Mechanics to be reviewed. Mother-of-pearl grip scales. Serial number '58xxx' matching on the grip, barrel and locking mechanism. Other numbering at the bottom of the grip. length 21,2 cm.

dating: Late 19th Century provenance: New Zealand, Upper part decorated with monster's head from whose jaws comes out the tongue that forms the lance cusp, wooden. Monster's face finely chiselled and decorated with circular eyes composed of mother-of-pearl disks. Cusp ribbed in the centerline. Haft, initially of a round section (with a knot), descending downwards enlarges and flattens by taking a palm-shaped shape, of lenticular section, oar-shaped. Scarce. length 120,5 cm.
