A collection of seven mother of pearl and silver bladed folding fruit knives together with a mother of pearl and silver pronged folding fork CONDITION REPORTS All knives have general wear and tear, blades and prongs are tarnished, some are slightly mis-shapen, there is some rusting / patination to the edges
A Victorian rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid sewing box with fitted interior, together with a brass inkwell and Benares brass table top CONDITION REPORTS Measures approx 31.5 cm x 22 cm x 12.5 cm. The top has splits to the corners. There is general scuffing, scrapes and fading all over. The escutcheon is missing. There is a gap between the meeting of the top and base. There are signs of cracking / splitting to the varnish. The interior has wear and tear, some staining and fading to the lining. The two pin cushions have holes in them. One looks more like moth holes than pin holes. There is some wear to the leather. See images for more details. The brass plate has surface scratching and wear conducive with age and use and is slightly bent. The inkwell is missing the well. The lid is detached. Has general wear and tear and is in need of a good clean.
A Honiton lace fan, with flat mother-of-pearl sticks and guards (one with damage) the sticks are held together with a brass ring; a black fan with pierced wood sticks and ornate guards, lace edged gauze with a hand painted design of cherubs within a C. Packer & Son box; and two ostrich feather fans, (4).
