package and the Ad Personam equipment package provides additional distinctive touches. The Leather II variant in Bianco Polar includes leather trims for the climate control operating panel, handbrake and gear lever console in addition to the inner door handles and seat side-cushions. The seats boast rhomboidal stitching in the Q-citura pattern, which can also be found on the Alcantara roof lining, door trims, the partition wall between the seats and the engine compartment. Instrument rings and decorative stitching on the steering wheel, plus white piping on the seats and mats, round off the interior.Factory-fitted options on these models included a rear-mounted reversing camera, electrically adjustable heated seats, dual-zone climate control with air conditioning, a front axle lift system, satellite navigation and a sport mode for the gearbox. Mechanically, the Nera was similar to the standard car and offered a 5-litre naturally-aspirated V10 engine, delivering 513bhp to all four wheels via a 6-speed, automated manual 'E-gear' transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddles and offering 0-60mph in four seconds on its way to 197mph.Only 185 Gallardo Nera were produced and of these, 60 were destined for the American market, 101 were sold in Europe and it's believed that only 24 right-hand drive cars were built, making this a very rare example. We understand from our vendor that when he purchased the Nera it was advertised that a former keeper was a famous golfer and the seller later confirmed that it had belonged to British Open-winning Ulsterman, Darren Clarke OBE.This fabulous Lamborghini has been meticulously cared for and is supplied with all its keys and a history file containing the book-pack, the comprehensive history, a recent health check and its current MOT Certificate. One of just 88 S2.2s produced, on offer from 40 years long term ownership, a previous Concours d'Elegance winner and remaining in outstanding condition. In the early 1970s, the recently appointed Tony Rudd came up with two major ideas, codenamed Project M50 and Project M70, the former becoming the 1974 Lotus Elite and the latter, the Esprit. The S1 Esprit was released in 1976 following halts in production and design, with Colin Chapman being underwhelmed by the model version’s wind-tunnel performance. The S2 launched in 1978 and the incredibly rare S2.2 was released in May 1980 as a ‘stop gap’ car, to bridge the 13-month void between the S2 and S3. As part of the advertising and marketing program, the S2 was launched featuring the infamous shot of its creator, Colin Chapman, perched on a Championship Gold S2 Esprit in front of his JPS logo'd Cessna Chancellor executive twin. It's the kind of image that only the 1970s could pull off with any degree of normality.External differences from the S1 included new intake and cooling ducts behind the rear quarter windows, 15" Speedline alloy wheels, tail lights from the Rover SD1 and an integrated front spoiler. Not known for their practicality, more helpful changes were made including relocating the battery to the rear of the car, adding an access door to the engine cover, installing wider seats and replacing the Veglia instrument cluster with individual Smiths. The only major differences between the S2 and the S2.2 was a 2.2-litre Type 912 engine and the all-important galvanised chassis. Power output stayed the same at 160bhp but torque rose from 140lb/ft to 160lb/ft. Realistic Lotus claims indicate 0-60mph in around seven seconds and an 80-100mph time in fifth gear that was effectively halved.Leaving the Hethel factory in February of 1980, this S2.2 is offered by its third owner from new, who purchased the car from Bell & Colville in Surrey on 1st December 1984 with a recorded 21,00 miles. That’s some 40-years of single ownership, one of the longest we’ve seen! They had always wanted an Esprit and this happened to be the right car, at the right time, in the right place. Unfortunately, due to a growing family and the associated commitments, the car was put into dry storage in 1992 and remained there until recently, when it was subject to a full engine-out overhaul and rebuild by marque specialists, Maidstone Sports Cars, completed in December 2023.The S2.2 presents in wonderfully wholesome and original condition and is finished in its distinctive colours of Lotus Yellow with a green suede interior - it is fabulously 1980s. As a member of Club Lotus for many years, the car has attended shows across the country, with placings and a win at Donnington in 1989. The history file makes for lovely reading, including the purchase invoice from Bell & Colville, its original and fully stamped service book, (most recent in 2023), heaps of old MOTs, invoices for maintenance and the original owners handbook.A fabulous example of the incredibly rare S2.2, with warranted low mileage and a recent refresh, there is very little not to love about this wonderful little Lotus.Specification Make: LOTUS Model: ESPRIT S2.2 Year: 1980 Chassis Number: SCCCB12A4AHD10871 Registration Number: PMJ 166W Transmission: Manual Engine Number: CC912800117869 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 41564 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: BlackClick here for more details and images

Los 212

UK-supplied P1 recently mechanically refreshed and in excellent condition throughout. Built at Subaru's Fuji Heavy Industries plant in Japan and honed by rally royalty, Prodrive, the Impreza P1 was always destined to become the hugely desirable modern classic that we rightfully see it as today. Built in a limited run of just 1,000 cars, every one featured the iconic Blue Mica paintwork, Anthracite 17" OZ racing wheels and a plethora of upgrades and unique features. It's easy to see why the P1 has gained such a cult following.Based on the two-door bodyshell, with aerodynamics enhanced by Peter Stevens of McLaren F1 fame, beefier running gear and a fabulous suspension setup by Prodrive, the P1 has more in common with the legendary Impreza 22B than its larger four-door Impreza WRX contemporaries. Developed with British B-roads in mind, by the very same company which helped the likes of Colin McRae, Petter Solburg and Richard Burns win World Rally Championships, the 'Prodrive One' was intended to counter the wave of grey-import STI Type Rs arriving from Japan.Upgrades to the P1 were extensive, but not intrusive. The list includes a more powerful 280bhp engine (up 69bhp from a standard Impreza Turbo), mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with longer gearing and ABS brakes meaning the difference between a standard Impreza and a P1 is minimal. In addition to the 17" titanium-finish alloy wheels and rally-proven suspension, further upgrades include a big-bore exhaust and a quick-shift gear linkage. This particular UK-registered P1 (#0961/1000) has clearly led a cherished and much cared-for life, presenting superbly as you would expect from one of the most sought after Subaru derivatives. It benefits from a full engine refresh with more recent works noted, including a new Kevlar cambelt, new water pump, rear diff seals, and fresh fluids throughout including the diffs and gearbox, utilising industry-leading Millers Oils products. The braking system has also been flushed and refilled with RBF 600 high-performance fluid with a full four-wheel alignment completed to ensure that everything is pointing in the right direction. To enhance the already impressive specification of the P1, several subtle modifications have been carried out including an uprated turbo, a Roger Clark Motorsport lightened flywheel and pulley set, a front-mounted intercooler and oil cooler, uprated injectors and an uprated 3-point boost solenoid valve. Roger Clark Ltd. also supplied and fitted the first set of DEFi gauges imported into the UK and naturally the engine electronics have been remapped to provide the required synergy between all components. The car is accompanied by an extensive service history with stamped service book, numerous invoices and general paperwork and the original rear light clusters remain with the car and will be handed over to the new custodian on successful purchase. Your early inspection is welcomed and encouraged.Specification Make: SUBARU Model: IMPREZA P1 Year: 2001 Chassis Number: JF1GM8KDGYG003390 Registration Number: RL51 ZGW Transmission: Manual Engine Number: 902395 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 74812 Miles Make: RHD Interior Colour: Blue / Grey ClothClick here for more details and images
