An amethyst and cultured pearl bracelet, nine clusters featuring a central oval mixed cut amethyst surrounded by ten pearls, the clusters measuring approx. 16mm x 14mm each, marked '9 .375', length 18.5cm, gross wt. 29.3g. Condition - appears to have been slight extended at the clasp, otherwise very good, general wear including the odd light scratch/nibble to stones, metal work appears free any damage/repair, clasp and safety working
A Victorian picture clock depicting "The House of Westminster with Big Ben" oil on board inset with mother of pearl and circular dial with Arabic numerals housed within a gilt embellished lacquered frame 54 cm wide x 70 cm high over all CONDITION REPORTS There is damage/losses to the frame throughout and areas of restoration to the frame. The clock picture itself has damage to the clock dial, there is also damage to the background, some scratches, crazing etc. It appears as though there has been some touching up around the areas of the mother of pearl moon. Unknown if working. Very dirty. No keys present. The back appears to have some work etc. There are splits and screw ends poking out. Wear and tear conducive with age and use and being poorly stored - see images for more details
A Victorian rosewood satinwood strung and mother of pearl inlaid cased music box by Ami Rivenc No. 32527 playing ten popular and light operatic airs, the governor cock stamped with a winged lion, the lid bearing a reproduction blank tune sheet 50.5 cm wide x 27.5 cm deep x 16 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Case is in good condition though clearly restored with remnants of ebonising to the moulded edging. Ebonising still extant to the interior. The box appears to work fine with no teeth missing or apparently damaged. Metalwork to the change, repeat, stop, play buttons has wear. There is a sign of an old woodworm hole to the front of the glazed top panel and slight looseness to the joints, particularly to the back of the box - see images for further detail. Over all a perfectly good sounding box. The paper label to the interior of the lid is clearly a reproduction
